But...okay, here's why I'm freaking out. You said you worked on The Word in 94? How long were you there? Do you remember a boy who drank his own puke - think it was 95??? If you were behind the scenes you might've known that he was actually a twin and that originally he and his brother wanted to drink one another's vomit, but the producers said no because of health and safety issues. Well, my DH is the twin who didnt make it on the show (thank god! )

yarnie I totally understand how you feel about telling - it's such a personal thing. I had had two early scans at the EPU - the first because I asked the nurse at the GP if some weird cramping was normal and she sent me off right away to have a scan to rule out an ectopic. When I got there, there wasn't much to see because it was so early on (I was 5w3d according to my LMP, but they said it all measured 4w3d - which I thought was likely considering I don't O until around CD18). They had me come back two weeks later for a viability scan and at that point we saw a heartbeat, which gave me the courage to tell some people.

Brightside glad to hear you're relieved about AF. Just had a look at your chart, so you've just had two days of spotting and have previously had four? That's a pretty good result! I've also been drinking raspberry leaf tea this month, but forgot to bring some with me.

Lottie I'm not exactly in 'NYC' My parents live about 60 miles outside the city, so I'm here on Long Island. Poured down all day yesterday but lovely today.

My temps are being a bit weird. Have all been 'post-O' temps for me, but I'm a bit jetlagged and keep waking at 5am or so. Yesterday I woke up at 6:20am and took my temp - it was 36.51, but I had been feeling really hot. Turned on the ceiling fan and woke up again at 7am and took my temp again - 36.47, I think. But I don't think either is very reliable. This morning I woke up at 5am and had to go to the bathroom - didn't think there was any way I could possibly hold it - I think I took my temp then, but don't remember as I was half asleep. Took it when I woke up at 7 and it was 36.44. Went back to sleep and woke up at 8:30, so I figured that was after 3 hours sleep (from 5am) and took temp again - this time 36.35. So, needless to say I'm all confused! I'm sure I'll have another similar temp tomorrow, which means FF will give me an ov date of CD16 - I just don't know if it's reliable, so I might stop temping after that. I don't have sore breasts like I usually do after O, and my CM was watery on CD16 and has gotten progressively creamier. Sorry for all the TMI, but I'm thoroughly confused! And I guess it doesn't really matter anyway. We BD'd as best we can and nothing can be changed now!

Sorry I was quiet yesterday, had an awful day at work including a 5 hour video conference. You can only look at yourself on screen for so long before going crazy

My temps are still high but AF is definitely on its way - some spotting yesterday and heavier today. A bit of a relief!

LBOT I started taking Raspberry Leaf extract - which is meant to help prevent spotting and is meant to 'tone' the uterus after a mc (In the same way that it tones the uterus in preperation for the birth). I do think it has made a big difference.

Yarnie Good luck on getting that planning application permission! I hope that the pregnancy sinks in - I know what you mean about no symptoms, I also remember the surreal first weeks. Would you consider getting a re-assurance scan before your 12 week?

Hi everyone.

Sorry for my brief absence. I had a ton of drawings to revise for our planning application and was under time pressure.

LBOT It hasn't sunk in at all, really. I think my complete lack of symptoms except sore (.)(.) makes it quite unreal. It also makes me feel a bit edgy. At this rate, I would welcome MS . Booking in and scan time is such a long way off. We haven't told anyone and have decided not to until we're out of the first trimester. I've weighed it up and although 12 weeks is not some magic time point, it will give us time to get used to the idea, especially as I don't feel pg. Also, if the worst did happen, I can choose to tell those people whose support I want.

Really hope you ov'd at the optimum time. How's it looking today?

Brightside That's good that you don't have any spotting, even if you think you ov'd on CD19. Any sign of AF today, or is it still looking good?

OMG, our little thread nearly disappeared off the page! Okay, so this mornign I had what's for me a post-O temp, but I'm not sure if it has to do with travelling or not. I could've o'd yesterday which would've been ideal, but my CM feels like it's approaching O...I think. I'm really bad a determining the different types because i don't have much to begin with. But I do have more than normal. I didn't take that OPK yesterday in the end because I figured it didn't really matter, so all very curious now!

Brightside sorry there's no chance but good to hear about the no spotting!! That's fab. Have you been doing anything that might prevent it? Is it the reflexology?

Yarnie how are you feeling? Is it sinking in yet? Have you told anyone?

I hope you get a positive OPK today but even if you only ovulate in the next few days - you still stand a good chance. Are you going anywhere fun (i.e to take your mind off the 2ww?)

Great minds think alike - I also think that I ovulated around CD19 (makes sense as the temps rise again slightly, the first temp rise could be from the medication & the stress could have delayed ovulation.)

It means I would be around 11dpo and my period would be due in the next 2 or 3 days. Still surprised there is no spotting yet - but that is good news!

Sadly - I had already told myself that there was no chance this month, but realising that I probably ovulated on 19DPO means that there is definitely no chance AT ALL. Makes me realise I was clinging to wild hope there

Had another look at your chart. Maybe you ov'd around CD19? I guess that would make more sense especially since you had another day of EWCM. I guess time will tell!

RE: morning action - to be honest, I would've rather have been sleeping I know that sounds so horrible! But the truth is, we had an amazing time last night and this morning I think it was pretty obvious for both of us that we were doing it because we 'had to'

And, nope, no positive OPK yet. I'll take one this evening, but that's it, I'm not doing any while I'm away.

My temp is back up today - I will pay more attention when I see what my temp is tomorrow. I am starting to think I ovulated late...which would mean AF should start in the next 3 days maybe? Who knows.

I am well and rested after reflexology last night...my reflexologist is leaving the area though - so I have to find a new one!

Well done on your morning Action! I always think it sounds like a good idea but end up desperate for a few minutes more of sleep.

So we managed to get a morning shag in - but seriously, we haven't done that in about 6 years or so! hard to get up that early and be passionate! Now let's just hope I ovulate in the next day or two!

lastbox good approach - sorting out your cycle first! Hopefully the rest will follow. Good luck with Preseed. The US board that I sometimes lurk on is full of preseed success stories.

i tried that last month and I think it did help a little, but I decided to focus on sorting out my cycle, thinking that the EW will follow. And maybe it will...I'm just getting impatient because I wanted to ovulate early this month and I'm thinking now that it's not likely. Although I suppose it could still happen. I have one preseed thingy left, so if I get a positive OPK today, then we'll use it tonight - if not then tomorrow AM. If I ov on CD18 as usual, then we'll be two days out with preseed and that's the best we can do.

I normally get small amounts of EWCM and then two or three days of quite good EWCM that stops immediatly after ovulation - this month though, the EWCM never really got heavy.

Your chart looks good and I can see that the temps are higher. Do you drink Green Tea? Apparently that can help EWCM...as well as drinking Grapefruit juice?

Hmm, I guess the temp spike could be due to the meds. It's hard to tell, but all of the temps since CD15 are higher than the 'pre-O' temps. did you have proper EWCM? I think I must mentally discount EWCM as a sign even on other people's charts because mine is so hit and miss and I have a really hard time identifying it. I've only had copious EWCM (sorry for that visual!) the cycle I got pregnant.

I'm taking 800mg of the AC - one 400mg capsule in the morning and one at night. Check out my chart. The four cycles since the mc, my temps seemed to be mostly in the 36.1 and lower range. This month they seem to hover between 36.1 and 36.3. Now if I could only get my EWCM on track. EPO doesn't seem to do anything for me, I'm trying Royal Jelly but only started it about a week ago. Think I might move on to Omega 3-6-9 for next cycle.

I normaly ovulate on about day 17 - although after starting Vit B6, ovulation moved to CD16 last cycle - so I guess CD15 is a possibility this cyle - the CM confused me I thought EWCM normally ends after Ovulation?

Also - the temp spike on CD16 was the day after I had the mole removed and I wondered if the local anaesthetic or stress could have affected my temps?

I have always spotted for a few days before AF starts...it has been especially bad since the miscarriage. I started taking Raspberry Leaf Extract as it is meant to help. Perhaps my period will start in the next day or two, without any spotting (Which would be good news) - although a good 'exploration' didn't find any spotting...only tiny bits of EWCM (of the joys of being anonomous on here - I could never admit to rummaging for CM in RL!! )

I am pleased that AC seems to be having some effect. I have heard great things about it - what dose are you on? I wasn't going to take it but if my cycles are going to go AWOL again....I might follow your lead

Brightside I think you definitely ovulated on CD15 - the biphasic pattern is pretty clear. But I agree that your temps look a bit low now - interesting that you havne't hand any spotting, though. Do you usually have it or was last cycle just a fluke? I can't tell if the AC is doing anything this cycle, but my pre-O temps are definitely higher than they have been. They look most like my second cycle off BCP - and I got pregnant on the third! so here's hoping that they're headed back towards normalcy!

I would by lying if I said that the thought wasn't crossed my mind (Er...constantly!)

To be honest - we didn't have sex at the right time this month - I had that mole out a few days before I was due to ovulate and was then 'out of action' for 2 weeks. My temps were all over the place and didn't correlate with my CM so I am really not sure when I ovulated. With the stress & antibiotics (The wound got slightly infected) I just think my cycle is messed up. I also don't have any symptoms - PMS or Pregnancy!

My temps seem pretty low for the last few days - indicating that my period is on its way. I did a pregnancy test this morning (I have reflexology tonight and know you can't have it if pregnant) and got a very definite negative!!

I am off to Fertilityfriend to try and work out how to link to my chart.

And seeing I've been roused - long overdue congrats to MM Minxi and Yarnie - hope you are all keeping well!

Lottie - your consultant story has moved me out of lurkdom again.

The "everyone has a 14 day LP" is a bit - but seems to be something they are taught. I'm a lot more worried that he wants to give drugs and do surgery on a woman who shows no sign of not ovulating, having PCOS or endometriosis (I'm pretty sure that's the case, regular cycles, no pain? right?).

Have you had all your hormones tested, an ultrasound or an HSG - all good, non-invasive diagnostic techniques?

Have you searched MN to find temp'ers on Chlomid to see how reliable his claim that "take it day 2-6, ov. day 13" is - sounds to me he is using to make you BD 14 days before the end of your cycle - when you ovulate already as far as he is concerned.

Obviously his medical training has been a little more intense than mine . I just know that you and your DH seem to mirror me and mine and this approach seems so much more invasive than my consultant has taken - though of course, I'm still not pregnant, so perhaps it is me that should re-think

Hi Everyone, just been lurking and couldn't leave without responding to Lottie - I had a laparoscopy to diagnose my endometriosis and it's a pretty minor op - I was in and out in an afternoon and pretty much recovered within a couple of days. They were then able to pinpoint where my endo was and how bad it was and we were able to move forward from there. It certainly helped diagnose my condition for which I was very grateful. Feel free to ask me anything about the procedure.

Big wave to everyone else - nausea has progressed to actual vomiting and I'm constantly in need of sleep but apart from that I'm fine!
