I am now 37 and have one beautiful 10yrs old boy, my partner has 2 boys 9 & 13yrs.

I bought the Hertility kit online, not yet opened it… I was going to give this cycle my last attempt before investigating 🙃

We got pregnant a year ago but due to personal circumstances we both decided to not go ahead, this I carry so much guilt over 🪃

Now we are both ready and settled in our careers and home but now it has taken nearly 6/7cycles.

today I got my 1st + ovulation test, so beginning our January TWW.

what is everyone else’s story 🌟

Ahhhh thankyou! 🥰🥰🥰
I had an emotional wobble at the start overthink and panicking 🫠😄
Today I went into ultrasound at work and asked them to scan me so I feel reassure before going away and there I saw my little baby flickering away! ❤️🤭
How are you? Xx

Ah how lovely for you! I’m so pleased.
I’m okay, getting close to the end, about 8 weeks to go now. It’s gone so fast and been such an emotional rollercoaster 😂

Hello! Late to joining this thread but I’d love to read back on some positive outcomes when I get a moment !

Our story: Me and my partner are both 36 this year.
We started ttc for our first when we were 24 and when nothing was happening went through all the checks and told it was just unexplained infertility, 3-4 years later did 2 rounds of ivf that were both unsuccessful. Inbetween ivf we fell naturally pregnant but miscarried at around 6 weeks. Add another 4-5 years and we’d just given up trying along the way tbh!!

After 9 and a half years unexpectedly when we were no longer trying it happened. After our first was born we agreed to not go on BC and if it happened again that would be amazing and if not then that’s it. 16months after trying/not trying again we got pregnant with our second .. and third .. unfortunately one twin did not make it and we lost them very early on.

our second is now 6months and we’re trying for our third and final baby before we get too old (this is how we feel personally, I know people have babies older but we want to be done asap 😅).

wishing everyone good luck !!! 🤞 xx

@MJDJAjnr keep positive I’ve read posts with similar results to yours and miracles have happened regardless of the mobility and mortality it only needs that one swimmer! Fingers crossed for you both 🫶🏼

I am 6 weeks today, no symptoms really, ever so slightly nauseas not majorly.
Sleep isn’t the best I keep waking up really early regardless of feeling exhausted!

I keep weeing too!!
waking up early as well 😅
Loss of appetite, had mild cramps last night, good today.

Wishing you the most luck ✨

So pleased for you!!! How are you feeling?

Have been watching post for the last month. I'm just recently 43 & DH is 39 Have been trying for 4 years. We have undergone lots of tests privately this year as NHS was not getting us any where. I had hycosy & all was good but DH SA came back with low morphology & very low motility which was a shock as he has 2 kids from a previous relationship in his 20s so on his results ivf was recommended. Just on a bit of an extra health kick before we make decision to proceed or not. As its now or never for us

@SCK2024sorry only just saw this - this was yesterday (11dpo) - awake now, 12dpo but trying to wait until 6.30am to test

This was mine at 11dpo, very similar to mine, if not darker! 🤞🏼X

I think that you can only get a hycosy once you’ve had the referral to the fertility clinic. That was the case with us anyway. The GPs could only refer for the Day 4/21 tests, SA and ultrasound.

Would you enquire about a referral? Sorry I can’t keep up with everybody’s previous messages 😅
How old are you? I’m 38 and was panicking before now too xx

OP posts:
Mismatc · 07/08/2025 08:10

Definite progression there!

After SA I think would come private consultation with a fertility specialist and private hycosy/ treatment. I think once we know the SA we will have a sit down and decide what we are prepared to do fertility investigation and treatment-wise at the moment. If his SA is normal maybe we will give it a few more months, if it is abnormal we may get started asap. I’m not getting any younger 😅
