Hi everyone
moving over to March now as AF has arrived today. That means my last cycle was 26 days. My cycles haven’t been the same since being on the depo injection. I’ve had 33, 28, 31, 29, 21 lol. As long as I ovulate then I’m happy.

Is temperature the only way to know if you have actually ovulated?

@cacarolinep3 oooh I haven't, Ill buy it now 😊
I'll just add the q10 anyway then, can't see it doing any harm

Definitely recommend (and the book), but be careful which you buy. Some of the cheaper ones aren’t as good quality, and you want the right type of Coq10. I’ve been using this one: https://www.naturesbest.co.uk/co-q10/co-q10/ubiquinol-100mg/ it starts with the egg recommended 400mg but it’s quite pricey so I’m taking 200mg for now

Highly Absorbable Ubiquinol - 100mg

3-8 X more absorbable than conventional CoQ10Body-ready form for optimal absorption - backed by 70 years of researchBest form for over 50’s as levels significantly decline at this agePerfect partner to |Multi-Max® Man 50+//P475//class="f-brand !importa...

Hi everyone, hope you don’t mind me jumping on here? I’ve been ttc #2 for over a year now and no joy so I decided to try and track ovulation using test strips this month (I knew it likely wouldn’t be straight forward as I have pcos but I thought I’d give it a go anyways).
My cycles vary, no 2 months are the same and I truly have no idea when I am going to ovulate each month. However, the last 2 days I have been feeling cramps, I have gone off my food & my emotions are heightened.
I thought I had found my peak on CD 19 (Monday) as I got a ‘high’ result on the premom app and then my LH began to get lower each time I tested.
Last night I was feeling crampy on one side so decided to do another LH test just in case, and lo and behold, it had risen again. I didn’t get chance to take one today until later in the day because I’ve been flat out working but tonight it’s risen yet again to what it was last night. I’m so confused, is this normal for it to rise, drop and then rise again? Have I actually not peaked yet? We’ve BD every other day for the last week & I’m so over it at this point I’ll be honest 😆 But do you think we should continue to BD given these results ?? Sorry for the long winded message I tried to condense it as much as I could! Xx

Peak is normally a ratio of >1 so those tests would suggest you are maybe about to peak. I’d keep testing twice a day and hopefully you get your peak tomorrow! I would continue to BD but both times I’ve conceived we did 2 days before and O day so not essential to do it every day (but it does improve your chances)

I agree. I'm pretty sure my Flo app has mentioned double surges of LH. Basically means your first surge wasn't high enough to trigger the egg to release. So it surges again! Keep doing the test strips and I'm sorry, keep at the BDing 😂 ngl, that is the part I'm least looking forward to in a couple weeks. I cbaaaaaa 😂

@carolinep3 sorry I’m confused, what do you mean? Did my screenshot not attach? Or do you mean I should have kept the strips that I uploaded pics of to the app? X

Oh no sorry, your photo didn't come up for me first time I looked. Maybe failed ovulation first time and your body is trying again 🤷🏻‍♀️

carolinep3 · 07/03/2025 18:46

@minimims2 you can have multiple Lh surges, sometimes if there was a failed ovulation. Will need to see your strips to see if they were actually positive.

I caved and took a test earlier (8DPO), thought I could see a faint line whilst it was drying but when I looked again after it dried (had to go out!) it was stark white. So maybe just the dye settling rather than a whiff of a positive.

Try again in a few days hunny ❤️

BeSassyPanda · 07/03/2025 18:26

@Muddysocks1 i feel like I can see a vvvvfl line on both but i have major line eyes

BerrieSweet · 07/03/2025 18:25

Booked a fertility test today in end of mars, we can get it free in Sweden but the quene is long so I actually booked private. I hope we get somewhere doing this 🥹

SureLook · 07/03/2025 18:11

@F1boxbox I also found out that a colleague is pregnant today. We were actually pregnant together in December but she miscarried at about 5 weeks and I found out about my MMC in January. She got pregnant again straight away without waiting for her period whereas I wanted to wait for my period. I am genuinely delighted for her and it's actually made me excited about TTC. But I'm also dreading the unavoidable anxiety. I'll be a bag of nerves. It's a very hard time!

Sorry @Muddysocks1 I can't see a line x

littlefox90 · 07/03/2025 16:39

@carolinep3 ive bought some today. Plus there is a little in my conceive multi vitimins.
I get worried I'll be taking too much of something. I'm now on.

Asprin 75mg 4 times a week
Multi vitimin with folic acid
Magnesium+B6 supplement
Vit C 1000mg
Soya supplement

Did look at Q10 in the pharmacy but wasn't sure if i should add anything else 😂

CoQ10 has so many benefits, especially for egg quality. Have you read the book - it starts with the egg?

@Muddysocks1 oh that makes me feel better thank you! I've booked them in for multiple days next week so will go with the one closer to 7 days after ovulation - for me that will be 1 day before AF would normally be due but hopefully that won't affect anything

That’s a good idea! So hard to get the timing right particularly when it’s not an at home test. Costly but another option is buying some online and doing over a few days - but £30 a test (I did Superdrug’s) is adding up to a lot!

F1boxbox · 07/03/2025 16:47

I don't know how to feel...
found out today one of my co-worker is pregnant, I'm absolutely over the moon for her, she's amazing and I love her! Very close in work with her too. I'm 5DPO currently and I feel quiet down about it 😞
I did get worried when I was in my fertile window ( before ovulation) that I can't ovulate but I did and I was so happy but now that over I'm getting the same thoughts about what if I can't get pregnant 😭

This TWW is killing me 😂 we've been trying since December

B6 can help with the luteal phase, I've been taking it for about 10 weeks.

Nicolathecat · 07/03/2025 14:51

@AlbatrossSociety I am going to test next weekend too.
I'm maybe 6/7dpo. I'm sure I've got some symptoms.. Sore nipples, tired and in a bad mood! Who knows though maybe that's just me!

littlefox90 · 07/03/2025 14:22

sjwx · 07/03/2025 12:36

No tips from me but please share any you find out! I have an 8 day luteal phase which I'm convinced is too low as we're on month 5 TTC. I'm booked in for a 21 day progesterone blood test but that is going to be out of whack as it won't be day 21..

I will do. I've done a little research today and bought some vit C and a magnesium/b6 supplement too.

It definitely can hinder fertility as a short luteal phase can make it harder for implantation as the lining is thick enough to support it before shedding. I've had this issue since a MMC last June.

I think the advice is test 7 days after ovulation, not just day 21. I asked a fertility person on Instagram and she said do it between days 5-7. But definitely not just day 21 as that’s likely to be inaccurate ☺️

sjwx · 07/03/2025 12:36

littlefox90 · 07/03/2025 12:14

So I've heard back from the GP and after he spoke to the fertility clinic they said that there is no evidence that progesterone lengthens luteal phase so won't prescribe. I've booked in for acupuncture. Any other tips?

Nyxxie · 07/03/2025 12:30

Feeling sad as I'm 6DPO and unwell with a fever, and I've read that can having a fever can affect implantation.

I've just being taking paracetamol the past few days but ran out this morning and the fever was so high I had to take ibuprofen, which can also have a negative effect.

Feeling a bit hopeless for this month now :(

Is anyone ovulating now? I got a static smiley this morning earlier than previous cycles. Worried I've missed a day when we could have DTD. Will baby dance tonight and tomorrow and hopefully that's enough!

I use OPK strips and had my peak yesterday so should be ovulating around now 🙂 Plan to do the same as you!
