Hi everyone
moving over to March now as AF has arrived today. That means my last cycle was 26 days. My cycles haven’t been the same since being on the depo injection. I’ve had 33, 28, 31, 29, 21 lol. As long as I ovulate then I’m happy.

Is temperature the only way to know if you have actually ovulated?

I’m really confused and wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else. I felt really weird on Thursday which was CD7, that evening I took an OPK (much earlier than I normally would) and it was positive, so I took a pregnancy test and had a faint line - I then took 3 different branded tests and all were positive.
I tested at the GP on CD8 and it was negative, but I was still getting positives at home.
I’ve tested again now and still getting positives!

The tests aren’t getting any darker or lighter but I defo had a period, it was a normal heavy period! Is this a chemical pregnancy?? So confused!!

That is really really confusing. Your poor mind must be scrambled! But I agree, it's gonna be a waiting game isn't it. Have you got more tests at home? I'd be doing them everyday at this point I think 😂

I'm really sorry I have no idea, this sounds so confusing. Did you do urine test at doctors or blood test?

I suppose it's a really annoying wait and see situation?

Morning all, some of you might remember me from the Oct/Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb threads (i’ve been here a while) 😅 I was a bit quiet the past month as I found TTC was making me really anxious and stressed and also putting a lot of pressure on my marriage - my poor DH!

I had fertility tests booked in this month as we’d been trying for 7 months without a sniff of a BFP and had technically been DTD unprotected for a year.

I tested yesterday to confirm it was negative again before paying for the fertility appointment and I was so shocked to finally see a BFP! 💕 so I just wanted to come on here to hopefully reassure some of you that feel like it’s never going to happen - because I really thought it was never going to happen for us. I could tell you to stay strong and be positive but I know that’s impossible sometimes and it feels like the world is against you, but these threads have been such an amazing support for me and I’m sure they are for you too.

I did a few things differently this month so i’ll never know what actually made the difference… and I know it’s hard when you feel like you’re just doing everything you can and nothing is working, but keep going and keep doing things you enjoy as the TTC journey can be so tough ❤️ hope you all get your BFPs soon x

Huge congratulations 🥰🥰 hope you have a smooth pregnancy and wishing you all the best!!

Hi all, I am in the right place if we're going to start trying this month? I'm ovulating at the moment, but cos of timings with holidays, we're waiting until my next period to start. Should be around 15th march. So ovulating with TTC end of march. Is it ok if I join? Or should I wait for the April one? 😊

Everyone is welcome you may pick up some tips and tricks 😊

SureLook · 28/02/2025 16:50

Hi @Thomsonetthompson sorry for your loss. It's so hard.
I tentatively joined this thread after an MMC in January. I passed some myself on 30th January then had a D&C on 4th February where they removed the rest. I just this morning got my period back so that was around four weeks from when I passed some myself and just over three weeks from my D&C. I would have been fairly regular before. What are your cycles normally like?

jelliebean9 · 28/02/2025 16:49

Thomsonetthompson · 28/02/2025 11:28

Hi, I was on the first Feb thread, got a positive and now back after a miscarriage at 7 weeks.

I have to test next week to check it's totally negative and then I can start tracking ovulation again. It's my first miscarriage so absolutely no idea what to expect. I've read cycles can go really long or really short straight after.

I'm so sorry to read this 😔 sending a virtual hug and hand hold xxxx

Yeah cycles can be a little muddled for a bit while hormones get back to normal.

@Wishbone2023 hopefully the TWW isn't too long for you ❤️ I definitely find it the worst part! Sending baby dust, I hope you get your BFP at the end of it

littlefox90 · 27/02/2025 22:04

@AlbatrossSociety I don't think so, also if you have your solid today your two most fertile days are today and tomorrow so your definitely not out. Especially if you have been dancing every few days anyway. Sending baby dust 💕

littlefox90 · 26/02/2025 23:19

I had the same thing this cycle. It finally dropped at 6dpo and AF arrived as normal. Not sure what caused it. I'm the same as you though, peak and then drop right down to 0.0 something

Thank you for relating ❤️

I’ve finally dropped back down to baseline today, 5dpo! And so continues the agonising TWW…

AlbatrossSociety · 27/02/2025 20:30

littlefox90 · 27/02/2025 20:25

@AlbatrossSociety was it a flashing smile or a solid. Flashing is coming soon and solid is that your peak is now.

It was solid!

Do you think being ill at the same time as the peak would negatively impact chances this month?

littlefox90 · 27/02/2025 20:25

@Wishbone2023 Welcome! Unfortunately can give absolutely no insight as to premom numbers, haven't done that myself yet. Our bodies just love doing weird things just when we think we've got a handle on it don't they!

So I did an opk for the first time this morning with a clear blue one and got a smiley face... I'm CD14 and didn't think I'd ovulate until CD19 based on my last 2 cycles. The smiley face means it's coming soon right? It's not really a problem as we've been dtd every other day anyway but I'm confused!!

Also I have conjunctivitis which is really bloody annoying and my temperature was slightly raised last night but I think that's due to the illness rather than anything to do with ovulation. Does anyone know how likely that is to mess things up!?
