Right, not going to test until AF due, not going to obsess over sore boobs, not going to think about baby names, not going to give up alcohol. Anyone want to join me in pretending to not obsess about symptoms/lack of?

Actually ladies... I got a BFP last week That elusive AF turned out to be due to a little bean! Due February 09 (obviously, would hardly be Feb 08 )

Thought this thread had been abandoned but spotted it just now - so thought I would pop in to say that our thread has had a success!! Have name changed since as felt SweetieD/arling too obvious link to RL (I have now chosen something completely out of character to stop the paranoia!) but have resumed my old mantle just to pop in to say hi to you. I hope this starts a mexican wave of BFP's!

Yellowflowers I am still visualising you on the March 2009 threads. 2BG I sense you have a lovely nature and I'm sure you will have good news on the BFP front too before long.

I am wishing you all LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of luck and positive vibes and best wishes for BFP's for you all x x x

Wow, when do you get married Yellowflowers?
Would be a great wedding present
Good idea about not taking any tests and the wine. Where are you going?

yellowflowers · 31/05/2008 18:18

Ah well I was a week late this cycle so am now only CD 8 hence fertility friend saying BD (actually I prefer GOF) for ages, as may be 28 day cycle, may be 35. My plan is to GOF as much as poss from this midweek until June 15th or so. Will actually be on honeymoon at testing time and not going to take any tests with me so will just hope period doesn't come and test when I'm back if it hasn't. That was I can drink nice wine when we're away too as even if no period I wouldn't officially be pregnant!

Shall we start a list of when people are due AF/testing? Might help keep us on track

2BG AF due and testing June 15th (fathers day)Maybe i will have an extra gift this month

2beautifulgirls · 31/05/2008 14:09

Well i think i ov thursday from CM so GOF thursday and Friday might try again tonight just in case....CD14 today another 15 days until i can test

Determined not to test until Day AF due, maybe a bit tempting with the Gilzillion tests i have calling me upstairs....

Got a headache again today, had one all day Thursday Feel like i have a cold coming too.

yellowflowers good luck with the GOFing for the next 9 days!!!!! What CD are you today?

Fingers crossed for everyone else this month too. Lets make this thread a lucky one.

yellowflowers · 31/05/2008 10:52

Hey everyone, how's the BDing? My fertility friend chart says I have to do it for a whole 9 days! Bugger - really can't see that happening even every other day.

So no one got lucky on this two week wait then?

SweetieD · 23/05/2008 17:09

Hi yellowflowers. Sorry to hear no BFP this time round. Hope you have lots of luck and a positive result next time. I am sure you will do it. Am visualising the yellowflowers name on a "Due in March 2009" thread.

Well still no signs of anything here. No cramps, no spotting, no feeling sickly, no aversion to coffee. Perhaps I am not only not pg, I have suddenly gone to having no AF as well?? Haven't done any more HPTs mainly because I have used them all up with spurious random testing and can't be bothered to travel to Boots and buy some more. That's the trick to avoiding bfn's - just don't buy any tests!

I find I have obsessed with the HPTs cos I bought double packs. So if they're there, in volume, I use em! I'm going to wait until AF doesn't show (and is well overdue) before testing next time.

yellowflowers · 23/05/2008 14:09

Have started spotting which usually happens day or so before cycle which would ean this cycle a 35 day one. I did spot ewcm 14 days ago and was confused because had been expecting it 7 days earlier and thought I must have just missed it, so at least I was right about that and shows I am 14 days from ewcm to period. A pain though as have to do extra BDing for longer now as cycle length had been 28 days for four months but isnow clearly back to being a range. Sorry - no bfp for this threed from me! On plus side got two extra digital tests from clearblue as I bought a pack with one missing (shoplifters probs but called hotline anyway) so next month if I can wait I have proper top notch tests ready and waiting!

SweetieD · 22/05/2008 19:39

Hi all. Sorry to hear you got AF babyignoramous.

2BG - I don't think it'll happen! I am on cd28 today and no sign of AF. I did my last HPT yesterday (seemed rude to leave it on its own), a cheapie Tesco one, was BFN. So supposedly still in the running however I don't feel esp pg or PMT, had what I thought were cramps but turned out to be wind yesterday - had too many sweets in the afternoon - but back to normal today. I am now assuming I must be on a 30 or 32 day cycle. There's only one thing worse than getting AF... that's NOT getting AF without being pg!

Am going to buy on of those Persona thingies, whatever they are and however they work. All this talk on other threads of ov days on cd 23,25,4 of a 28 day cycle has given me the jitters. Really can't keep up BD EVERY OTHER DAY whether we feel like it or not for a WHOLE MONTH (or longer). I need my sleep and my nightly application of fake tan . Plus it gets boring

babyignoramus · 22/05/2008 17:51

AF is here. Probably TMI but it's the brightest pink I've ever seen!

babyignoramus · 22/05/2008 10:18

Assuming I'm on a 24 day cycle (with ov on day 9 I think it must be!), I'm due on Sat, but feeling very periody (is that a word...?). Headache & PMT yesterday, cramps and legs that feel like they're about to drop off today. Will let you know!

2beautifulgirls · 22/05/2008 09:55

morning everyone

Any more testing yellowflowers SweetieDarling Both of you have to get a BFPfor this thread.

Well i'm still feeling weird, still weeing all the time and still POAS everyday still seeing very faint positives!!!! Not sure what is going on with my body. Got my smear today aswell

yellowflowers · 21/05/2008 09:40

Hello,

Still no AF though have decided to expect it on Sat instead as sometimes my cycles are 35 days. Do feel sick but still have cold so maybe that's it.

Anyone else still waiting?

SweetieDarling · 20/05/2008 18:59

Hi 2BG, "those" periods do happen to people (I read Take a Break, full of surprise babies born in shopping centre loos when the mother has been bungee jumping the week before and going on the razz every weekend, with periods, not knowing they were pg!! so it could be the case! I certainly hope so.

Bamamama - know how you feel, it is awful being stuck on the happy/sad seesaw when someone else announces their news

yellowflowers no AF still means there is a chance! Good, no, Great luck to you.

Well, I broke my own promise not to test - did a cheap Tesco one mid afternoon today (BFN in case you think I'm doing that suspense thing ) when I didn't even really need the loo hence a trickle to test with [stupid emoticon]. I justified it by telling myself they are only £2.50 ish each so just the same difference as buying an impulse scratch card ... Tesco tests don't even bother to have a horizontal line in the test window to show you ain't pg, it really is a big moon-like slap-in-the-face plain white window. Like you're so not pg they can't even be bothered to put the horizontal lines in. Pah pah and pah.

Still no AF tho and although I have had minor cramps I am convincing myself they aren't "exactly" the same as AF cramps. Amazing suspension of belief. I am still staring at the evaporation line faint positive on the Clearblue. Need to be stood under the spotlights in the bathroom to see it, but still.

2beautifulgirls · 20/05/2008 17:53

well i have gone officially crazy, they should lock me up. I'm still POAS on CD3????
Why? Because i can't stop needing to go pee!!! Like every 30 mins or so. This is so not like me usually go 3 times a day max
And my period was unusual, very short, light and no cramps So as you do i convinced myself i must be pregnant but one of those that still have periods
I did have a faint positive yesterday on 1 of the 3 HPT and out of the 3 i have done today if i twist and turn in certain lights i can maybe see a very very very faint line
Why oh why do i do it to myself and why can't i just except a BFN and throw all the tests away?

bamamama · 20/05/2008 10:54

yellowflowers - you never know....!

Well, today I found out that someone else I know is pregnant which takes the tally for this year up to 12. I wasn't really too bothered about getting a bfp this month as it was our first one trying but all these pregnant people are making me think it's all a little unfair! [sorry for myself emotion]

yellowflowers · 20/05/2008 09:59

thanks 2beautifulgirls though I'm not hopeful, because I know we BD'd on cd 14, 15, 16 but then not again until cd 21 so unless a whole week late, or clever sperm surviving for days, then unlikely. Oh well...

Morning.

yellowflowers it ain't over until you get the BFP
Youmay have ovulated late and therefore won't get a BFP until late. Still looking good.
SweetieDarling how are you feeling anymore testing?

yellowflowers · 20/05/2008 08:43

Did clearblue digi today and got a BFN, though still no period.
