Hellloo.
Is anyone else starting TTC for next cycle in January?
I've got a DD who's 6 but I do feel a bit like i haven't done this in a while so just wanted to chat. 🙂

Well i had the bleeding from before surgery where I knew something was wrong for a few days after surgery too, and then I had about a 5 day break and immediately came on a period. That one hurt alot and quite clotted and heavy. The bleeding from after surgery was brown this was fresh and with the cramps I had im pretty sure it was an actual period.
And with the date of my last period last week it all tracks correctly and came when due etc.
I still get pain in the side with no tube, but an ovary when I ovulate.
And my stomach muscles are a bit weak still but I'm doing pelvic floor and deep abdominal rehab for that.
I'm taking ovulation tests now to make sure I'm ovulating but also consistently as well as I wanna make sure I don't skip months or that it isn't jumping about everywhere.
I also hcg tested like the hospital said about 3 or 4 weeks post surgery to make sure my hormones had come down since the ectopic and that was negative.
So for me I think I'm going as normal 🤞🤞🤞🤞
I just hope my right side with the healthy tube (they said my left was damaged but with no obvious reason why)
That it can keep up with ttc with just 1 tube but they said the right tube can pick up a fertilised egg from the left ovary, so that's hopefully 🤞🤞❤️

I lost my left tube too! My LH tests and bbt say I’m 10dpo so I think everything seems normal so far. Just hoping it doesn’t take ages to concieve again and everything is okay next time. Keep me updated with how you get on!

Well it's been a minute 😅 finally all healed up post op and 2 period cycles later back to Ttc.
Started doing ovulation tests strips yesterday, that's due to peak in 3 days so let's see what the tests say 🤞
I did one a few weeks after op and got a very strong LH line so I'm assuming I'm ovulating as normal after EP.
I don't know if anyone is still active or just moved over to other threads but thought was worth posting just incase xxx

Hope you’re doing okay! I’m 5 weeks post surgery for my ectopic and tube removal too. Just waiting for my period to return, how have your periods been since? Xx

Hi there are other threads, I’m not not sure how to attach them, but there’s an April ttc thread and a February and March one xx

Period 1 day late. CD26. BFN on a Boots Simple and Clear cheapie. Ah well next month. This was our first month trying.

curliegirlie · 30/01/2025 20:54

I'm now officially out - AF finally arrived this evening....

Sophieb6898 · 30/01/2025 18:19

Sadly AF turned up for me today right on time 😭 feeling really sad today it’s only our second month TTC but with my first child I fell pregnant on my second month and really thought I was going to get my BFP made especially hard as 3 people I know gave birth today !!

HUGE congratulations to everyone that got their BFP’s in January and baby dust to all those continuing their ttc journey in February ❤️🩷💙

@Mummy1502 I know I should but I get so anxious in the first trimester. I had bleeding at 5 weeks with my daughter and although it all turned out okay I think I’m just finding denial easier at the moment even though I desperately want to be pregnant

It’s so hard isn’t it, im assuming I’ve defo just ovulated late, hate the not knowing xx

@Mummy1502 sorry for the bfn. Hopefully AF stays away & you get your positive soon.

I still haven’t tested. Helps that I don’t have tests in the house. Almost picked one up today but talked myself out of it

I think you should test xx

I'm out this cycle I think. No surprises there, given we only DTD on O-2, but there's always that stupid hope. But I'm due on tomorrow, currently 12dpo and have stared at multiple BFNs on OneSteps and Boots tests 😢.

currently cd27 and no sign of AF.
I consistently have cycles between 21&24 days. Not had a cycle longer than 24 days since having my daughter 3 years ago.
I don’t feel pregnant though. I’ve had 3 pregnancies previously and always kind of expected the positive test but not this time so I’m just putting off and expecting a late period.

I’m in the same boat as you, af was due today, always wake up to it on cycle day 25 seems to appear through the night, I’ve been having cramps on and off for a few days (unusual for me) then the cramps I’ve had last night and this morning I expected to see it this morning but nope, tested and bfn, will wait the day out and see if it arrives if it doesn’t I will grab more tests, I hope you get your bfp xx

BloomingOrchidea · 27/01/2025 18:46

@Wednesdayonline sorry to hear that - i may see you on the next thread x

Negative test today, day before period. Counting myself out now as AF symptoms have started. Onto the next month :(

shadesofcool · 27/01/2025 15:18

Currently in my two week wait - hope it’s okay to join the thread 🥰✨

@YKM2829 So sorry to read this, sending hugs 🫂 Hope you are been well looked after

BloomingOrchidea · 27/01/2025 11:16

Currently in my fertile window, seems to arrive so late for me now, used to be around day 15 and am on day 25.

In any case, we're DTd as much as possible but I noticed something happening: seems like DH doesnt always ejaculate? Its happened a handful of times recently and i dont know if i should be concerned for him? Obviously for conception reasons but more for health ones too.

Should i tell him? He orgasms but i sometimes see no sperm

Hi ,
I’ve googled like a crazy person all afternoon trying to find someone with a similar situation, that’s gotten answers .
I don’t do BBT, I used my Apple Watch to track my temp, it’s dropped from 36.9 to 36.4, like suddenly.
When I have had PMS on the way, it’s normally a gradual drop. This was suddenly and out of nowhere.
any insight?
im 27cd /13dpo

I tracked when ttcing for my dd and have started again this cycle, properly.
Whenever my temp and rhr dropped like that it meant AF was about to arrive. Hope thats not the case for you? Fingers crossed

BloomingOrchidea · 27/01/2025 11:12

@YKM2829 im so sorry to hear your news. Wishing you a smooth hospital stay and recovery, crossing my fingers you will be with us ttcing as soon as possible xx

NotMeekNotObedient · 26/01/2025 22:28

@YKM2829 I'm so so sorry to hear your news. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Im tracking my cycles but not ovulation via tests or temp tracking. I did try last time TTC with the ovulation sticks but could never catch it.

DD is only having 1 feed a day. As you say I think it's different for everyone. DH and I always seem keen to DTD in my fertile window so hopefully that's promising!

MakeMeJuno · 26/01/2025 22:28

I am so sorry to hear @YKM2829 - I hope you're being treated well. Such terrible luck to have an ectopic. A friend had one late last year but had quite textbook symptoms - they told her that even with removal of one tube fertility isn't impacted so I hope you get similarly reassuring news. Her cycles were normal straight away and they have started trying soon after x
