Hi everyone
moving over to March now as AF has arrived today. That means my last cycle was 26 days. My cycles haven’t been the same since being on the depo injection. I’ve had 33, 28, 31, 29, 21 lol. As long as I ovulate then I’m happy.

Is temperature the only way to know if you have actually ovulated?

@Pleasestopjumpingonthesofa Yes sorry I wrote a little misleading, my BBT rised right after a dip ☺️ But not high enough yet for the LH rise.
I just documented every temp and let chat gpt analyse it, it said that my estrogen-levels might got higher yesterday and ovulation is on its way. I'm only on my third cycle BBT tho so very much a newbie still and is open to learn!🥰

@littlefox90 I like BBT, I started right away mid cycle and I love to compare my BBT to last cycle and learn about my body more. Still trying to figure it all out tho! 🥰

Pleasestopjumpingonthesofa · 21/02/2025 19:25

@BerrieSweet I'm curious, I thought a dip in temperature indicated ovulation on its way rather than a rise? Or does yours tend to rise a bit before that?

@littlefox90 I find BBT pretty easy! I think it must be a lot harder if you don't have regular sleep patterns (another child, nights, etc) but I just have the thermometer on my bedside table and it's the first thing I do on waking. You can start whenever, the bit just before and just after ovulation are the important days but it's helpful to get into the habit so you could start now. It only really indicates ovulation HAS (likely) happened rather than is/is (likely) about to happen so is different from OPK that way.

Also so with you on the flipping between being hopeful and utterly sure it's not happened. I've already started and I'm not even definitely post ovulation yet 🙄(it's today, I think, but not sure)

littlefox90 · 21/02/2025 18:20

Ahhh I hate the TWW.. I change between thinking I'm out and then thinking oh that might be a symptom so then thinking I still have a chance.

I caved today and did a test at 7dpo obviously BFN as too early and wasn't even FMU so really don't know why I did it 🤣

Been trying to keep busy though and removed all my blinds today to wash them in the bath and clean the windows lmao. Have a night tomorrow and Sunday night at work so hopefully that'll keep my mind off it.

Temp rised today so I think ovulation is on its way, I predict I get a blinking smiley tomorrow. Someone else at CD10 or soon to ovulate? :)

I'm a bit ahead at 7dpo but do you mind me asking if you find BBT easy to do? I bought a thermometer but haven't started using it yet, do you start from CD1 or any day?

Hi all, moving over from the Feb thread as AF arrived this morning. This will be cycle number 4 TTC baby no 2. Wishing everyone who's testing all the best!

@Shellbells44 im so sorry for your loss!! I had my twinnies at 24 weeks and they died 3 days old and 7 days old, so can understand how you feel!
hopefully you get pregnant soon and have a successful pregnancy, I can’t even imagine how I’m going to feel once I’m pregnant again, It will be a whole other rollercoaster of emotions I’m sure!

I am so so sorry for your loss. How horrific for you all. I hope you get your rainbow soon, I really do. Sending lots of love and baby dust ❤️

Hi welcome, I'm sorry to hear about your loss 💔 wishing you all the best for this month and lots of baby dust.

I think I'm out this month, only 6dpo but I just have a feeling. I ovulated late which I know isn't good plus had flashing smileys for about 10 days before ovulation so estrogen was probably high which I googled isn't helpful for conception either 😣

Thank you for your kind words! Baby dust for you too! I am 4DPO so not far behind you x

carolinep3 · 20/02/2025 18:08

@littlefox depends how late. Ovulation cd14-18 is optimal for fertility as long as your luteal phase is steady.

CD 24 😣 and luteal phase averages at 10 days so is also a bit short.

Hi ladies, moving over here from the Feb thread as AF showed! Still awhile before ovulation so just enjoying the calm!

Can you bottle some of your calm and send it this way please. I'm feeling impatient for ovulation 😂. Still over a week to go! Don't know how I'm gonna get through the tww when this part of the cycle is already dragging

Hello All, just joining in on the chat! TTC number 2. It’s been a rough journey so far. Was pregnant last year after TTC for 18 months but lost the baby at 19 weeks. Just starting to try again. These mumsnet groups were so comforting when we were TTC knowing that I wasn’t alone in struggling! so will be wishing you all lot of luck for this month xx

Got to wait 2-4 weeks for my microbiome test results and then if something is found antibiotics will take 3 month ish to make difference to egg quality etc. don't think it is going to be worth tracking loads for a while here 😢😢😢😩😭

Is that gut microbiome @carolinep3 ? that sounds interesting thing to do for health generally even if frustrating to have to wait for results etc xx

Pleasestopjumpingonthesofa · 19/02/2025 18:45

@cltw slightly similar here, ovulation expected anywhere from 21st-25th sort of window (I've only tracked one month with BBT so far, doing OPK and BBT this month but premom is wildly changing its predictions constantly as there's not enough data yet!). But then period due 8th so testing would likely be a similar sort of time to you.

I'm all over the place emotionally today about it all, not quite sure why...ended up on a thread where someone was buying baby clothes and I got all hopeful but this evening I'm feeling like it obviously won't happen this month (it's only cycle 3 of trying). Got a library book and chocolate as distraction!

littlefox90 · 19/02/2025 15:09

littlefox90 · 19/02/2025 00:49

Anyone have any idea why LH is staying slightly elevated this month?

I've added my chart with previous two months and also a pic of this month 🤔

Has bottomed out today at 0.06 🤔 maybe just an odd month

cltw · 19/02/2025 15:07

FINALLY got my second LH surge yesterday, so hoping to ovulate in the next couple of days. Then will likely be testing 7th-10th March if I can hold out that long. Anyone else on a similar timeline? I have no tests in the house this month so hopefully that means I don't break early lol

Saying this, every time I think I have the dates figured out it does something else anyway
