As the title says, I’m 2DPO on 12th January and TTC baby no.2. Feeling chilled at the moment as it’s 1st cycle and it took 4 months last time. Going to try and hold out from testing early!

Hi, I’m 4dpo today. TTC #2 at 36. First cycle trying so not expecting much. I’m trying to not get stressed / excited and be relaxed but it’s so hard isn’t it! I forgot how hard the TWW is. Good luck to everyone trying x

Hi, I'm 6dpo. Just turned 35 ttc 1st child.
Hoping 3rd time lucky after 2 miscarriages in the past 6 months (Surgery for one). After my first mc I was really traumatised and convinced it would happen again (which it did). This time I have more hope of success - not sure why. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone.
I've never tested before my period was due but bought some early strips this time...

Hope it’s 3rd time lucky for you and sorry to hear about the losses! Not too long to wait now

Hi can I join you? I'm 36 ttc#3 and on cycle#3. I'm 3dpo today and just wishing the time away. I've usually got a 12 day luteal phase so will be testing at 10dpo if I can hold out that long. Had a weird one this month. Went straight from period days to fertile window. Usually I get 4-5 clear days in-between so nearly missed my peak opk!

Aandk64 · 15/01/2025 15:52

I know I am really early but this line (Which is probably false positive) is keeping me going.. after 2 miscarriages it's really hard not to cling on to these hopes (Weather false hopes of not, if that makes sense) Just wishful thinking.. time will tell I guess x

Morning, Can you give me your honest thoughts, please? Is it too early to see a line at 5dpo (maybe 4) what do you think of the below? 🤞🙏

I can see a faint line on the bottom one

Really annoyingly, I'm not clear on when/if I've ovulated - normally I get a clear rise on my BBT, but this cycle is seems to be slowly creeping up. My charting app has decided today that maybe I ovulated on Saturday, so 4DPO, but I think more likely 3DPO. If I have ovulated, it's clearly a crap egg, so no point getting optimistic about this cycle.

I have a progesterone blood test on its way to me in the post, so I guess we'll see.

I'm afraid I can't see anything, but 4/5DPO is too early in any case - earliest that implantation occurs (to my understanding) is 5DPO and it takes a while for hCG to reach a level of being detectable.

I will be testing early, I always say i won't then do 😂I'll start on Saturday at 7/8DPO

Thank you! Certainly a great distraction. Oh wow, lovely and early. Good luck 😀 I’m looking forward to seeing all our updates in a few days

Morning everyone, I’m going away for work today until Thursday night so that will help pass some of this waiting time! Then away for a meal Friday night so will be 8dpo when that’s all done 👏is anyone going to test early?

TMI but I am gassy today and just looked back on my notes from last month and I noted that as a symptom at this stage last time... probably nothing but equally something 😅

@blackberryhill really hoping it has done a great job flushing everything out so to speak lol I hear lots of people fall immediately after having it done!

pamplemousse19 · 13/01/2025 10:37

Welcome @blackberryhill and sorry to hear it's been taking a while, fingers crossed that you get your BFP very soon! I'm 37 too Smile How old is your first?

Thanks - this is my first cycle after HyCoSy, and I conceived #1 the cycle after a HyCoSy last time round so expectations unreasonably high for this one 😂My son turned 3 at the end of last year.

Sounds from your comment above like we were in a similar boat, he was a tricky baby and we were on the fence about being one and done for a fair while, but decided just before he turned 2 to give a second one a go. Now we're getting close to the point where he's so much easier that I'm starting to struggle with the idea of going back to the start again...!

H2023 · 13/01/2025 10:49

Hi all! Could I join? 1/2 DPO and trying for our second, trying to kid myself that I’m being chill about it 😅

Joining as 1/2DPO today (probably 1) and could use the company! Just turned 37 and TTC #2, this is Cycle 12 of trying so starting to feel like a bit of a long-hauler. It took 11 cycles last time so was braced for it to take a while but with one already the age gap ticks up with every passing month.

pamplemousse19 · 13/01/2025 10:21

Morning all! Hope everyone is doing well today. I agree, time seems to be going very slowly/backwards! I'm only 2 or 3 DPO today and AF not due until next Thurs/Fri (23rd/24th) so got quite a long wait ahead! Hope everyone is managing to keep busy. I have a fairly full on week at work so hopefully that will help!

MakeMeJuno · 13/01/2025 09:43

maple1234 · 13/01/2025 09:33

I'm 3DPO today for baby #1 and have never been pregnant before. I'm going to wait until at least 10DPO to test if AF hasn't come by then (usually comes around then!)

It is sooooooo hard to be patient... I think because I have been pregnant before my symptom spotting is now insane lol but trying to keep distracted! At least when you're in fertile week you can POAS to feel like you're doing something. Now just a lot of waiting!

Babydust82 · 13/01/2025 08:55

Morning, how is everyone? 3dpo and time feels to almost be going backwards! Going to be a long wait to see if af comes. My luteal phase is quite short though so I’d expect it to come on 18th/19th

Hi all, can I join? I'm 4/5 DPO TTC number two. My first is 15 months old. We DTD every day over my fertile days so hoping we've got a chance. It's my second cycle. Getting impatient!

Babydust82 · 12/01/2025 19:46

LimeStork · 12/01/2025 19:05

Hi ladies! I am first cycle currently 3PO trying for #1 after a MMC back in October. So sorry to hear about all of your losses but sending lots of love and baby dust on this TTC journey. Finding this wait really difficult and time is going suuuper slowly! First time using premom/ovulation tests which is been really useful. I wanted to ask what is the earliest you have all done a test? Or is it more reasonable just to hang in there and try to wait until 10dpo?

9dpo I got my first line on a FRER last time but I’m going to try and avoid testing early

pamplemousse19 · 12/01/2025 17:31

@Babydust82 We are so similar! It's our first cycle for this attempt too! My first is 22 months, so quite similar again! She's so lovely but has been quite hard work lol so I wasn't sure when to try for another, but I'm 37 (will be 38 this year) and DH is 44 so we thought we'd better crack on!
Did you have any early symptoms last time? My only one was a massive headache the day before I got my positive test (I think it was 12 dpo) so I'll be on the lookout for headaches during this 2ww!

although our little one didn’t really sleep until she was 9 months, we have been quite fortunate with her since. Shes very easy so I’m expecting the next one to be more challenging ha!
I had a slight sicky feeling in the evening when cooking tea so I tested early last time at 9dpo and then my boobs went massive in the following days. I was bad for testing early last time using FRERs so I’m going to try and avoid buying them this time

IDontDrinkTea · 12/01/2025 19:40

I’m CD19 today (not entirely sure how many days dpo as I have some irregular cycles. I think based on my body that I’m somewhere in the DPO3-5 region though). Trying for a third baby, but also having investigations for recurrent miscarriages 🤞🏻
