Is anyone else starting TTC for next cycle in January?
I've got a DD who's 6 but I do feel a bit like i haven't done this in a while so just wanted to chat. 🙂

Hi ,
I’ve googled like a crazy person all afternoon trying to find someone with a similar situation, that’s gotten answers .
I don’t do BBT, I used my Apple Watch to track my temp, it’s dropped from 36.9 to 36.4, like suddenly.
When I have had PMS on the way, it’s normally a gradual drop. This was suddenly and out of nowhere.
any insight?
im 27cd /13dpo

Tmi warning ⚠️ loss

So I'm currently staying overnight in hospital awaiting ectopic pregnancy surgery and the removal of a tube.
I'm only really commenting to see if anyone has been through the same. And to give an update. I'll keep this thread open for all the lovely ladies who have joined, and come back when we ttc again. Which ATM we both want to as soon as safe to do so. Xx

I haven't been through your situation but I couldn't not comment to say how sorry I am for what your going through , I hope it all goes as well as possible and your recovery is smooth sending you all the 💐💐🍫🍫

2petrabbits · 26/01/2025 21:05

@YKM2829 I’m so sorry to hear this. Wishing you a smooth hospital stay and speedy recovery. I hope you are able to surround yourself with support. Take care and all the best wishes for when you start trying again.

With the Clearblue weeks digis it's all a bit approximate. I think the weeks are meant to be read as from conception, but the different readings are triggered by different levels of HCG, so 1-2 weeks is based on 10miu, 2-3 weeks is based on 153miu etc. They can vary a bit from woman to woman, pregnancy to pregnancy and of course urine dilution, hence why it's a bit approximate.

I'm now 9dpo and of course I got a BFN. I hate this stage in my cycle. It's like I have the devil and angel on each shoulder:

Angel: 9dpo is meaningless- too early to count yourself out. You DTD on O-2 and one sperm is all it takes. Maybe Dry January and the cough medicine you've been taking for your rotten virus will have made all the difference. Plus Sod's Law - Oasis in September wouldn't it ideal if you've caught this cycle.

Devil: it's been 37 cycles of nothing. Why should this one be different? Yes, you DTD on O-2, but you've never had any joy this time on the cycles when you managed O day itself, O-1 and/or the entire fertile period, so why get hopeful about this cycle?

I wish I could squash the Angel tbh. I hate the false hope against all likelihood/experience...

9po negative as well today. The angel/devil thing is sooo accurate. Kept promising myself I wouldn't test this month but here we are.

Af has just turned up full force right on time , so I'm out again i hate this feeling

I think the clear blue go from implantation as my last pregnancy was 1/2 weeks and when I went for my scan that worked , they say you can exercise as normal so I don't know about that side of it but I think as long as it's not bright red and clots then all should be fine , I'm not going to bother saying keep calm don't over think as we are women and it's in our dna to

Hahaha yeah overthinking comes with the territory. Yeah implantation would make sense as that would be around the 12th and I defiantly had implantation pain and some spotting then.

I'm trying to just tell myself it wouldn't say pregnant if I wasn't you know

Just wiping, it keeps changing between brown like at the end of a period or like almost pink water droplets on the toilet roll.

I know it can be normal, and i did do a bit of a vigorous workout yesterday so I'm wondering if it's that. And I know you can irritate the cervix sometimes too.
I've just done a digital clear blue. It says pregnant 1-2 weeks. Which by GP due dating they'd say 5 and a half weeks.
I'm wondering if when clear blue say their weeks indicator is from conception, do they actually mean implantation instead. 2 weeks ago was my implantation. But I know we conceived between the 24th December to the 3rd January.

I don't know.
I feel like my anxiety is taking over alot. At least the clear blue said pregnant. And I've already had 2 wees this morning before I took it so it wasn't exactly the strongest wee.

I just keep saying in my head please please 🤞

Is it just when you wipe or is it on a pad as well ? My positive thoughts are with you and sending you all the good vibes

Started spotting yesterday, at around 5+5, like brown at first and now more really diluted pink. No idea what's caused it. I know spotting can be normal but with dd I didn't have any at all throughout once I did that pregnancy test. Idk.
Apparently my early pregnancy unit only do from 6 weeks onwards so I don't even know what I'd do.

Thank you im preparing for af but hoping for a bfp , since losing my baby boy in July we haven't had a hint of luck so to save heart ache im just taking it month by month , well done for holding out until Tuesday fingers crossed for you, I had been using Internet cheap ones but the reviews are awful so I have one clear blue for Sunday if af doesn't show up tomorrow

That’s all we can do isn’t it, just take it month by month no matter how hard it is, it will happen for all of us soon, so sorry to hear about your little boy xx

Hi I’d love to join, are people still posting in this thread or should I be looking for another? Currently CD 21 (my cycles are 25 days) bit of a back story, we had a missed miscarriage back in June 2023, babies heart stopped at 12 weeks, had no luck since, I had a scan on Monday to check my uterus/ ovaries etc as I am under the miscarriage clinic at the hospital, I had specific bloods taken etc, however Monday I was on cycle day 17 and she said it looked like I was about to ovulate (late for me as I usually ovulate cycle day 11) she didn’t seem concerned and said everything looked good and healthy, obviously I am concerned why I hadn’t ovulated already and thinking how can I ovulate so late when my cycles are only 25 days, I’ve been googling (shouldn’t have) it’s saying late ovulation could mean poor egg quality so now got myself in a bit of a flap, I havnt been tracking ovulation as this just stresses me out and I’m trying to stay as chill as possible, I won’t be early testing either as I have lost hope where its been so long trying since the missed miscarriage (over a year and a half) sorry I’m rambling now, lovely to see a few of you with positive tests, I really hope I do get one soon xx

@MakeMeJuno same here - I had a really good feeling this month nausea all week but AF arrived yesterday. Gutted as this takes us into cycle #12

MakeMeJuno · 24/01/2025 10:41

Really thought this month was my month but AF due today/tomorrow and still stark BFN!

YKM2829 · 24/01/2025 10:09

still active thread don't worry 😀 and it's probably gonna mix of those ttc who can stay on with people they talk to here as well as those, me including already with a BFP. I figure it's good for us all to kinda share advice and tips etc 😘

Hello, joining in 👋

Ttc baby #2, first cycle.

I knew immediately I was pregnant with DD. Haven't got that definate feeling this time but already symptom spotting, even though it's wayyyy too early.

I never test until my period is late so will be following along with everyone else while I'm in the tww.

I'm still breastfeeding (3.5yrs later!) so hoping that won't cause any issues 🤞.

So lovley to see lots of BFPs on here already this month.

Hello and welcome! May this be a cycle filled with baby dust and that you get your bfp before too long
My dd is 14 months old and breastfed and ill be honest, i think it is causing some issues. Its the 2nd cycle im tracking and I dont think I ovulated this cycle plus the one before i had a v short luteal phase. These problems can be connected to bf.
Please i dont mean to discourage you, we are all made so differently
Are you tracking at all? Xx
