LBOT I'm sorry things are so random for you at the moment. I hope that GP has some useful suggestions for you. Hope you get to him sooner rather than later, too

My LP is usually 14 days. I say "usually", but I have only been charting for one and half cycles and this one isn't over yet, so it's possible I am not as regular as I think I am, IYSWIM.

Unless I am deluding myself, my cycle is always 27 days and I usually get AF in the morning, after I have been up a short while. I was up at 6 this morning and still no AF. I also have a reasonable amount of wet cm (can't remember whether that is "normal" or not) and no spotting at all, which is not usual. I am very aware that I spent a fair degree of this cycle freaking out about an important project deadline, so this could have thrown my cycle off.

If I can remember to retain my FMU and I still don't have AF in the morning, I'll test.

Yarnie, how long is your usual LP? Chart still looks good IMO

I don't have ANY idea about what's going on with me. Today I have spotting Have made an appointment to see the GP for Friday morning, but will try to get in tomorrow AM instead.

Yarnie · 18/06/2008 06:32

Well, an inconclusive chart from me this morning. My temp fell 0.01, which is not much, but still a fall. If it wasn't the fact that the temps are quite a bit lower than my c.10DPO temps, I'd get a bit excited. Will be knicker checking all day.

Sorry to be all about me.

How's everyone else doing this morning?

lottie going back to your question a couple of days ago...
you are right
primary infertility is when a couple are trying for their first pregnancy.
secondary infertility is when a couple have conceived previously (but could be miscarriages, eptopic etc as well as full term bouncing babies) but are struggling to conceive again.

My DH's results improved drastically between first and second test (still totally rubbish but 100% improvement) because not as nervous that time IMO.

I know what you mean, can you really put a price on these things. Lets face it if it works it only costs the money you would have spent on a couple of really nice holidays that you won't be taking with baby anyway!!

sorkycake · 17/06/2008 20:10

ooh, citing

yes FR 1st.

then wait a day or 2 if you aren't sure before using the cb. Though if you are the FR will pick it up I promise ya!

good luck!

Yarnie · 17/06/2008 16:00

Only joshing . I'll go with the Sorky-approved FR!

lastboxoftampons · 17/06/2008 15:43

Hmmm, I think that would be a waste of a test. If it's negative, you'll want to have another so that you can do it all over again when your period doesn't show. If it's positive you'll want to have another so that you have a second one as proof Peeing on a stick twice is better than doing it just once!

Yarnie · 17/06/2008 15:23

I could wee on both simultaneously and see what happens

lastboxoftampons · 17/06/2008 15:15

I have a feeling Sorky would recommend the FR I dont' have experience of either. When I did get a BFP, I was a day late and used a Sainsbury's own.

Yarnie · 17/06/2008 14:54

Despite my raised hopes, I just have a feeling this isn't my month, so won't bother wasting a test. If AF doesn't come tomorrow, I'll test on Thursday morning as my mum is in town and I was planning on having a couple of glasses of wine with her, so it would be good to know whether I should skip them!

I have a FR and a CB in the cupboard (not digis). Anyone have any recommendations which I should use if it came to it?

lastboxoftampons · 17/06/2008 14:47

Oooooh, when are you testing Yarnie???

Yarnie · 17/06/2008 14:41

That is odd, LBOT... Maybe your thermometer is on the blink. Can't think why your temp would change in such a short space of time, unless the stress of seeing such a freakishly low temp sent your body temp up?!

Implantation, eh? I can't imagine I'd be so lucky. The spotting was only visible after what Sorky calls "rooting around"! It was pale pink, I suppose. Just had another "check" and could only find a tiny little pink blemish in my CM.

My hopes have been momentarily raised as usually I get brownish cm before AF and it kind of colours all my cm. I also tend to get it two days before AF, but assuming I'm as regular as always, the spotting only showed up today.

Lottie What are your herbs meant to do for you?

lastboxoftampons · 17/06/2008 12:30

Thanks, Lottie. SIL found out she was pregnant right around when I miscarried, and she offered her CB digis - DH keeps going on about them, but I told him I didn't think we had an issue with timing things, I've always thought our non-success (don't want to call it failure!) is because of my LP. Hmm..maybe I'll give her a call.

Yarnie, your chart looks very interesting. Not to get your hopes up, but that could be an implantation dip, especially followed by the spotting. Is it alot? Is it red?

I don't know what's going on with my temps. I woke up at normal time this morning and my temp was 35.92, which is so low! So I immediately took it again and it went up to 35.98. I know you're not supposed to take your temp twice in a row, but surely it woudln't go any higher than my actual body temp? I think there might be something wrong with my thermometer!

Morning all

Temp bounced back a little this morning, but not to the nice high temps of before, so I'm braced for AF tomorrow. Actually feel completely ok and looking forward to the next cycle

lastboxoftampons · 16/06/2008 12:54

I have a question for Lottie when you pop in next!

You mentioned last week that your temps take a while to rise post-ovulation. How did you figure out that you were a slow-riser? In looking at my charts, I think maybe I do ovulate earlier than FF says sometimes, although my CM seems to coincide with FF's ov date. But I never really have a lot of CM so I never feel that it's a reliable indicator for me. If I do ov earlier than CD18, that makes a world of difference for my LP... Thanks!

Hope everyone is well on here.

Missmodular · 16/06/2008 10:14

LBOT my circled temps were only about half an hour later in the morning, and Sorky I'm fairly sure it was genuine EWCM on the days I've marked. So gawd knows when I ovulated. I'm not too fussed really - both days are covered . Thanks for your input!!!

Yarnie I'm sure you were more days ahead of me CD wise - aren't you about CD25?

Suspect I slept with my mouth open last night I think cutting out the caffeine is really working for me this month CM-wise. I'm only on CD9 and already feel, um, damper

MissM Have to agree with Sorky on your chart. Did you wake up late or early where the open circles are?

MissM it's due to unreliable 3 temps around O and the fact you have registered EWCM after possible O which would suggest you were fertile after you originally thought you O'd.

Did you have sex the night before the ewcm on day 15? If you did then it could be possible that it's not been true ewcm, but rather a mixture of sex fluids iyswim. It often looks the same.

Yarnie · 16/06/2008 06:25

Missmodular I can't help with your chart I'm afraid. I still find them a little mistifying. I think I'd be a little put out if FF started moving things about!

Big temp drop from me today, so AF very much on its way
