I am now 37 and have one beautiful 10yrs old boy, my partner has 2 boys 9 & 13yrs.

I bought the Hertility kit online, not yet opened it… I was going to give this cycle my last attempt before investigating 🙃

We got pregnant a year ago but due to personal circumstances we both decided to not go ahead, this I carry so much guilt over 🪃

Now we are both ready and settled in our careers and home but now it has taken nearly 6/7cycles.

today I got my 1st + ovulation test, so beginning our January TWW.

what is everyone else’s story 🌟

@SCK2024 I'm hoping that I fall pregnant early this year. We've got a time limit now. The gap between our LO is getting too big otherwise. Think we will surrender to it around April or May if it hasn't happened for us by then.

Oh no!! Well I bet I will be behind you too. I've got 6 days until start of next cycle but not got any pregnancy symptoms at all 🙄 Feb is a nice time for us to get pregnant! Lol.

What test is your doctor doing on days 1-3? Never heard of tests being done on those days. I've only ever had 21 day progesterone testing.

cycle 1-3 bloods due Tuesday so perfect timing regardless for my GP appt the following week the check my levels!
& investing in some sperm friendly lube! 🤣😂🤞🏼

@FenellaFurchester time just goes so so quickly it's frightening! I can't believe I'm having another after having my eldest 20 years ago!!! I mean, I don't even look old enough! 😝😂

I feel crappy this evening so probs is and probs the lube, I’d hate to be BFP in March, I’d have another risky NYE baby 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 December is pricey enough!

I know this feeling! I have to keep reminding myself - 40 sounds so grown up. I don’t know who I thought I would be at 39, nearly 40, but somehow it’s not this 😂 Maybe I thought I’d be sophisticated and wise, of which I’m neither 😂

@SCK2024 You’re not out this cycle yet and if you are, at least you know it’s probably the lube working against you.

Same! I am in a horrific mood but not due my period for a week! I was really moody and irritable yesterday and I'm worse today 🥴😢 My poor husband. Hope you feel better soon x

I would rather nobody knew.. just because if I didn’t I could deal with it alone if it didn’t ever happen than everyone sympathise or it became I spoken topic.
my son has a little brother from his dad which he is absolutely amazing with and adores he is 3 I think nearly.

38 this year, my mum had me at this age too!
I have 1 - 10yrs

I ordered it starts with an egg. Looked at buying it ages ago but buying it brand new was quite expensive. Ordered one second hand on a website and looks brand new. Started reading it yesterday. Will send some picture of what it says to take if you have been trying for a while or had a few miscarriages.

I'm going to start testing from Tuesday, I will be 10 DPO then.

Hopefully your period won't come at all @SCK2024

Supplements wise, I’m finding naitre has lengthened my luteal phase and improved my ewcm quite a lot. It’s so expensive but it does seem to have the right amounts of good stuff in it.

I might try guaifenesin (cough syrup) next cycle, I’ve read a lot of anecdotal stories about success with that.

Not heard of Naitre?
I’ve done some reading on supplements, still unsure which to go with.
mixed reviews on most of them.

i don’t want one changing my cycle as its perfect 21-26 regular 2/3days long.

dont want to feel bloated either.

ive seen lots of vegan supplements (im not a vegan) but i thought they would be more natural, but so confused as i want all the vitamins inc such as
ubiquinol
Vit d
Folic
B12
Coq10
Omega 3
Zinc
especially

I’ve researched astroglide and good clean love are also great and sperm friendly, good budget price too on Amazon, so going to get some ordered this week and more ovulation strips!

AF still not due till tomorrow!

DPO14 today cba testing just waiting till AF arrives… if it does?! 🤞🏼🤞🏼✨✨✨

when we have been using lube toys/sex
the lube has not been sperm friendly!

I am starting to think that’s why it hasn’t been happening! 😩🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve just read the line we have been using has sperm mortality! 🫠 didn’t think it was an actual thing!

Still… AF not arrived yet!

I was taking Cytoplan Pregna- Plan prenatal supplements. Having a change when they run out in just under 2 weeks and going to start on the Proceive that a lot of women rave about. I take omega 3 capsules and not long started taking Ubiquinol. Hopefully it will all help! 🤞

I fell pregnant in September and had a missed miscarriage. I had an evacuation at the end of November. They tested the tissue and found it to be a partial molar which was a big shock.

Trying to be as healthy as possible at the moment. With a few naughty shacks here and there! 😝

Out of interest what supplements are you ladies taking?

None eyes but researching which are the best any ideas? ✨

attempting to conceive my 3rd and my DH’s first. I’m 40 soon and he’s 43.

we’ve had back to back miscarriages (3) with the last one leading to me losing excessive amounts of blood, transfusions, retained products, the works!

that left me very traumatised so we had a break of a few months but we’ve had nothing in the last few months of trying again

my period is currently 5 days late but all tests negative. I’m worried this means I’m heading into perimenopause and it won’t happen for us 😢
