Morning everybody, looking for support/company in my TTC journey!
Bit of back ground info I'm 39 on Saturday so well aware time isn't on my side. I have 3 Children (19,12 and 6) and have had multiple miscarriages between those 3, last year I had 2 mc and a mmc at 12 weeks which resulted in a major hemorrhage and emergency surgery! We have been TTC actively since but feel very lonely in this journey 😢 Hubby is fantastic and very supportive but I feel speaking with people going through the same will help to feel less alone and less guilty that my body is failing me xx

Sounds like you’ve had a fab day and evening! I had a massive bunch of flowers, meal out last night and breakfast out this morning. Champagne too 😋 I made a roast dinner this evening. All washed up and finished now! 😮‍💨 Yes, would be lovely to fall pregnant at the same time and share the journey! X

😂😂😂 @Fluffy38 Happy Mother’s Day! Hope you are getting spoilt! Need to get it on it tonight! No pun intended 🥴😂 Parents have gone now!

How are you feeling today? I’m exhausted. Had a late night and early morning. Been out on bikes this afternoon too 😆 going to ache tomorrow! 😆I’ve got quite a lot of EWCM but I always do around 5-7 days before I ovulate! Xx

Happy mothers day to you to queen, i hooe you have had a lovely day so far. We had a really lovely evening turned the TV off and phones off had a couple of drinks and just spoke for hours we haven't done that for such a long time! I did another clear blue opk as I had a second kit and still had the static face yesterday afternoon so gonna try and get in again this evening lol, I was spoilt with loads of deep red roses and some jewellery this morning and the kids have been really well behaved! Popped over to see my mum and mother in law, hubby's getting an Indian takeaway later so no cooking yay! You defo gotta start dancing tonight if you can I'm really hoping this month works for us both how exciting would that be!! Xx

Wow @Fluffy38 sounds like you’ve had a really rough time with it!

I don’t know why but I always wanted to breastfeed mine. Even when I had my eldest at 19 I breastfed her. My mum and nan didn’t breastfeed but my great nan did. I had breast implants 17 years ago and have managed to feed with them for over 5 years! (2 different kids) I would like to get the implants replaced when I’m definitely done with pregnancies and breastfeeding!! 😂😂

Would be lovely for you to be able to experience it, even if it’s just for 6 months! X

Good morning my lovely, well I'm pleased to report I ruined the hubby last night!! I channeled my inner demon and now he's grinning like a Cheshire cat haha 😄 xx

😂😂😂😂😂 that made me a pee a little! Hilarious.

The co sleeping is hardcore. I hadn’t planned to feed her for this long. I had said 6 months max 😂 sometimes it’s just easier as I can get her to sleep quicker feeding her myself. She’s only feeding twice a day so it’s not too bad.

Luckily my eldest is at uni and rents a student house with lots of other young women her age and our 12 year old is on the 3rd floor so hears and sees nothing 😮‍💨😂 xx

Iv never been able to breast feed, I had retained placenta with both my boys needed emergency surgery and blood transfusions and was so weak they actually advised bottle feeding so I could rest more! I bottle fed my daughter as I was going back to work when she was 3 months and hubby wanted to be more hands on. If I'm lucky enough to have a 4th I'd defo like to give it a go to say that iv experienced it xx

Ha ha! Can be such a chore sometimes can’t it 😆😆😂😂 We co sleep with our 33 month old as im still breastfeeding and fed up of having to get out of the bed and find somewhere to DTD every time in my fertile time 😏🥴😬😂😂 Good luck and make sure he doesn’t fall asleep early! Ha x

He's had a nap this evening so he has no excuse lol, it's so glamorous this ttc malarkey we are lucky we don't have the co sleeping to contend with but we still have to find ways to get a moment to ourselves, last month we shut ourselves in the bathroom for 10mins claiming we were fixing a tap! The kids didn't bat an eyelid lol 😆 xx

@Fluffy38never used that before, are they clearblue ovulation tests? Doesn’t that still mean you’ve not ovulated yet but are about to? Means you still have time ?! xx

Yep the clear blue kits, when you get a static smiley face it means your egg is about to release so you have 24-36 hours to get the swimmers. I'd like to hope we can get a session in tonight but I'll be working until 10pm!! I think we may have been a little to relaxed this month lol xx

I Don’t envy you with having to tackle your long hair that was supposed to say! 🤣

Lol, mines naturally quite straight so it's not so bad, iv never done botox either the thought of needles near my face freaks me out and I have like 20 tattoos lmao I'd be so worried it went wrong or with my luck I'd have a dodgy reaction and look like the dude from the goonies haha 😄 xx

BabyBorn · 26/03/2025 15:20

I don’t even you with having to tackle your long hair 😬😂 I don’t do mine myself, I go to the hairdresser every 9 ish weeks and have a semi permanent on it and a little trim. I have thick hair so couldn’t have it too long as it takes ages to blow dry and straighten as it is 😬😂 mines long than shoulder length and I go through phases of having it longer, since I’ve had my little girl nearly 3 years ago I feel like I don’t have time to do as much as I used to and can’t be bothered either 😂 I’ve never had Botox or anything like that but maybe I will try it in another 5 years or so! Ha ha.

God I used to have lashes for years. I stopped having them done when I found out I was pregnant with my nearly 3 year old as didn’t want to get the glue in my eyes etc. Took me a very long time to get used to myself without them and I hated it for ages! That’s why I wouldn’t get them done again. Too time consuming and I’m in another place now. I’ve had my nails done every month since 2016 🥴🥴 it’s the only thing that bothers me the most. Can’t not have them done. I love neat and tidy painted nails. I can go without getting my hair done for ages 😂😂 nails, no. 🙄😬

Oh god my hair well 90% of the time it's tied right back because of work ( senior carer) so I don't have to do to much with it but it takes forever to colour it because its so long both my daughter and i have bum length hair and I hate having it trimmed lol. I had it cut to jaw length about 15yrs ago and cried for 2 days with regret lol 😆 xx

Claws 😂😂 they looks lovely. I have monthly nails too 😆 I’m going to go to the Works. I didn’t even think of there and got 3 books for £20 in WH Smith 🥴 xx

The works do alot of boxed sets on the spicy books lol, I never used to worry about my nails but last year I started having them done and caved in and had Lashes too and I wouldn't not have them done now I feel so much more confident in my self now which sounds silly but I feel more feminine lol xx
