I tested early on my two pregnancies before and had two successful pregnancies then I had an early miscarriage and a chemical miscarriage last year and I was trying my hardest not to test early because of the heartbreak I experienced from the last two times. I’ve been trying this month and hoping I get a positive next month but I don’t know how I am going to stop myself from testing early, I worry so much after having the miscarriages anyone else finding it hard not to test so early x

Annie is starting to stand on her own! (And climbs absolutely everything gaaahh) hope all you ladies and babies are doing well! ❤️

LaTable · 26/06/2026 15:19

So she finally went to sleep at 10pm last night, and then by some miracle only woke up the once? My boobs are still recovering from the lack of draining haha
And she's napped well today. I have no hope of it occurring again but I'll take what I can get. And prepare for another battle of sleeping tonight .
Ye the hubby does need to pull his finger out but he is an old grumpy man these past year so eh.
Oh bless , @Laria19 they're so cute when they're stuck 😅 the bad sleep is so hard, particularly because you're other two are still very young too. Do they go to school yet?
Also yay @curliegirliefor freya rolling over properly now! Also I don't know how you do the bring her up with you, I need that little bit of time to just sit without something wriggling all over me haha
Annie has started cruising and just wants to walk everywhere. Also flops back and forth like a washing machine while feeding or sleeping so that's fun. I literally do not know where she gets the energy from. Freaking love her, but that 7-11pm shift is dire.

curliegirlie · 26/06/2026 13:32

The being super strict about her sleeping on her back days are well and truly over now she’s properly rolling. Obviously I put her to sleep on her back during day time naps, but at night, even on the occasions when I’m good and manage to get her into the Snuzpod, if she wakes she will roll to snuggle in with me…

I don’t do bedtimes as such with Freya as we just bring her upstairs when we go to bed, sometimes she’s asleep by then, sometimes she’ll need another feed before drifting off. She wakes 2 or 3 times during the night, but usually falls back to sleep again pretty quickly after her feed. Sometimes she’ll struggle to find my nipple though because she’s half asleep. So not too bad really. Sorry you’re struggling LaTable.

Laria19 · 25/06/2026 23:36

So sorry to hear your having a hard time with your little one 😭my girl has an irregular sleep pattern, sometimes she can get a good stretch of sleep before she needs a feed and then other nights she’s up a few times. Rolling on her front and then crying because she’s half asleep and can’t roll back over 🫠we’ve had to bring her into our room some because she also likes to wake up at 5/6 sometimes. You are definitely not alone mamma, I also want to tear my hair out sometimes 😅Also tell your husband to get his finger out of his bum😑

Anybody else losing their every loving mind because they have a baby that does. Not. Effing. sleep.

She was up until midnight last night. Then up at 1. 2. 3. And ready for the day at 4.
I'm now two hours into getting her to sleep and I swear I'm going to rip my hair out.
And of course the husband can't cook anymore? Don't know when that happened but now he waits until I've put the baby to bed and I'm like k. Cool. Thanks. I'll cook our dinner too now shall I? But really glad you've watched tv for 3 bloody hours while Annie's been screaming her head off and I've been back and forth bouncing rocking boobing shushing etc etc 🙃 okay
Rant over. You'll find me also not sleeping on the yoga ball with a broken back.

curliegirlie · 11/05/2026 22:33

In retrospect I’m not 100% sure if the rolling was deliberate (possibly happy coincidence), but we’ll see…

LaTable · 11/05/2026 21:35

Hahaha its the 3rd baby syndrome being a bit crazy!

Freya is absolutely beautiful isn't she!
Look at those chunky little arms and cheeks 😍
Well done for ger rolling over! It never gets less exciting all the first milestones 😊

curliegirlie · 07/05/2026 20:13

Freya is now 13 weeks. This evening she’s done nothing but feed and complain/wake up if I attempt to put her in her Moses basket. I think she must be working on a growth spurt! In general, she’s a very smily little girl, loves her sisters, has a very strong neck/head and is clearly desperate to be on the move! She may have rolled over for the first time today 🫣

@LaTable she is sooooo cute 🥰our little ones are around the same age. Blair is starting solids too and she’s as mad as a brush 😂

LaTable · 06/05/2026 21:08

Solids have started over here, sleep is getting worse, and she's getting madder and madder everyday that she can't move independently yet 😂
Everybody else still thriving?

@Creepyoctopuscan't believe you read the whole thing! Hopefully wherever you are in your journey things are going well 🥰
@curliegirliehow did the school drop off go ?! I've been doing it for a few months now and unfortunately little Annie falls asleep every dammit time 5 minutes before I stop the car on the way there and on the way back 🫠 but then she's had too much sleep to go to bed but not enough to not be grumpy all day
Did you take all three out into London solo?! Well done you! Trying to wrangle them on the tube I can only imagine is lots of fun 😅

curliegirlie · 14/04/2026 10:14

@ChocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolateFreya is obviously very far away from ridiculously unique, so I feel fairly safe disclosing it. It was on our list for DD1 nearly 11 years ago, so I wondered if its popularity would have waned in the interim (there are currently around 9 billion Freyas at Brownies!). However, I bumped into a school mum last week who has a new 4 week old…you guessed it, another Freya! So I guess she’s going to experience what all the Sarahs and Beckys did in our generation 😂

curliegirlie · 14/04/2026 10:09

@LaTableabsolutely agree that time goes faster each time, but that’s also a symptom of getting older I’m sure!

Freya’s doing well - weight-wise she’s down a percentile, but as long as she keeps tracking that I’m happy. She seems to have gone off left boob though, so looks like I’m destined to remain lopsided 🤪 (Probably a vicious cycle of it producing less, so she gets frustrated, so I go to righty because it’s easier, so left produces less etc). She LOVES her sisters and they really know how to make her smile 🥰.

We’re venturing out into London to visit my work colleagues now, so a little adventure for us. I was very proud of myself for us making it out for the 10am train. Mind you, the shit gets real tomorrow, as DD2 has a school trip and has to be in early, so I’ll be doing my first morning school run with DD1 😱 (I think school would take a dim view of her being booked into breakfast club, because they worry that her doing wrap around confuses her about boundaries around how she behaves around school. Frustrating, but it is what it is….).

Creepyoctopus · 11/04/2026 21:18

I just read this whole thread as at first I didn’t realise it was from 2025, and I must say I think this has been the most happiest heartwarming thread I’ve ever read I’m so glad you all got a happy ending

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 09/04/2026 18:13

Haha I think that's expected! Baby brain will be my excuse for years! It's shocking how quick they grow isn't it 😭 i think you're right about subsequent babies.. probably because we dont have the time to just sit down and relax and soak it all up like with the first baby. As soon as the baby is asleep the older one(s) want attention! Ahh his name is ridiculously unique that I don't want to say incase someone I know sees it! X

LaTable · 09/04/2026 17:08

Re read now I wasn't trying to do 10 things at once and saw he needed help with his breathing!
Silly me
Honestly I'm surprised I can function, my brain is a big old pile of mush at the minute 😅
What did you name him?

LaTable · 09/04/2026 16:28

Just coming up to 5 months. I feel like it's going faster than ever with each subsequent child, absolutely not fair on my mama heart!
She's getting little handprints on mirrors lately and I'm sure it was the other day that both the big two were doing the same
So glad he is out of the nicu and doing so well!
What happened? If you don't mind me asking x

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 09/04/2026 15:15

Just had to Google reverse cycling! How old is she now?

Little one is good. Spent his first week in NICU in an incubator having help with his breathing, but you would never guess so now at 9 weeks. He's a beast 💪🏻

LaTable · 09/04/2026 10:54

Bloody exhausted! Haha little miss Annie still doesn't sleep during the day, even less so with her sisters on half terms and now sleeps even less in the night, and now we're reverse cycling with feeds too 🫠
Bloody cute though and I want to eat her up!
How is your little boy @Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate?

Has freya stayed putting on weight @curliegirlie?

Chocolateeggsarebetterthannormalchocolate · 08/04/2026 11:12

All good here @LaTableI didn't answer last time as was readjusting to life with a newborn! How are you?

Laria19 · 08/04/2026 10:55

How is everybody getting on?

LaTable · 25/02/2026 13:15

Oh she's so close! You're doing amazing getting her top ups and fed through the night. To get her to that weight with all the other stress you've had to go through with her and having other children is bloody hard
Annie has her 2nd vaccines tomorrow. Dreading it, she screamed all day (even more than normal) on the last dose. Had to get my earplugs put to take the edge off 🤣

curliegirlie · 23/02/2026 22:24

She varies. I’d say about 50% of the time she wakes about 3 or 4 (having had a feed around midnight), but other times she’s slept through until 5 or later. I’ve been setting an alarm for 3 or 4 the past few nights (depending on whether she’s last fed 12 or 1) and sometimes she’s really hard to wake. Freya’s last weigh in was Friday - 3950 - she’s nearly up to birth weight of 4030g and we’ve been discharged from MWs, so that’s great. I just hope it continues!

LaTable · 23/02/2026 19:46

She sleeps a little too well at night then? @curliegirlie?
I feel for you with the combi feeding and the stress of it.
I wanted to with my first but I just couldn't get any milk out at all when I was expressing, no matter what I used or did.
What weight us freya now? When was her last weigh in

I've got one that is constantly touching, cuddling or up in Annie's face and another who may as well be on a different planet half the time. She might occasionally give her a little wave or a head tap like a dog but that's about it!
Makes me all the more sure she's got some sort of divergent thing going on in that brain of hers
