Hi everyone
moving over to March now as AF has arrived today. That means my last cycle was 26 days. My cycles haven’t been the same since being on the depo injection. I’ve had 33, 28, 31, 29, 21 lol. As long as I ovulate then I’m happy.

Is temperature the only way to know if you have actually ovulated?

Hi everyone, I’ve been quiet as I’ve been busy with football matches and parent evenings and my youngest was 2 yesterday lol. I’m on day 2 of my cycle now, due to ovulate around the 20th March now. Fingers crossed for all of us x

My son is also 2 this month! I actually think I recognise your user name from the due feb/march 23 thread😂😂

I've done the same, tested way too early, and thought was completely negative but now I'm starting at it from every angle thinking maybe I can see something?

This is my first month tracking BBT, I had my peak on CD18 (BBT 36.35), think I ovulated on CD19 (BBT 36.18) and today on CD20 my BBT is 36.65 - is this good or should it be higher? And how long should it stay up for?
I had what looks like a spike on CD16 but not sure why

Stays up until a day or so before your period I believe, I think the rise can be like .3c above follicular phase temps? So looks okay to me? But this is my first month tracking so I'm hardly an expert

It's your basal body temperature, I used a thermometer and believe it's meant to help confirm ovulation happened... but it's my first cycle using it and haven't a clue what's going on tbh 🤣

How do you measure your bbt? And what is it? 🫣

It’s hard because I read about how drinking in the luteal phase does affect likelihood of pregnancy and I quite want to have a drink tonight, I think that’s part of the reason for obsessive testing.

@Muddysocks1, there might be something there, it is still wet in the photo, did you let it dry and then look?

Yes I couldn’t really see when dry. I did another at lunchtime (as you do/shouldn’t🤣) and it’s similar. I think it’s just where the line would be/indent.

@minimims2 quite low LH for a peak but easily could have missed a peak over 1 given there was 20 hours gap between your CD22&23

update on my lh tests - this was from this morning, as you can see it’s dropped again. BD again last night, really hoping that yesterday was my real peak and lh stays down this time! X

Are you measuring BBT? That might help you pinpoint ovulation too. And checking for egg white CM

Me too - I think what I’m seeing is just the strip where the line would go, rather than any colour. Only 9dpo today so there’s still time 🤞🏻

I know shouldn’t test so early but then it feels like I’m actually doing something about it in a silly way?
