Is anyone waiting to ovulate or are you all mostly in the TWW? I’ve tested my lh level again this morning and it’s still barely visible so I’ve definitely got a few days to go. I know your surge can come on so quick so im hoping this weekend il see a progression! Still trying to DTD much as possible just in case

I'm due to ovulate Sun or Mon. I get a sudden rise and peak on the day that lasts about 24 hours so my OPKs are still light too.

@BerrieSweet ah sweetie, thank you for always being so supportive, and you always find something nice to say to everyone 😍
If this is going to be your 5th cycle trying, please try not to stress (I know it's hard) If you are under 35 and you have been trying under 12 months it is considered nornal. But do the testing, perhaps it will help you to stop worrying. Sending big hugs 🤗 BTW my husband also has a sperm test but in May. It's too long to wait aaaah 😫

8DPO and need to pee constantly, was the same yesterday. I know that is a common early sign but also maybe I’ve just been drinking more as it’s been sunny!

I had this last month. I was in a training course and absolutely chugging water to try and keep myself alert and then needing to pee every 30 mins and convinced myself it was an early sign. TWW IS A BUGGER. Fingers crossed that it actually is a sign for you 😂😂

Ughh ladies i wish i never joined the group! Want to try for a baby this cycle but have to wait till may cycle as i need to wait 2months to wean of mj and wanted to be on fertility vitamins for atleast 3 months beforehand...just feeels like its dragging out sooo badly like the TWW but worse 6weeks 😂

Butterflygirl23 · 02/04/2025 12:17

@AlbatrossSocietyyeah same i actually had to take paracetamol on my last pregnancy the day after ovulation because i had quite Abit of pain the following evening lol so Il know if I don’t feel anything this cycle

I’ve just took my first lh strip and it’s reading 0.16 so I’ve got a long way to go yet

AlbatrossSociety · 02/04/2025 10:14

Sorry, such a shit feeling when you know you're out. Hope AF at least comes quickly for you so you can move on to next cycle.

@jelliebean9 flo always says test like 3 days after your period is due, no idea why. Mine also changes month to month in terms of how conservative it is 😂. This month it thinks I'm due on 12th April but I actually think it's later than that as i defs ovulated late and luteal phase is normally a full 14 days.

@Butterflygirl23 I've only been pregnant once but absolutely felt implantation and knew that's what I was feeling.

I do hate the tww but I find the first week easier because there's literally no way anything could be a symptom 😅

Room4onemore · 02/04/2025 09:57

I have a negative Asda test this morning, af due tomorrow so onto April

congrats to the positives

Muddysocks1 · 02/04/2025 07:24

7DPO for me so now the challenge of not testing begins 🤪

If it helps I didn’t find OPKs stressful at
all - I found it quite interesting especially seeing the little graph on the premom app.

I know others find it stressful so I think it’s very individual

Me too, and I worry without them I might miss the fertile window completely! You have to be having sex every other day really otherwise which is too much for us atm

I’m now around 5DPO and flo has told me I should take a pregnancy test in 13 days- which is absolutely ages 😂 why does it want me to wait so long?!?! Desperately trying to symptom spot already. Anyone else around the same DPO?

This was cycle 2 using opks for me, I haven't found them particularly stressful. Using digital ones and only do them once a day. It was helpful this month as I ovulated late but tbh I know when I'm ovulating even without the sticks because of CM I'm not sure I'll use them next cycle. There's something nice about getting a smiley face on the stick 😂😂.

I'm finally 1DPO on day 20 of my cycle 😤 such a long time to wait 🫠

We were away for a party at the weekend and I'm feeling a bit guilty cus I had a few drinks and stayed up late on Saturday night and now thinking maybe I've scuppered my chances this month 🙄🙃. Silly really when people accidentally get pregnant when drunk all the time

Totally answered yourself there, don’t count yourself out for enjoying life!! You deserve it and it takes the stress of the whole TTC away for a brief spell too. And exactly as you say. People get pregnant in all sorts of situations. You never know, the relax having a drink may have made the stars align and this will be your month. Great news ovulation has happened. Now onto the hard part 😩😩😩😩 I hate the TWW!

Butterflygirl23 · 02/04/2025 06:33

@AlbatrossSocietytnats like me I get lots of EWCM around ovulation but seeing a positive on a ovulation strip helps me and reassures me so I think I may go out today and buy some 🙈 the 3 times I’ve been pregnant (2 miscarriages) I’ve felt implantation too always got really sharp pain so I just knew all 3 times

I’ve just done my first cycle trying with OPKs and I actually did find it stressful. I kept getting myself worked up when I’d see the ‘not fertile’ blank circle! Then when the flashy happened I just moved to getting worked up when it’d become the real thing. Then when the actual static smiley actually came, I kept worrying when I’d ovulate and if I DTD at the right time! In conclusion, I’m not doing them next month and just gonna stick to when I see the EWCM cos I think all the worrying and thinking about smileys isn’t good for me 😂 I’m 4dpo and feel better than any other month at this point. So I’m assuming I’m out as surely you’d feel worse hormonally if you conceived??

Thanks for the other side of it! I think I'd probably be like that. Last time I did none of this worrying, not even wondering about CM, so I'm sure we'll get there!

Hi all! CD5 here.. trying to work out when best to DTD this month. Downloaded a couple of apps but they all seem to estimate ovulation on the 7th! I do usually get EWCM so hopefully will know when I'm ovulating. Don't want to stress myself with OPKs yet, I'm on my second cycle.

I get quite obsessive, and I don't have time to be obsessive about them haha got a busy weekend and away next week! We've DTD anyway, so just going with every other day until well past the 7th! Thank you though 😊 next cycle I will try the ones I have in my cupboard!

I'm the same. I've found them quite reassuring, in terms of them allowing me to see what's going on with my body and my cycle now I'm off the pill. And, although my cycle is a bit all over the place as a result of that transition, there are good signs that things are returning to normalcy.

@Butterflygirl23 sorry for your losses. I have a two year old DD already and had an MMC in January. Praying we both get our rainbow babies soon 🌈

@Thomsonetthompson I had late implantation bleeding with my DD and a very faint line. It came the day AF was due and I thought it was my period.

Thomsonetthompson · 01/04/2025 13:45

Congratulations to the people with positives!

I caved at 10 dpo and it could not be more white.
I got a super strong line at 12dpo with my son and a very very faint line at 13dpo with my miscarriage. Google seems a bit mixed about whether late implantation= less chance of success.

SureLook · 01/04/2025 12:53

@p0ppyx yes, mine was a light pink in colour that got lighter and faded. Mine was also just when wiping.

I have also read online what @F1boxbox said. But I had positive tests with my implantation bleeding so everyone is different!

p0ppyx · 01/04/2025 12:23

@SureLook Thank you! 🤞🏻 Can I ask if yours was just pink in colour? Mine was light pink this morning, just been to the toilet again and now it’s brown, small amount just when wiping. Really hoping it’s not AF coming early!

@F1boxbox That’s good to know, I’m going to try and wait a few more days to test now but I’m so impatient haha
