Yarnie as much as I'd hate for you to leave us for that big BFP in the sky - you HAVE to test! You're 13dpo even if you go with FF late Ov and that's a reliable test date!!!!

Oh Yarnie you have to test...I had constipation and sore back - TEST!!!

Yarnie · 16/07/2008 08:53

I don't really have any AF symptoms which is unusual even if AF was due on Friday. I thought I had some spotting 3 days ago, but looking at my FF notes, I can see I wasn't sure whether it was brown or yellow. There's been no sign of spotting since. I have quite a lot of cm which is slightly stringy and slightly yellow. I have also had sore (.)(.) and constipation which is very unusual for me, although I am not troubled by either today. I am very tempted to test with SMU. What do you reckon?

Another high temp this morning. It is the highest temp I have recorded. I wish I'd used opks this month, then I would know whether I was late or not. AF due this am if I ov'd on the usual day. I've just got to try & bury my head in the sand until Saturday

How is everyone this morning?

I don't know for sure when I ov'd on that half cycle, I just assumed CD13. Thanks LBOT! You have given me a little bit of hope!

lastboxoftampons · 15/07/2008 11:54

No, it looks normal for that half cycle you charted - do you even know what day you ovulated that cycle??? This month you've been steadily increasing. Anyway, we all know that individual temps - whether higher or lower than normal don't mean much...so we'll just have to wait and see! But my fingers are still crossed for you!

Lovely name Brightside It's so nice to see you so happy!!!

Yarnie · 15/07/2008 11:50

Excitement over. I've just pinned my chart at the ov date FF gave me and the temp looks frankly normal.

See

Like your new name BrightSide!

Hi all,

It is NotSoNew here - I decided a name-change was in order as NotSoNewAnymore was sounding a little jaded & negative (I thought...) so onto a bright & positive name!

I am doing great today (Albeit a teensey weensey bit hungover from the bottle of champagne I polished off last night).

yarnie ...your chart looks really good - my fingers are crossed for you! (Can we bug you into testing any earlier than Saturday? Not sure if our nerves can take the wait )

Morning ladies.

Oooh, Yarnie looking good! In your previous cycles, your temp started to drop by now! and was that one instance of spotting? Implantation? fingers crossed for you!!!!

Yarnie · 15/07/2008 10:45

Lottie I'm not tempted to test until Saturday when I'll be late for both of my possible AF days. I was informally monitoring cm and I'm pretty sure I had EWCM coinciding with oving on CD13. I didn't really check cm after CD13, as I had assumed I'd ov'd. No OPKs this time around.

Morning all. How are we all?

I got a "possibly triphasic" and a high temp today, but I'm not going to get too excited, given that I don't know exactly when I ovulated (although I still maintain it was CD13 with a slow rise). Here's my chart.

I guess I'm just going to have to wait and see.

How are you feeling today, NSNA? Light as a feather, I bet!

Thanks...I am so pleased. When I saw the doctor's number flash on my mobile, I knew that it was either VERY bad or VERY good. There was that split second of - 'should I answer that?'

Am very pleased he was wrong - a little that he was so certain he was right in the first place and made it into such a big deal...although if it had been bad news, at least I would have known that he took it seriously from the beginning.

When did I ovulate? My temps rose dramatically from CD15 (normally O on 16 or 17) but have had some EWCM right up until yesterday (CD21)...think that this month is a write-off anyway! (And for once, I don't mind!!)

lottie love the story about your DP dangling the baby above the pond. Very Michael-Jackson!

Some-one also told me I would hate maternity leave (Babies are sooooo boring, said she who has two adorable little baby boys!)

lastboxoftampons · 14/07/2008 15:50

Oh, NSNA!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you! That's wonderful news!

So, come on then, where's your chart!

Yarnie · 14/07/2008 15:38

NSNA BRILLIANT news! Don't you just love it when doctors are wrong (in a good way)! So pleased for you!

My doctor just called me, he wanted to let me know the good news -

IT IS NOT MALIGNANT

I am from ear to ear with relief.

Now back to the REAL priorities in life. When did I ovulate and who is getting a BFP next on this thread?

Oops, sorry, I didnt' notice the + OPK. I agree with the 20th in that case. How long are your cycles normally?

cece · 14/07/2008 13:49

Discarded temp on CD 22 as I had had less than 3 hours continuous sleep due to DS playing musical beds... In fact I might even have forgotten to take my thermometer with me to his bed

lastboxoftampons · 14/07/2008 13:44

Mmmmm, all lovely thoughts, Lottie And then the next day we'll meet in Ruskin Park and go on and on about how wonderful our LO's sleep

Maybe I'm being naive, but I really think we'll be just fine. DH has a really good sense of what's dangerous/acceptable play for a little one - good for a man to have that covered I think! - and I can get her kid bathed and dressed quicker and quieter than she can!

Hmmm...I'd be more inclined to think CD22 actually. Why did you discard that temp, Cece?

NSNA I was with my SIL yesterday and she was about a month behind me - she's really popped this past week and it made me sad to look at her although they've really been brilliant about everything.

Lottie I've told some of my girlfriends, mostly in the States, but we haven't told any of our 'couple' friends here in the UK. The girl who was complaining about getting pregnant so quickly - well, I guess that's just the way she is really. Like I said their DS was a nightmare to conceive, but then as soon as she was pregnant, she was complaining about that. Then she had a horrible birth, and after that he didn't sleep very well. He was born in November, so she complained about being stuck in the house over the winter with a newborn and how she couldn't wait to go back to work. She actually only took 6 months maternity leave. She's actually told me that I'll "hate" maternity leave. I've had to say um, no, actually, I think I'll really love it. I guess I wouldn't really know what it was like to have a baby, sometimes makes me think I'm in for a huge shock - but really I think I have a better handle on it than she does!
