OPK's are ovulation prediction kits - you can get them from most supermarket / pharmacists and they're normally in the section with the Home Pregnancy Tests (HPTs). hope that helps!

your gp may refer you earlier because of your age, and angus castus is a vvv powerful herb, it can over-stimulate your ovaries hth

I don't think your time is up at all but you should be referred to a gynae for further evaluation now given your history. Please speak to your GP if you haven't done so already, it may be that you are not ovulating regularly.

Would not self medicate with AC; if there were any underlying hormonal imbalances present this will not help. If you wanted to continue using this please seek out a properly qualified medical herbalist instead.

I just wanted to say you're not on your own. I have a lovely nearly 2 year old and we have been trying for another baby for almost a year, during which time I have been pregnant but it was ectopic and now I am under orders not to try again until July.

Trying to conceive is just plain frustrating.

One thing I think has helped me relax a bit (which I started doing before the ectopic, so I believe it was helpful) is to try to deal with the bits about my daughter's birth that made me upset. It was pretty traumatic, so there was quite a lot. It sounds a bit hippy, but I felt that my fear of giving birth was stopping me from conceiving IYSWIM. You might think I am totally mental, but whatever helps hey? Reflexology and acupuncture can also be helpful with the staying relaxed side of things. I believe people when they say stress is not conducive to conceiving - well it certainly isn't for me!

have you been to your doc, they may run bloods on you now.

Sorry to hear of your miscarriages. I haven't experienced M/c (yet) so can't imagine how you feel but I am the same age with a ds of nearly 2 and have just started trying (couple of months) - I'm fed up after 2/3 months of trying - I just want it to happen !....I am temping (and on the TEMPING BUDDIES 12 THREAD) however and have found it interesting that I don't always ovulate quite when I thought I did which saves a bit of time and concentrates the time of the month when you should get down to it. I also use OPK's. Some on our thread are using reflexology and acupuncture. How quickly did you conceive DD??....There isn't really much else I can say but the Temping Thread is very supportive. Although am rubbish at taking my own advice, most doctors simply say you need a lot of well timed sex - a lot of us just don't do it enough (my case !!)... Do you have a copy of the Toni Weschler book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" - that is also very helpful
