Right, not going to test until AF due, not going to obsess over sore boobs, not going to think about baby names, not going to give up alcohol. Anyone want to join me in pretending to not obsess about symptoms/lack of?

Hello all! Good luck yellowflowers, if you got a faint line on 1st response you could well be onto something!!

Sorry to hear you are out 2BG and bamamama. I am sure I will be joining you soon for the due Feb 08 round (ding ding, c'mon girls). On CD25 today and could not resist doing HPT earlier, and natch, it was -ve. Well I am four days early and even with Clearblue (ooh, I gone all posh) it is only 53% correct at -4 days. I was sort of convincing myself I could see a verrry faint line but was just clutching at, er, HPT's, I guess!!! I'm just too impatient. Am now going to give myself a stern talk and make a decision not to test again until Saturday, which would be CD30. Those tests ain't cheap...

yellowflowers · 19/05/2008 13:03

well just did another first response - 3rd of day so silly me and bfn. will let you know. Have felt periody for last 4 days though.

2BG - sorry to hear you're out too. Blardy typical, to have to waste a hpt! (speaking as one who wasted 3!) Ah well, may see you on due Feb 09

yellowflowers - still looking good for you! We've got to have a least one bfp on this thread

yellowflowers · 19/05/2008 11:51

also this morning it was 2nd pee as was desperate but no tests so had to go to shops after pee, but didn't drink anything between 1st pee and 2nd pee so should be the same shouldn't it?

OP posts:
yellowflowers · 19/05/2008 11:49

Fingers crossed for you all.

Well if my period came on the day I think it did last month then I am now CD32. Cycles can be anything from 28-35 though last 4 months been 28. But last month period stopped and started quite a lot so I am not 100% sure which day I started.

Morning everyone, sorry about not being on over the weekend.
Sorry to hear AF came Bamamama Positive thinking is the key for next month

Still looking good for you yellowflowers What CD are you on now?

babyignoramus Fingers crossed for you.

Well AF came Yesterday morning for me. I'd just dipped the HPT in the pot and then looked down and well you know the rest!!! Typical if you want your period to start do a HPT. But not a normal Period, very light, no PMS or cramps?

Had a nice weekend with the DD's, hope everyone else had a good one too.

bamamama · 19/05/2008 11:19

I may be out of it for this month (CD3 today woohoo) - but good luck to everyone else who's on the dreaded 2ww (I have convinced myself I'm bound to be successful next month as it would mean that 3 out of 4 of us would have Feb birthdays....)

yellowflowers · 19/05/2008 10:52

yesterday afternoon I thought I had the faintest glimmer of a line on a first response test, as in so light I would have thought I imagined it except I did another one in same box with same wee and no line at all and there was a difference between the two, Today two tests - tescos own and first response, and both BFN, Still no AF though.

babyignoramus · 19/05/2008 08:39

Am on CD19 now, according to FF 10DPO so might test at the end of this week. I don't think we've done it, after all is first cycle of trying. Have been trying my best not to symptom spot as well....

yellowflowers · 18/05/2008 10:36

Where is everyone at?

Still no AF for me which makes me cycle day 30 but cycles have been as long as 35 in past so who knows. Have cold so whole body off balance so don;t knwo what is cold and what is other symptoms. eg feel thirsty and sick, but that is probably because I am bunged up.

OP posts:
bamamama · 17/05/2008 03:09

ah well, that's that. Af has arrived. Knew we wouldn't be that lucky first month of trying, just annoying that my cycle is all over the place!

have a good weekend everyone.

FruitynNutty · 16/05/2008 19:45

Yup bamamama it's is crap . One thing that's weird though is my temp went down yesterday when AF started but not below the coverline. Then this morning it shot right up again, very very very weird.

It went from 36.48 yesterday to 36.71 this morning. I'm sure it will go back down tomorrow but surely your temp should be going down at the beginning of a cycle? I think PCOS is playing games with me again

bamamama · 16/05/2008 17:15

fruitynutty - it's just crap isn't it.

still no af for me - cd32 now. Who knows, getting rather bored of this 2ww now! Tested this morning (don't tell dh as I said I wouldn't) but still BFN so unless af arrives I really am not going to poas until Monday.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

yellowflowers · 16/05/2008 16:08

I've just spent lots of money online buying bras. Surely now I will be pregnant so my boobs get bigger and bras don't fit.

OP posts:
babyignoramus · 16/05/2008 13:19

I've been having cramps and shooting pains around the cervix for the last couple of days but has subsided now. V. bloated too which is quite unusual (quite nice to have an excuse for looking chunky though!). No idea what any of that may mean, if anything!

2beautifulgirls · 16/05/2008 11:32

Morning yellowflowers Looking good for you apart from the stench

happynappies I convince myself every month aswell, but then still and try and tell myself no way so i am hopefully surprised when and if The 2WW seems like 2 months to me and probably to the DH aswell. I keep asking him do you think this is the month? Why does he think it is? Do my boobs look bigger etc etc!!

I don't think this month is our month, as my boobs have deflated and no longer sore unless i prod really hard stomach ache and back ache this morning plus a lot of CM (not sure if i had this last, oh i wish i knew how to search for last months thread)

How are you bamamama any more testing?

yellowflowers · 16/05/2008 10:48

How's everyone today? No AF or spotting yet but you know when you smell like you're coming on - a bit more earthy and womany - or is that way tmi?
Anyway, I feel like that.

happynappies · 15/05/2008 21:54

Hi 2beatiful girls - I have a dd who is just about 18 months old. Fell pg pretty much instantly last time, so keep telling myself it won't be the same this time - but despite that I've still managed to convince myself! Driving dh mad!!! One more week seems like the longest time! A friend of mine announced she was pg today - she's just had her 12 week scan. That seems such a long time... there's so many things to get through - actually getting pg, then all the worry/morning sickness etc... she's so lucky!

2beautifulgirls · 15/05/2008 18:08

Really sorry that AF came fruitynnutty And for you that the hospital have pushed your appointment back. Could you not give them a call and ask if they have any cancellations to get in touch?

Welcome happynappies and fingers crossed for you. Have you any other DC or will this be your first. It is so had not to Symptom spot on the 2WW. I can't remember how i felt last month, and i was convinced i was pregnant then

happynappies · 15/05/2008 15:22

Am so nervous about this... can I join you? I think I'm due to test on 22nd May - its our first month of ttc, and I think I ov'd on 8th May... I know you're not supposed to do this, but am symptom spotting like crazy and think I have convinced myself am pg - I hope I'm not in for huge disappointment. Good luck to everyone who is still on 2ww - and good luck to those who are trying again next month.

FruitynNutty · 15/05/2008 13:55

Well you can count me out now.
Just got AF this morning after 13 dpo. I suppose I should be over joyed that I managed to ovulate all by myself for the first time in 6 months (and probably much longer) but I cant help feeling extremely disappointed especially as I might not ovulate again for another 6 + months. We did everything at the right time too, it was perfect! I wouldnt mind if I got a bash at it every month like most people do but obviously I don't stand a hope in hell unless I ovulate. It's sh*t And to top it all off I just got a letter today from the hospital to say my baseline scan has been moved from 7th July to the 29th September. I'll probably have to wait another 6 months to see the Gynae as my August appointment will be pointless without the scan done. What a crock of poo

Good luck to the rest of you though!

2beautifulgirls · 15/05/2008 12:53

tousletop Sorry that AF got you, fingers crossed for next month

yellowflowers i'm also addicted to POAS even thou i know its too early Why do we put ourselves through it.
I really don't think we have GOF enough this month and at the right time so still do not know why i'm POAS at 10 DPO?

bamamama things are looking good for you When are you planning to test again?

Next month should be our last of trying as we are emigrating to America next year April - May time so wanted to give birth here before we go. Have managed to persuade DH to let us have 2 more months of ttc

bamamama · 15/05/2008 11:48

tousletop - sorry that af got you. They just don't tell you how difficult it is to get pregnant.

yellowflowers - it's so tempting to test isn't it? Even when you know it's too early.

Babyig - don't test early! It's just not worth it [she can talk emotion]

I've been tempted to test again all day so had to keep away from the shops. Still no sign of af although I have been crampy all afternoon so I expect it'll all be over by the morning. Still I did ping the button off my trousers when playing with ds this afternoon - it's a sign of something but I suspect it is telling me to cut down on cake rather than anything else!

yellowflowers · 15/05/2008 10:10

I did an early test yesterday - naughty I know. was a BFN. But was, if I am right, only 11DPO. Expecting AF any time between now and Mon/Tues...

OP posts:
tousletop · 15/05/2008 08:34

Af arrived this morning. Beginning to think that this is never going to happen after 6 months of trying , especially as we BD when OPK became positive, so must have been at the right time, surely...
