Hi
I am 3dpo nd I had a cm mixed with a tiny bit blood twice when I wiped. I have been having leg cramps nd generally feeling like AF is about to show, only that I am not due till 12 m days time. Anyone else had this experience?

Ugh same the leg pain is a dead give away for me for AF on its way and i currently have it unfortunately.
I'm about 5/6 days post ovulation even though I feel like I'm not ovulating some of my normal symptoms have disappeared. Also tested early to a BFN!
So try not to test early cos it's just driven me mad with disappointment.

We want a cottage anyway with the dog, plus we go with other family, just wanted to know if the area was nice with plenty to do! We are looking at Dorset. I think for now Cornwall is too far a drive.. that would need some convincing for DH to drive all that! Been to Edinburgh pre child and that was nice, and we've just got back from Yorkshire, and have booked again for October! That's our fave place!

Devon has been high up on the list of recommendations, as has Northumberland and Norfolk, so I've got some research to do! X

@Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate We’re going to Bognor Regis, we went around a year ago and my little one loved it 😊 not too sure they let you take dogs to Butlin’s though. Not sure where abouts you are but our fave uk places are Dorset or Cornwall both beautiful. Edinburgh and Yorkshire and were both amazing too last time I went but too X

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 21/04/2025 19:39

@peanutforever my DS is also 4! It's a great age but my word does that boy talk! Im sorry about your CPs/MCs. I've had a CP since DS. Now 2 years on we are trying again. And same as you, both my previous pregnancies caught first cycle, yet now entering my third this time round! Once is all it takes though so you never know 🤞

Ah which one @CrazyKJ ? Trying to scope out other holiday locations in the UK to mix it up next year. We take the dog so I dont want to caravan but just after beautiful places we haven't seen before!

@Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate We’ve got a week booked at Butlin’s in June but that’s all at the minute 😊

@peanutForever Sorry to hear about your cp/mc’s. You never know when you’ll be lucky though so fingers crossed!

peanutForever · 21/04/2025 17:46

Yes first cycle trying for no.2 have a DS who is 4! I have been pregnant 4 times which have ended in chemicals/mc (2 before DS and one after him) 2 accidental pregnancies and 2 intentional but they dont seem to stick! But all i guess were conceived on the first go (however now i am a lot older...so anticipating its gna take us a while) was originally gna wait till next cycle to try but got the go ahead from my dr to try this cycle as i was on mj and needed to time to clear it out before trying...weve dtd once but think i missed ovulation 🥲

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 21/04/2025 17:27

@peanutforever fingers crossed for you 🤞 is this your first cycle then) I really thought we had it well covered this month but obviously not haha!

2dpo here and think we missed the window but holding out hope for beginners luck lol

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 21/04/2025 17:20

We do have two more booked for this year, just in the UK again! Have you got any booked? X

CrazyKJ · 21/04/2025 16:48

Ooh yeah we can pretend we’re not going to test early together 😂
Thats super organised looking at next year already. Does make it difficult to plan just in case doesn’t it 🙈 Be good to have a holiday to look forward to though 😊 X

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 21/04/2025 13:10

Ooo yay, I'm not far behind you then which makes it easier for me to remember and not keep asking 🤣 I'm going to use a notebook I think to keep track of my cycle and symptoms etc as I find it so much easier to have things all on one page rather than apps.

Trying to book holidays for next year with my parents but we look at Easter and Summer, so if I do manage to get pregnant soon I could be very close to my due date/have a new born... which doesn't sound like my idea of fun!

Oh that was kind of him, eh! Hope you feel better soon. It's rubbish not being 100% isn't it! X

Morning! Ah sorry to hear the witch arrived @Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate. Hopefully it’s 3rd time lucky for you this cycle 🤞Hubby seems to have shared some germs as I’ve woken up feeling achy and tired, hoping it doesn’t last long 🙈 I’m on CD4 and back on it this month. Will start again with the opk’s too so feeling hopeful 😊

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 21/04/2025 12:25

Good morning! AF has just about arrived so back to CD1, cycle 3! Going to use the OPK's this cycle, and maybe the BBT tracking to get a better idea of my body during my cycles!

How are we all? Where are people up to?

OP posts:
CrazyKJ · 20/04/2025 21:49

Ah god yeah I can imagine, be nice to get back to normality. It’s so hard not to eat rubbish when you’re home and it’s there lol. I love a puzzle, hubby says it’s an old person hobby but it’s just so relaxing.
As far as I’m aware armpit thermometers aren’t the most sensitive. So you’d be better off getting one specifically for using orally. I could be wrong mind, especially if it says it can be used orally X

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 20/04/2025 20:57

it’s been a nice day but super busy day with family and an overstimulated toddler - basically my last 2 weeks with DSs birthday, holiday and Easter 🤣 it's been a good day really!

I'm tired now but desperately want to get my jigsaw (Wasgij) done before Friday.. it's so hard though!! I don't know why I pick them up ha! Also looking forward to being back at work purely to stop eating rubbish 🫠

Do you know if tracking BBT I can use my child's thermometer if it says I can use it orally (normally use it under his armpit)? Or is that weird 🫣

CrazyKJ · 20/04/2025 20:41

Hoppy Easter right back at you lol.

Haha yep sometimes just doing that first wee really fast is the way to go if you want to avoid testing lol 😂

Yeah I’m not too bad thanks, it’s been a nice day but super busy day with family and an overstimulated toddler. How was your day? 😊

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 20/04/2025 12:41

I know I know 🤣🙈 .. I said the same when we started trying for our first, because I'd never been pregnant before.

This morning I just peed really quickly so I couldn't get a test out! AF due either tomorrow or Monday, and of course now I've thought about AF I can immediately feel cramping!

How are you? Hoppy Easter 🐣 (I really am that cheesy in real life, too 🙃)

OP posts:
CrazyKJ · 20/04/2025 10:12

Happy Easter Ladies 🐣

@Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate I know it doesn’t help while you’re still waiting but you hear of people conceiving after 35 all the time. So I’m sure it’ll happen soon! 😊

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 19/04/2025 19:09

Yep 100% @CrazyKJ we also fell so quickly with our first and with our CP. I feel like that's not going to be the same this time round!

OP posts:
CrazyKJ · 19/04/2025 14:16

Still early days @Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate not out til af actually shows 😊

Know what you mean about worrying about being too old though. We fell pregnant really fast with our first so assumed it wouldn’t take long this time either. Only differences this time round are being older and that I had a c-section with our first. Hard not to start wondering if there’s something wrong 😔

lauraxoxo · 18/04/2025 22:07

Sorry to hear another BFN! 11 dpo is still so early tho. I know what u mean tho I think if it helps to test early to minimise the disappointment then go for it! x

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 18/04/2025 22:01

Hi both. I'm testing like a crazy woman and still 100% negative 🫠 I'm 11 dpo today and can't even get an evap line on any test I've done ha! I feel like early testing at least helps me prepare for AFs arrival, otherwise I'd be so disappointed when she arrived. I know im only on cycle 2 but i just feel like what if I'm too old now 😫

OP posts:
lauraxoxo · 18/04/2025 21:58

This is 3rd cycle actually tracking but been trying for almost 2 years. If the digital does tie up with the OPKs then I’ll just stick to using them I think! x

CrazyKJ · 18/04/2025 21:19

We stopped preventing around a year ago and then started properly trying after Christmas. How about you? 😊 I’m new to using opks so haven’t tried the digitals, from what I’ve seen on other posts it sounds like you could be nearly at peak though 🤞

lauraxoxo · 18/04/2025 19:10

@CrazyKJglad to hear your feeling positive for next cycle! Have you been trying long?
I had flashing smiley for 7th day 😣 had extra CM today so hoping peak is close!
