Thanks fym, I've not seen that book. I started temping after an ectopic a couple of years ago and was warned that I needed to be know immediately when I next became pregnant, so as to keep an eye on things. I've never specifially tried to find out about the mysteries and marvels of temping (the hoo-har is a revelation ) as most of my cycles are usually a very regular 32 days.

Hey-ho, I suppose I must just wait and see and try to relax a little, the two things I'm worst at in the world.

Thanks again.

Hello ladies, sorry to barge in but please may I ask you a (very silly) question? Other than orally or via "the hoo-har method" is there any other way of taking your temperature? My mum suggested putting the thermometer in my armpit... I can't take it reliably orally as I think I tend to sleep with my mouth open () and I'd rather not go the hoo-har route again as it's such a pain to hide it from DH - he knows I temp, that's fine, I'd just rather spare him the details if I can , plus he thinks I am a mental person already so I don't want to make it worse when he finds out what I have been doing with my thermometer! .
Thank you in advance for your help, Kate

SparklyPilaPala · 14/05/2008 20:53

herbgarden It seems so silly to test when I've already had AF and haven't OV. If I wasn't temping I wouldn't be worried about what was going on (as much as I love obsessing!).

herbgarden · 14/05/2008 19:48

sparkly save your digi CB - I gave up last month testing and just waited for AF to arrive (as usual!)....you eventually know one way or another (unless you really can't wait of course!)

Hi all nothing exciting happening here, am waiting for temp drop and to get dh in the sack lots this weekend !! [ wink] Am also hoo har temping and have noticed my temps are def about 0.5 degrees higher...weird isn't it

SparklyPilaPala · 14/05/2008 13:05

Fym Thanks. No i'm temping as normal .
Would be typical of me to OV twice in one month and still not get pg!! I have 1 more CB digi upstairs. Do you think I should sit it out for another couple of days?

fym · 14/05/2008 13:02

I'd try another pregnancy test just in case... your temp hasn't gone under the coverline apart from CD9 which isn't normal.

you're not hoo-har temping this month are you?(does increase temps by 0.5 degree aparrently...)

That temp rise at 9dpo in the previous chart could have been OV? I think you can ovulate twice in a month but its fairly rare...

SparklyPilaPala · 14/05/2008 12:50

Hello wise ladies,
I hope you don't mind me butting in. I'm so confused about my chart. My temp appeared to drop below last month's coverline for the first time yday and then shot back up. Do you think I could have had a CP/the weather is increasing my temp/i'm just weird? . I got a BFN a few days a go (which I was expecting)..
Any thoughts would be much appreciated. My chart is here

chart what do you think - I think I'm heading for temp drop and AF....

fym · 14/05/2008 09:49

very very PMT this morning, shouting at DH, weepy, - not a good sign! yet my temps looking good....

Morning girls...temp drop for me - have put the highs back in with the monitor which shows I ovulated on cd26 so best stick with that as have no idea and there is no way I would get to be 14 DPO without a sign... so back to 7DPO strange cycles last couple of months, but hey ho what will be will be !
Hope everyone alright

nina2 it is possible for ovulation to 'stop' due to stress, so you can get all the signs then it dosn't happen. There is an example in the tcoyf book but I can't see one on the website. Do you have this book
