I tested early on my two pregnancies before and had two successful pregnancies then I had an early miscarriage and a chemical miscarriage last year and I was trying my hardest not to test early because of the heartbreak I experienced from the last two times. I’ve been trying this month and hoping I get a positive next month but I don’t know how I am going to stop myself from testing early, I worry so much after having the miscarriages anyone else finding it hard not to test so early x

Thanks @LaTable.. I think according to my LMP I am 6 weeks today. My booking appt in next Tuesday! How are you?

LaTable · 30/06/2025 12:47

Good luck on the booking app tomorrow @curliegirlie
Hope things are going well still!

Also hope things are sticking as they should be for you @Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate, when's your first app?

@Laria19and fingers crossed all is well this week with your anatomy scan!

LaTable · 18/06/2025 21:58

@LucyLou0527
Any luck this cycle?
Have you had your app with the specialists yet?

How is everybody else doing? 😊

It is really exciting/nervewracking! I got a call from the screening midwives earlier this morning to ask me to call them next week to arrange a scan before they do the NIPT (so they can ensure they’ve got the dates right) so I’ll definitely be getting at least one scan before my holiday, although will be completely bricking it!

We’re off to Tenerife for 10 days. So again I don’t get to do the Mt Teide cable car….(last time we went I was pregnant with DD2)

Typical about the cable car!
But will be worth missing out in about 8 more months 😆 Will the rest of the family go on? Are you going to tell the girls why you won't be able to?

Hopefully the heat won't be unbearable for you in tenerife.
It's been averaging about 33 here the past handful of days and already I'm over it. I swear I'm running like a furnace lately. Need to get the pool cleaned ASAP because I cannot handle the next 3 months like a literal beached whale 😅

Laria19 · 14/06/2025 21:16

So glad to see all of the positive tests, hope you girls are keeping well 😊

AF due yesterday.. did the digital this morning!

Yay! Fantastic news 😊

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 14/06/2025 11:14

Never done a digital before.. I think i probably only peed on 2 sticks when I was pregnant with my son and was satisfied with that 🤣 now just deciding when to fill out my self referral form!

LaTable · 14/06/2025 11:07

Beautiful! You must be thrilled !

Yeah, they’re meant to be 10miu for 1-2 weeks, so the same sensitivity as the strip tests. And next Thursday should be good for the 2-3, as you should be around 160miu. Good luck!

EmPeEf · 13/06/2025 15:20

I’d put money on a digital showing up. I got a 1-2 weeks only 18 hours after a stark white BFN and super faint on a cheapy.

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 13/06/2025 14:56

It was on Wednesday at 8dpo with a 10miu (Wondfo) test...

curliegirlie · 13/06/2025 13:31

When did you get your first BFP and with what sensitivity of test? You can use that to work out when you’d likely get 153miu needed for 2-3!

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 13/06/2025 12:29

Aw thanks @EmPeEf

AF due today, tests getting darker by the day! Not sure whether to do my digital tomorrow, Sunday or Monday! How is everyone? X

That's really exciting! Hopefully before you head away, are you a bundle of nerves for it?
Where are you heading on the 24?

curliegirlie · 11/06/2025 22:20

LaTable · 11/06/2025 15:44

Ye, I've always read that to take the peak as the first positive opk and work from there. But I guess everybody is different in how long they peak for and how long it could take to ov after.
Whichever way, its worked for you @Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate!
When do you get your results from bloods?

How are you feeling @curliegirlie , you're coming up to week 7 yes?

Yes, I’m 6+4. I actually chased up the MW for my booking in appt today (and to ask about NIPT - she contacted screening and they said yes!). I’m now booked in for 1st July and hoping I can get my scan before we go away on the 24th 🤞

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 11/06/2025 08:43

Sorry, didn't want to bombard!! Clearblue and boots test are this morning, along with the bottom of the three cheap ones! 9dpo this morning. AF due Friday.

We love seeing positive tests 😄

LaTable · 11/06/2025 16:21

Why did I think you were getting bloods done? 😂 gosh I would actually lose my head...
Yea I'd take peak as cd13 probably ov 14 which would make your test a 9dpo?
wait wait wait. I've just had a look at the dates, even if your peak was cd 14 I'd count today as 10dpo? And if peak was cd 13 you'd be 11dpo today. Those lines are spot on compared to my 11dpo tests.
At least that's how I've always counted dpo and what I've read online 😅 all hail the accuracy of what the Internet says eh 😂😂

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 11/06/2025 15:49

I'm not having any bloods yet if you mean me? Ok so the first positive would have been the day before on the Sunday?

LaTable · 11/06/2025 15:44

curliegirlie · 11/06/2025 12:30

Your first positive OPK was on the 13th, so ov day could have been the 14th. Not that it really matters, but it explains how you’ve got such an early BFP 😁

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 11/06/2025 11:01

These were my OPK's, then had definite cramping on the 2nd, which was Monday (didn't log any on the Sunday though)...

curliegirlie · 11/06/2025 10:45

That’s amazing for 9dpo! I wonder if your dates are a day or so out? I mistook my 9dpo BFP for an indent. Even the pregnancy test check AI thing didn’t recognise it as a line 🤣

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 11/06/2025 09:55

Will test again on Friday!! Fingers crossed for a sticky one this time 🥰
