2DPO 12th Jan - anyone with me?

As the title says, I’m 2DPO on 12th January and TTC baby no.2. Feeling chilled at the moment as it’s 1st cycle and it took 4 months last time. Going to try and hold out from testing early!

@IDontDrinkTea that looks positive to me!

@Esssa lovely progression, nothing to worry about here!

10DPO and a BFN here. I know that's early still but still disappointed. The last time I got a BFP at this time so have it as a baseline in my head but I don't think all embryos follow the same pattern! I'll now test on Sunday at 12DPO the day before AF is due. Unless of course she shows early as she has been doing. So much for being most fertile in the months following MC!

If I'm out this cycle I'll try in Mar and then pause in Apr as my EDD would be between Xmas and NYE. I don't want to subject DC to that as a birthday week (no one around for their birthdays) but also torn about not losing time.

Esssa · 21/02/2025 08:21

I see something @IDontDrinkTea ! If it's got some colour I'd say it's positive.

IDontDrinkTea · 21/02/2025 08:18

Oh we’re still not allowed to post images are we 🤦🏼‍♀️ Well until it’s approved - I think I might have a positive?!

Esssa · 21/02/2025 08:18

I'm still checking the pee sticks. Since this is pregnancy 6 and l have 2 children I always worry in the early days. Can't really relax about it till after a decent scan as I had a MMC found at the 12 week scan once. Anyway lines are looking well and I'm 4 weeks today. Anyone else testing soon?

So I’ve caved and tested…
Does anyone else see this?! Also how hard is it to take a picture of a test without it being majorly blurry

Confirmed on the digi, so going to try and stop testing until after the weekend now! I so hope this one sticks 💖

9dpo here but am trying not to test this month. Last month sent me slightly insane as I’m convinced the easy at home tests all had a bit of a shadow on them - I wonder if I’ve got a dodgy batch?! - but either way I’m trying to think less about ttc and continue with normal life as much as possible. Plenty of distractions this week at least, it’s half term so my older ones are home and keeping me busy!

Just seen this. Must've missed it this morning. I totally agree with you. Makes early testing even harder because you really can't trust your eyes!

Esssa · 19/02/2025 09:20

30/31 October @houwseevryweekend but they usually move it about 5 days earlier which is physically impossible when you test this early! Went to 40+2 and 41 weeks with my others so probably actually be an early November birthday. 🤞🏼Tested again this morning on the easyathome sticks and it's slightly darker again. Think I've another 3 so might do every other day now till they are gone. Also have another frer so will give that a go at the end of those in hopes of a dye stealer. Definitely not obsessive at all 😂

That's looking darker @MakeMeJuno awesome! Congratulations!

8DPO and I tested because FRER told me to (not because I'm crazy 😜). Not even a hint of a squint, how rude. So I'll now wait till 10DPO to test again as that's when I got my BFP last time.

@Esssa looking good! When would your EDD be, Oct or Nov?

@MakeMeJuno that's a much darker line! Will you keep testing or stop now do you think?

Hey @Babydust82 I am sorry to hear. It's always tough to pick yourself up and start on CD1 but you're so right 3 cycles is really no time at all even though it feels so long.

Starting to feel very real this morning at 9/10DPO! Thanks for the well wishes @houwseevryweekend :)

Definite AF cramping this morning so that’s me out this month! On to the 3rd cycle. Took 4 cycles last time so will try to not feel too deflated yet

Sorry to hear of bfn - sending lots of love. You're not out until you're out but I know last month by about 11DPO I just knew the result was the result.

It's a squinter at I think 8DPO which feels so early... but it came up straight away whatever it is. Could be an indent?? I stared at so many stark white tests last month I am sure something is catching my eye...

I can something on the 2nd one and for 8PO that's quite exciting! Keeping everything crossed for you it's a BFP tomorrow or day after!

houwseevryweekend · 18/02/2025 18:21

Esssa · 18/02/2025 07:47

Sorry to hear about your bfns but don't give up just yet. 9dpo is still early enough you haven't got to the most common day for implantation yet.

I do have news though. 4 cycles and turning the grand old age of 37 on Saturday coming and I've got my bfp! 11dpo and it's come up nicely. Been feeling a little bit delicate, like that hangover stomach feeling so had a niggling feeling. And I managed to tell my husband before he went to work as he was late setting off.

Yayyy!!! Congratulations 🎉 what a great birthday present!!

Esssa · 18/02/2025 15:47

Yes 10dpo yesterday @Babydust82 But didn't think it was a positive till this morning.

@MakeMeJuno how many cheapies do you have.....😂

Esssa · 18/02/2025 11:58

I very casually tested yesterday (no willpower remember) and thought it was an evap. Hence digging out last cycles tests. Tested this morning and dipped a frer when I was sure I could see colour. Definitely don't trust the easyathome ones very much after last cycle. It's not super clear in this but definitely visible in person on the old one.

That’s great thank you! So 10dpo you got your first faint line.

@MakeMeJuno I WFH too which doesn’t help me constantly thinking about testing. I feel nothing so more than prepared for AF in a couple days. Last time I felt slightly nauseous so did a first response in the evening at 9dpo. Won’t waste them until I get a faint line or symptom. I hope your aches are pregnancy related

@essa these look great!

Thanks for well wishes @Babydust82 💖

I couldn't resist doing another test with SMU and it's darker already. I WFH on Tues so the temptation is toooo real with these cheapies but going to wait until tomorrow now - I'll be in the office so easier to keep my mind off it.

I am having some mild cramping/back ache now

@Babydust82 thank you! I'm 11 dpo so I'm guessing it's pretty standard. Definitely a good line not a squinter though.

Fingers crossed for you @MakeMeJuno I had my hopes raised last month with the easyathome tests, hence double checking with the frer. They can leave awful indents. 8 dpo is so early though so it's all possible. I dug last month's out of the paper bin to cross check the one this morning because I didn't trust it!

Fingers crossed for everyone else waiting to get that bfp. Fingers crossed for a sticky one now

Did you test before today? Just wondering when you poked up your first positive

@Babydust82 yes definitely has colour, but not getting excited yet. I had a CP late last year so not even going to tell DH until we have a solid line xx

Good luck! CPs are tough aren’t they

One more...

I do see a slight shadow in this one. Does it have colour in person? Over the next couple days you’ll hopefully be more certain :)
