@CoolSummer89ahh that’s great news you had a positive retrieval. 2026 will be the year 🙌🏼🤍!!

@Danikihaha newborn forgetfulness is real, I won’t hold it against you 😂.
Nope still no date. I had my referral appointment though so should get it through soon hopefully.

The tiredness is hitting hard now at 36 weeks. Don’t know whether it’s being heavily pregnant, or my daughter being off pre-school to be honest 😂

@Daniki No idea! Spoke to someone at same hospital who was told they would initially have to wait until Feb after their failed transfer back in September! But then she got in touch again to say she was then offered November.
I started my period yesterday so let them know so I could be told next steps, but still haven't heard yet. Ideally I would like January so I can have a couple of drinks over Christmas...

Daniki · 29/10/2025 11:15

@CoolSummer89that’s great I’m glad you got good results! I had a freeze all too, and a lot of people reckon a frozen transfer yields better than a fresh. Plus your body has that time to recover from stims etc, do you know how long you have to wait for transfer? 🥰

@Marie1990x god I’m very forgetful these days to keep up 😂 how r ya getting on, any luck of getting a date yet? Bub is all congested now really hoping she doesn’t get a temp or anything 🙈

CoolSummer89 · 29/10/2025 11:04

Hi @Marie1990x and @Daniki hope you're both doing well and @Daniki congratulations on the birth of your baby girl.
Just popping in to say thank you much for all the IVF tips, I did my first egg retrieval last week and I'm really pleased with the results. I was on NMN for about 6 months, but then stopped during stims.
Who can say what impact it had, but the number of blastocysts I got really exceeded my expectations.
Have to do a freeze all because my hormone levels were off before collection, but now feeling hopeful for 2026.

Marie1990x · 20/10/2025 17:39

@Daniki yep definitely! Our lives just revolve around worrying about children now forever 😂.

That’s so good she’s a better sleeper; makes all the difference getting a good rest.

my daughters full of cold now which doesn’t help when I feel so crap, too pregnant for this 😂

OP posts:
Daniki · 19/10/2025 14:24

@Marie1990xita a constant worry isn’t it! Baby was always more active at night for me and in the hospital they’d do the ctg monitor in the mornings and you’d have the click the button at the movements and so many times I wouldn’t feel anything but you could see that the baby was really active on the screen!
god my boy wasn’t a so great sleeper but he suffered badly with reflux from the start so it was more likely due to that poor thing! Thank god none of that this time round 😅

Marie1990x · 14/10/2025 20:13

Spoke too soon, wild child is back in action in my tummy 😅

Marie1990x · 14/10/2025 19:48

@Daniki awww amazing little sleeper! I’ve heard a lot of people say girls sleep better than boys 😅. My daughter was a great sleeper from the get go so I’m dreading it this time round as I just expect all babies to sleep that well 😂.
That’s great that he’s loving being a big brother 🥰 bet it’s so sweet seeing them together. Can’t wait!
Yep I hope so. Every other thing that comes out of her mouth is what she’s going to do to help her baby brother. It’s sweet and hope it actually happens haha.

Baby’s been soooo active today and now suddenly stopped so starting to get anxious 🫣. Can’t win, when my ribs are being prodded and bouncing off my bladder I wish it was less, and now it is I wish it was more 😂

@Marie1990xjesus that would scare me a bit too that’s cutting it fine 😂 but look all will be fine, but I hope you get your date soon and can start counting down the days then! Great job, once the husband is in on the feeds at night it takes a lot of pressure off! We seem to be going through a cluster feeding stage from 6pm-10pm 😂 we eventualkt end up giving a bottle then in the end as she’s fussing on me so I’m wondering if she’s even getting milk at that stage 🫣 but she’ll sleep great then after that, my husband put her down at 11, I went to bed at half 10 and she slept until 5am and then slept again until 7am after a quick feed. Can’t complain with her sleeping anyway! 😂🥰 compared to my son, god he was never full and never slept 😂😂 he’s been great tho, they’re at a good age now to be helpers and he loves being one so I imagine your daughter will be the same!

Marie1990x · 13/10/2025 17:34

@Danikiamazing news! So glad you’re all settled in 🥰. Hahah I can imagine! And then with an older child to contend with on top of the night feeds, I’m a bit scared 😂.
Definitely good to have a decent block of sleep and share the load. I’ll be fully formula feeding, so my husband will have no choice but to do some night feeds 😂.

How are you recovering from the section? I’m getting nervous about the procedure now!

Nope still nothing! I’ll be 34 weeks this week but my midwife appointment isn’t until a week on Friday when I’ll be 35w! That’s when she’s sending the referral and should get a consultation appointment 5-7 days after that 🙄. Hoping I can get the date I want and it be confirmed soon, the thought of going into spontaneous labour without a solid date is petrifying me xx

OP posts:
Daniki · 13/10/2025 15:13

@Marie1990xall settled back at home thankfully! The night feeds, god you forget it all 😂 but she’s not too bad she’s back at her birth weight now so don’t have to wake her anymore, she usually does a good stretch at some point during the night, mg husband gives her a bottle of formula at night which gives me a block of sleep somewhere, he’s gone back to work today!

any word on section?! They’re leaving it close 🙈

Marie1990x · 03/10/2025 17:47

@Danikioh amazing 😍!! Are you all settled back at home now?
ueghh school/nursery bug season 😫😫 hope he’s okay!

the storm is over here now, I’m loving it to be fair. Love cosy season 😂.

I’m 32 weeks now. So should be around 7 weeks until my section, still waiting on the date 🙄 xx

Daniki · 03/10/2025 12:21

@Marie1990xdoing good, sleep can certainly do wonders for your mental health!😂 she’s feeding well now and almost back to birth weight! I’m breastfeeding her tho and now have thrush, it’s so painful! Waiting on script from doc. My son has the vomiting bug today so we’re all stuck together in the house as the storm is giving really bad from here shortly, really hope we have no power outages 😭 what week are you on now? 😍 xx

Marie1990x · 30/09/2025 14:59

@Daniki oh don’t apologise! Life is chaos with a newborn 😂. That’s great she’s doing so well 😊. How are you doing?
yeah all good here thanks! Feel like times gonna go suuuuper slow now xx

OP posts:
Daniki · 30/09/2025 10:42

@Marie1990xsorry iv been very lax on this! She is getting on good her levels have stayed down thankfully so she’s discharged from hosp officially! Just to have to keep flushing it out off her through her feeds but she’s feeding great and lots if wet and dirty nappies! How are you getting on? Xx

Marie1990x · 24/09/2025 19:42

@Daniki gosh would have expected a bit more curtesy from a medical professional with a new mum!
oh good glad she’s doing better and going in the right direction 😊 will be home before you know it! Yeah that’s a long round trip! Will all be worth it when you’re hopefully back tomorrow x

OP posts:
Daniki · 24/09/2025 17:52

@Marie1990xI know it was the way things were phrased to me, the lactation consultant was in today and was so lovely, made me feel better. She’s a lot better today her colour is so improved and her feeding, they set me up with a pump so can see exactly what she’s getting. She’s off the lights now, staying tonight again only because she needs her bloods redone again tomorrow so no point driving home 2 hours today and a 4hr round trip tomorrow 🙈 but god I can’t wait to be home 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Marie1990x · 24/09/2025 10:27

@Daniki oh no what an emotional rollercoaster! Please don’t feel like you’re a bad mum for that! That’s so bad that they’d said you’re not giving her enough, could have put it nicer! But as you know babies weights go up and down, she’ll be absolutely fine and hopefully you’ll be back come soon as.

awww bless him, that made me all emotional reading that 🥺 x

Daniki · 24/09/2025 00:03

@Marie1990xonot getting back now it’s been a really long day! We had her outpatient appointment today to check her jaundice levels and heel prick test, her levels have gone back up so she’s been admitted back into the hospital to go back under the lights, thank god I’m allowed with her! Cried the whole day thinking I’m a terrible mother as her weight dropped more and they said I wasn’t giving her enough formula even tho I’m breastfeeding for the most part 🙈 anywho in here now and they have me expressing so I’m measuring exactly what she’s getting and topping up with formula to be at what she needs, she looks extremely chilled out under there so hoping we get home tomorrow she’ll have a blood test at 7am 🤞🏻

My son is great with her, he was so upset this evening to come home and me and her been gone 🥺

Marie1990x · 23/09/2025 08:19

@Daniki haha must have needed it! Oh amazing that you’re home! Bet it feels so good to be in your own comforts rather than the hospital after so long.
great weight for her being early! Awww bet you’re all thrilled. How’s your son with her? X

OP posts:
Daniki · 22/09/2025 23:06

@Marie1990xgot some sleep Friday night it was well needed, the nurse said she couldn’t even wake me for the monitoring and meds, just found them all on the table when I woke the next morning 😂 Evie got out then sat to me to the ears and we got home Sunday! Haven’t slept properly since the great sleep but what do ya do it’s great to be home finally 🙌🏻😂 she was 6 pound 7 when she was born, not much less than my son born at full term! Xx

Marie1990x · 20/09/2025 07:46

@Daniki amazing news, so happy for you. How much did she weigh?

ah bless you, try get some rest (easier said than done). I can empathise with the whole NICU stay, you think you can have some rest but just want to be there all the time don’t you.

Arghhhh home time is in sight! You’ve spent enough time there you’ll have forgotten what your house looks like 😂.

OP posts:
Daniki · 19/09/2025 22:46

Thanks ladies! We’re both doing good, she got downgraded to the special care unit today and if her sugars remain stable tomorrow then she can be discharged from them and out to me, and we’ll hopefully both get home Sunday 🤞🏻 really hope she does and I can put this whole experience behind us 😂🙈 very sore this eve and stil haven’t slept so really hoping I sleep tonight 🤞🏻🫶🏻

whatdoyouthink123456 · 19/09/2025 08:24

@Daniki thats a lovely name 🥰 luckily my son doesn’t like peppa pig, so I didn’t even know they had a baby.

how is she doing? X

RRAEE · 19/09/2025 06:49
