Minxi I'm so sorry I know the frustration. And like Yarnie said, maybe it is best to forget about it all for a while. Take care of yourself and if you need to talk we'll all be right here.

Lottie Taking your temp BEFORE you go to bed!?!? What's the point in that I wouldn't count you out yet either! Keep us updated!

I'm being so good - wanted a latte this morning so badly and I resisted! THen I got into work and went to get my cottage cheese out of the fridge and found that someone was storing their chocolate on top of it! Cruel!!!

Yarnie · 12/06/2008 09:20

Just thought I'd add, more evidence from my temps that there'll be no BFP this month. Last cycle (I only temped from about CD20) I got a little plateau for three days at c.36.7 before my temp zig zagged a bit and then dropped before AF. I'm following the same pattern this cycle.

Lottie - Well, let's just wait and see. It's not over yet. Maybe you'll get a nice surprise

Yarnie · 12/06/2008 09:17

Really sorry about that Minxi Maybe taking a step away from temping is the right thing to do. I can see that watching your body do its thing under a microscope can be quite stressful, which is no good for ttc. Stay in happy oblivion for a while and you'll probably get your BFP without even trying Don't go too far away, though

Morning girls, have taken my name off the list as am back to cd1 today..and am giving up! I'm upset but need to forget temping etc.....and hopefully it will happen but I need to chill... I will lurk and hopefully see bfp's. Thank you for all your support x

Hi everyone - had a job finding the list of temps there's been so much chat on here . Minxi and Lottie keeping my fingers x'd for you! Squack/Sork well done on keepiing up the temping - I'm sure I'd have dumped the thermometer by now!

Hi to everyone else

Ready · 11/06/2008 16:55

Lottie Holiday was amazing!! 5* luxury and worth every penny!!
It's good to hear you are relaxed... and have a plan of action. A friend of mine is just undergoing IVF via the NHS, and she was amazed at how quick everything happened, so things don't always have to take a long time - but if you expect a long wait, then it can only be pleasantly quicker I guess
Well, I am due next week... timing was perfect for our holiday and we gave it our best shot ... I think to be honest, if we don't conceive this month, then we will probably take a break and just accept the fact that it isn't going to happen naturally for us - because we couldn't have done more this cycle (if you catch my drift ) and then get the ball rolling for assistance. I have just started my new job, and want to settle in a bit there before I run off and start fertility treatment.

Sorry for the waffle

PS Excited to see this thread moving a bit!

lastboxoftampons · 11/06/2008 16:16

Yes, not getting excited here.

And I've worried about self-induced cervix bleeding myself! Decided I'm having none of that this cycle, though. I'm not going to worry about my CM or complete lack thereof - I have preseed and if I need it, I'll use it! Hoping that's me relaxing enough to not scare my body so much it refuses to make ANY EWCM. Doesn't matter anyway, we've got builders in for the next 8 weeks, so I'm sure I'll get PG - happens on Grand Designs all the time!

Ready · 11/06/2008 16:16

Afternoon ladies...

Thanks for thinking of me Minxi, I am indeed back from hols... totally relaxed.

I see that there are a couple of reasons to be hopeful on this here thread - very exciting!!

So what's been happening??

Yarnie · 11/06/2008 16:12

You guys are making me feel all emotional. You're so funny and sweet. Hang on...is that a symptom?!

LOL I'm a cervix rummager too!

When I realised it was staying high, I rustled about up there every morning LOL.

Well if there's nothing there now I wouldn't expect to see any tonight

This is super exciting, the threads been very quiet lately.

Not enough rummaging that's what it is!!

Yarnie · 11/06/2008 15:47

Lottie I hope AF stays away. I think we need to keep up the BFP momentum, so you'd be helping us out

I just wrote out a long post in response to you saying you felt like a failure as it brought a tear to my eye. I'm not going to post it though, because I don't want to appear condescending, particularly given I am a lowly first time first cycle ttcer. The crux of it, though, was to remember that despite our emotional investment in this whole process, try to hang on to the fact that a huuuuggggeeee part of this lark is a numbers "game" - even under the shadow of fertility issues. A bit of tenacity and the odds are very good that you'll get there in the end. You have been diligent and sensible in your approach to ttc and should in no way feel like a failure. Your time will come.

Lottie has anything materialised yet?

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 14:48

Ooh sounds hopeful. I've been running to the toilet convinced it's going to come away, only to get there and have looser stools but not 'runny', it accompanied by a wind-like cramping too. Don't think it's anything i've eaten because it's been like this for a week.

Could be fab news at the weekend then, finally!

minxi · 11/06/2008 14:39

Oh my god...just been for lunch round a friends.... ten minutes later had to run to the loo..still have the loose stools! Lottie Squack* I am waiting because I know the disappointment I will feel.... and if it is Sunday and still no af then it might make a special Fathers Day surprise....

sorkycake · 11/06/2008 12:13

Saturday/sunday bloody hell! Surely not Minxi!!
