2DPO 12th Jan - anyone with me?

As the title says, I’m 2DPO on 12th January and TTC baby no.2. Feeling chilled at the moment as it’s 1st cycle and it took 4 months last time. Going to try and hold out from testing early!

Sorry to hear about your bfns but don't give up just yet. 9dpo is still early enough you haven't got to the most common day for implantation yet.

I do have news though. 4 cycles and turning the grand old age of 37 on Saturday coming and I've got my bfp! 11dpo and it's come up nicely. Been feeling a little bit delicate, like that hangover stomach feeling so had a niggling feeling. And I managed to tell my husband before he went to work as he was late setting off.

Massive congratulations! That’s such a dark line on the first response for 9dpo. What a lovely early present

Sorry to hear of bfn - sending lots of love. You're not out until you're out but I know last month by about 11DPO I just knew the result was the result.

It's a squinter at I think 8DPO which feels so early... but it came up straight away whatever it is. Could be an indent?? I stared at so many stark white tests last month I am sure something is catching my eye...

@Babydust82 it's so tough 😞 ye I'm now 10 dpo and bfn.
It does ease you into the disappointment rather than AF's arrival.

Sorry to hear. Absolutely as I don’t get any pre warning of AF really

@Babydust82 well done!

I did! 9dpo and negative! Tomorrow maybe..

Anyone else?

9dpo and BFN for me today too! Disheartening but at least I can prepare myself for AF in a couple days

Did anyone end up testing this morning? I was so tempted but managed to resist!

That's 3 of us for Tuesday then @MakeMeJuno and @Babydust82 I'll be 11dpo so should be visible if there's anything to see

MakeMeJuno · 16/02/2025 13:45

@Esssa I am going to wait until Tuesday - we can do this 😂

Esssa · 16/02/2025 10:38

Yes @MakeMeJuno it definitely prepares you. I'm tempted to see if I can hold out till Tuesday or Wednesday but I have no willpower! Don't think I could wait and see! It'd be cheaper though.

MakeMeJuno · 16/02/2025 09:08

I know lots of people say it's better to wait until AF but for me I found last month the BFN from 10DPO helped me prepare gently for the result, so will probs do the same this month

Babydust82 · 16/02/2025 08:21

I’ll see if I can hold off testing until Tuesday. Will be 9dpo then and that’s when I got a positive FRER last time. Will start with one steps though. My AF comes at 11dpo anyway

@Esssa 🤞🤞 finngers crossed for that birthday present!!

@houwseevryweekend i'm 8dpo today but won't get a bfp anytime soon. I'm up in the night weeing which to me is a posiitive sign. And boobs v sore. But still trying to keep lows from raising.
Your DH giving off positivity is great! 🤞
I felt so unwell in Dec before a miscarriage at 6 weeks - I am hoping for an entirely diff experience. I had a uti, really painful thrush and so rundown. Looking back I feel as if it was a sign it was never meant to be anyway. Didn't feel like that in a pregnancy I got further along with. So I definifely think there's something in having different symptoms xx
🤞🤞🍀🍀✨️✨️✨️

houwseevryweekend · 15/02/2025 23:54

@Esssa Ooh fingers crossed that this birthday is your happiest yet!

@NeatOtter My apps have my period starting 24 Feb as a regular 28 day cycle but they've been 24-26 days the last 3 cycles, so not sure. I'm planning to test on Wed which is 8DPO as the One Step cheapies are supposed to be valid 6 days before AF at 13DPO. FRER says I can test on Wed too... What about you?

I don't think I have any symptoms. The last time I was pregnant, before my BFP, I went off wine (unheard of!), got super bloated and my skin was great. None of that now. Ever practical DH says it could be different symptoms with a healthier embryo than the last one which never grew. We shall see.

Esssa · 15/02/2025 23:21

I technically can test from Monday but at 10dpo that still could be too early. I like to know asap though so I'll probably cave and try. Different apps are saying 19th or 22nd for AF so I'll find out before long. Happy birthday to me lol. I know which result I'd rather get as a birthday present!

NeatOtter · 15/02/2025 13:29

Anyone testing early? And when??
I've never had a positive pre-missed AF so baring that in mind but I'm still so tempted...
And also falling into the symptom spotting trap - had to wee in the night which is v rare and was getting hopes up. Ahh I need to keep my hopes low!!!

He wanted feeding back to sleep was part of it and we are both stubborn! His eczema has flared after daddy fed him a dairy yoghurt without thinking (he's dairy free) and he is scratching himself raw unfortunately. Fingers crossed for a better night tonight as I'm flagging. Thank you @Babydust82

Bless him, must be uncomfortable when he gets a flare up. All the best for a good night sleep

Bbt is back up again @Babydust82 though I'm taking the whole thing with a pinch of salt. I was awake from 2am till 4.30am with my 21 month old last night 😲
6dpo today so testing Monday at the earliest.

Great but Oh no! Is that normal or is there an underlying issue like illness or teething? Excited for the early testing to start for you!

Thursday is essentially my Friday at work so I am more distracted on weekends! At least on Monday I’ll be 8dpo before I start procrastinating about it again

2DPO today and will test at 10DPO so only a week to go! I am so fed up of POAS for Ovulation and the stress of waiting for a Peak, that I'm now in no rush to test sooner. Very unlike me ha.

NeatOtter · 13/02/2025 15:04

Dreading the next week!!
