Hi everyone
moving over to March now as AF has arrived today. That means my last cycle was 26 days. My cycles haven’t been the same since being on the depo injection. I’ve had 33, 28, 31, 29, 21 lol. As long as I ovulate then I’m happy.

Is temperature the only way to know if you have actually ovulated?

So I've heard back from the GP and after he spoke to the fertility clinic they said that there is no evidence that progesterone lengthens luteal phase so won't prescribe. I've booked in for acupuncture. Any other tips?

Midnight00 · 07/03/2025 10:42

Is anyone ovulating now? I got a static smiley this morning earlier than previous cycles. Worried I've missed a day when we could have DTD. Will baby dance tonight and tomorrow and hopefully that's enough!

I'm gonna try and hold out for 12 or 13 DPO, my luteal phase has been 15 days last couple of cycles. I am debating just waiting to see if AF turns up but WHO AM I KIDDING. Am away this weekend so physically can't test until Monday.

@muddysocks1 any change in colour? Soreness? Never heard of flakey nipples being a sign but in my first pregnancy my nipples were one of the things I was most surprised by. They changed so much so early!!

Nope no other changes! Which suggests it is just random and unrelated I think

I’m on my 2nd month of TTC. Got pregnant with my daughter very easily and am convinced I won’t be able to get pregnant again. Trying to leave it up to Mother Nature and not get too consumed but it’s difficult! Can’t DTD every day due to my husband’s work so am hoping it’s been enough and can’t do much about it. How often do you all think you need to DTD over ovulation week? I’m using the clue app to track.

Every second day should cover you!

AlbatrossSociety · 06/03/2025 21:41

I get you, I also personally would rather get the negative and know that AF is coming, but I find when I test early I still get my hopes up as I think oh maybe it's just too early for the hcg to show up 🫠.

Don't think there's such a thing as tmi when ttc!! Was it asymptomatic?

carolinep3 · 06/03/2025 21:35

@AlbatrossSociety I never normally test early but really want to start thrush treatment (tmi) so think I might, also don't want to get my hopes up too much to be crushed again, plus I want to control when I get the negative, I can't keep getting it at work, I don't function well!
(Also it's my birthday on Monday 😬)

Whhyyy is the tww sooooo looooong. 7DPO tomorrow and honestly I feel like each day is a week. I have felt so enormously shattered today, think it might be a symptom then remember my daughter was up for 2 hrs in the middle of the night last night 🙃. Anyone else going to be testing next weekend?

7DPO here too!

very random but just noticed both my nipples are flaking - that has never happened before, a bit odd?! No idea if it’s a symptom or just totally random!

Forgot to add @carolinep3 - research seems to suggest it’s cleared up quickest if you do both clomitrazole and probiotics. Hope that helps!

That's @Miffy1994
I've been taking pro biotics for months, but might order some of these to use after I've finished my current ones.
I've had a vaginal
Microbiome which showed it, I have a consultation with the company hopefully soon and I've made an appointment with a doctor who specialises in microbiome, so will see what they advise. Then order the cream you suggested too. Thanks

Has anyone treated thrush whilst ttc?
I'm reading that clotrimazole is fine? Which canesten too, but in the box it says don't take if trying to conceive? NHS website says clotrimazole is fine though?
Confused

I has thrush last month (for the first time in years!) and ended up doing a lot of research to figure out what to do.
It affects the micro biome and therefore conception so no 1 priority is to get rid of it! The medications can also affect CM ph so it does throw ttc off a bit. I used the clomitrazole cream and pessary but didn’t find that they entirely got rid of it so also ordered some Florgynelle cream which is a probiotic cream with strains of bacteria know to kill it off. First time I’d used it but it cleared it all up in one and half days! I’m also now taking these probiotic suppliments to keep it at bay: bettervits.co.uk/products/intimate-probiotic

carolinep3 · 06/03/2025 13:29

I think I've tried every brand ever made over the years 😂 🙈 hate clueblue
Pink dye are definitely the best, and most accurate. They are on sale on Amazon at the moment actually, I just got two for about £9 I believe.

SureLook · 06/03/2025 11:37

@BerrieSweet is it a Clear Blue digital you're using? I wouldn't use the blue dye ones. They're useless!

@confusedmum25 I wouldn't use those Boots digital ones. They're also useless. Two tests showed negative for me while strip tests were blazing BFP. The reviews online are brutal, including one from me 😂 they shouldn't be sold anymore.

I use clearblue dye ones 🥹 thanks I will try another one when I test on Saturday 🙏🏼

MayaB · 06/03/2025 12:40

Big fat negative pregnancy test for me again 😥 I am a couple of days before my period due date and the test is early detection one so it must be right.

Sending hugs and baby dust to everyone 💞

@BerrieSweet I think it sounds like too long to be implantation. But of course always hope until cd1!
When I talked to a fertility expert about spotting and explaining I had spotting around implantation time which then slowed down and stopped, had 2 days ish of nothing then af, she said this sounded like failed implantation, like my body was trying to implant but it had failed. (Due to poor uterine lining potentially).
Whereas obviously very disappointing, at least of give you some insight to the fact the egg has likely been fertilised, which is one massive hurdle, it is just implantation which is having a harder time.

Thanks for input! Will have to look into that
