Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 04/07/2025 20:51

Oh how heartbreaking 💔 I'm so sorry to read that, and that you are going through this. Yes, time off sounds like a good idea. It's been lovely chatting to you, too. Take care of yourself xx

Ah no, I used to find the sickness bands helped a little with the nausea. Glad you’re doing okay though, hope you’re booking app goes well 😊

We lost our baby this week so probably won’t be on here much for a while. Feel like I need to take some time before we jump back into ttc.
It was great having someone to chat to the last few months while we were ttc though, so thank you. Hope all goes well for you in the coming months though Xx

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 04/07/2025 19:45

I don't want to sound like I just complain but I am now nauseous allllllll dayyyyy, and today have been the worst I've felt 🥴 got my booking appointment on Tuesday! Finally feel like I'm getting there 🤣 how are you? X

Hey @Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate hope you’re getting on okay X

CrazyKJ · 26/06/2025 07:36

To be honest compared to my son’s pregnancy this is okay. I’d lost over a stone in weight when he was born because of the sickness 🙁
Thats good you’re managing to get some runs in! Your body is kinda busy at the minute lol, so is understandable if not every run is amazing 🥰
My booking appointment is on the 14th July, could of had it the week before but falls on a day with no childcare and I didn’t fancy it with the toddler 😂
Hubby doesn’t want to do an early scan, as by the time they look like a baby it’s only a couple of weeks til the 12 week one anyway. He’s agreed to one a few weeks after 12w so LO can see baby though 😊 X

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 25/06/2025 19:11

Oh no! I've not actually been sick, but wasn't with my LO either, just feeling sick. I have to constantly graze throughout the day to keep the nausea at bay! I managed another run tonight. Monday's run was awful, I was rubbish, but redeemed it tonight!

How far away is your booking appt? Im in a WhatsApp group now with others due in Feb and theyve started having scans (EPU or privately) and I'm so jealous! X

Ah I feel for you with the nausea. I throw up as soon as I wake up and then I’m absolutely starving. It’s about 50/50 at that point if it’ll stay down 🙈 but I’m then mostly fine the rest of the day as long as I don’t get too hungry or eat too much 🙈😂
Its been lovely having a change of scenery and all the excitement means LO only takes like 10 minutes to get to sleep at bedtime lol X

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 25/06/2025 09:10

Ahh lovely to get away though! So jealous! My LO would love the swimming too.

I am just sooo nauseous. Had to have a pre-breakfast this morning before my normal 'at work' breakfast 🤣 xx

Hey @Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate 😊 Yeah I’m okay thanks. We’re at Butlin’s this week. I’m absolutely knackered but LO is living his best life with all the swimming. 1st trimester with a toddler is no joke lol. How are you? Xx

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 24/06/2025 20:48

Hey @CrazyKJhow are you doing?

OP posts:
CrazyKJ · 22/06/2025 12:44

@Jigaliga must be a relief to know either way

Jigaliga · 22/06/2025 07:56

The eagle has landed! I got my period, must just have been stressed.
Best of luck to everyone on your journeys x

Jigaliga · 20/06/2025 23:50

What's unusual is two days before my period was due, I felt a sudden small tug. It didn't hurt or anything, it was really brief but it was like a tiny pulling or fluttering sensation. I went to the bathroom and saw a tiny amount of brown discharge.

CrazyKJ · 20/06/2025 18:34

Waiting a few days seems sensible. I’ve had loads of weirdly long cycles without being preg, so could just be that.

Jigaliga · 20/06/2025 18:06

Still no period and another negative this morning. I just got a two pack of the cheap as chips ones. I think I'll wait another few days now

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 20/06/2025 06:17

Maybe just a day or two late? What test did you use?

OP posts:
Jigaliga · 19/06/2025 21:35

Today was supposed to be period day - no period.
I took a cheap test and it was a negative!

CrazyKJ · 18/06/2025 13:55

No harm in the testing if it makes you feel more relaxed 😊 I’ve put it all back on and more now 🙈 every time I’ve started to stick at exercising I end up breaking myself, swear I got to 30 and started fall apart lol X

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 18/06/2025 09:56

Ah that makes me feel a little better then! I did test again this morning though to reassure me 🙈 crikey I was so much heavier after, just finally got round to doing something about it 🤣 x

I’ve had cramps/twinges on/off the whole time so 🤞🤞 it’s just everything stretching. I read something online that said you’re more likely to have more aches etc in subsequent pregs. Apparently nothing is as tight as first time so things aren’t supported the same if that makes sense. Yeah it was horrendous the first time, I was over a stone lighter post preg. It feels manageable at the minute and I’m still eating okay, so hoping this is a bad as it gets this time 🤞

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 18/06/2025 08:29

Good haha I had cramping yesterday so I'm on high alert now.. test still strong this morning though. Did you get sickness with your first? I didn't, a bit of nausea but that's it! X

OP posts:
CrazyKJ · 18/06/2025 08:13

Yeah I don’t think it sounded too suspicious lol, she didn’t ask too many questions so could have been any appointment if you only heard my end. I did end up telling my manager yesterday anyway. I had to step away from a conversation with her to throw up 🙈 How are you feeling? X

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 18/06/2025 05:16

Aw no @CrazyKJwere you able to sort it without giving it away? I told my boss and HR yesterday, just because they'd have seen it when I submit for time off for the appt anyway!

OP posts:
CrazyKJ · 17/06/2025 21:31

@Jigaliga wont be long and at least you’ll know either way 😊

@Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate I predicted right, midwife called to sort out the booking appointment while I was at work today lol.
