As the title suggests, if you’re over 35 and TTC your first, I’d love to hear from you! Would be nice to hear from a few of us in the same boat 🙂

Great news @Thisisouryear2025 💕 really happy for you.

Still in limbo over here!

Thisisouryear2025 · 15/05/2025 13:55

We have sperm results back and they are good 🥳 thank GOD for this result. So we have eggs and sperm. I feel so much better knowing we have a chance every month now

Thisisouryear2025 · 15/05/2025 11:03

@HollyGolightly4 I’m a bit crampy today so probably start of period, although very early but I honestly think anything can happen at this point!! I’m not due on until Monday evening or even Tuesday morning!
oh god I hope it’s not period, that sounded promising from you last night. I hate that part in your cycle where you check every wipe and inspect every bit of CM.
Thats tough, I’m sorry. Life’s actually cruel with this stuff

HollyGolightly4 · 15/05/2025 10:06

Makes sense @Thisisouryear2025 .

Think I might have had a few spots- perhaps period? Checking like a mad woman.

Spent the last hour teaching poems about motherhood which has not helped my emotional state!!

Thisisouryear2025 · 15/05/2025 06:57

@FlyHighSky72 I think a BFN is worse. AF is natural, BFN is nature rubbing it in we aren’t pregnant

FlyHighSky72 · 15/05/2025 06:41

Makes sense @Thisisouryear2025not sure what’s worse - period due tomorrow so then I’ll know for sure!

Thisisouryear2025 · 15/05/2025 06:38

@FlyHighSky72 10dpo is still really early. I’m not going to test I’ve decided unless my period is late I just cba with the agony of a BFN

FlyHighSky72 · 15/05/2025 06:29

Tested this morning with 3 different tests and not even the hint of a line - 10 dpo 37 years old

Thisisouryear2025 · 14/05/2025 22:16

@HollyGolightly4 Do you have a gut feeling that you might be? It all sounds so promising!

HollyGolightly4 · 14/05/2025 22:03

Hugs @Clara202

Thank you @Thisisouryear2025 . I have had a few pms symptoms - a few cramps. Mood swings and emotional, but let's face it, it goes with the TTC journey nowadays!!

My nipples still hurt 😂 other than that, nothing! But I didn't the cycle when I had my miscarriage, even had some bleeding then.

Thisisouryear2025 · 14/05/2025 22:01

@Clara202 Yes I have read it’s more common not to get implantation bleeding, that said I’ve had it with three of my pregnancies (I have no children). What dpo are you now? I am now 10dpo, due on Monday morning. I don’t feel pregnant either I just wonder if the elevated progesterone is a cyst from ovulation or something. I’m racking my brains

Clara202 · 14/05/2025 21:53

@Thisisouryear2025 I don’t think so somehow. Implantation bleeding isn’t all that common (it seems to be on moment but it’s not really in general!) and I have no other inklings or symptoms to suspect that it’s anything other than the start of my period. I would suspect I’ll be properly bleeding by Friday/Saturday. I’ll test Saturday morning if not.

I'm on day 32 of my cycle... It hasn't been this long since November 23, I'm usually between 27-30. Haven't tested since the last time. Husband thinks we should wait till Friday. I understand why- I'm itching to test, but also really reticent to. I know that doesn't make sense.

This really sounds like it could be your month…. Excited for you! See how you feel and test when ready. Do you feel pregnant at all? If you’ve had PMS symptoms and no AF it is very very promising

Thisisouryear2025 · 14/05/2025 21:48

Clara202 · 14/05/2025 20:29

@Thisisouryear2025 that sounds promising! You’re a lot more patient than I am, I’d be testing!
I think I’m out already, 8dpo and bleeding lightly.

I mean I just can’t even begin to allow myself to think positive! I am going to give it to the weekend and then maybe test. Could it not be implantation bleeding though??

So my progesterone came back yesterday at 52.7 nmol/l and which is higher than the range. I was so shocked. Doctor has said it confirms ovulation and that I don’t need to worry. Range is 13-46nmol but needs to be above 30 to sustain a pregnancy. So reasons for it being high could be implantation, ovarian cyst from ovulation that isn’t harmful or maybe that I ovulated more than one egg. Or it could just be a robust cycle. I have no idea how I feel as I had a total meltdown yesterday but I did so much research last night and apparently it’s a good thing so I’m going to go with that. I will test Monday

FlyHighSky72 · 14/05/2025 10:35

Did a FRER this morning (9 dpo) and nothing

Clara202 · 14/05/2025 10:28

8dpo and nothing to note, only tender breasts which I get every month anyway.

7dpo almost 8dpo tonight. Feeling way too stressed right now with my house extension and various other things going on so pretty much know il not fall this month. Waiting on progesterone results today too. I have no symptoms at all so again know this won’t be my cycle

Clara202 · 12/05/2025 14:21

I’m 6dpo, anyone similar?

@Thisisouryear2025ok thanks! I’ve only got a ten day luteal phase predicted so fingers crossed

Still enough for implantation, anything that implants from day 11 onwards is likely to end in miscarriage. I know I implanted late with both chemicals. Also, just because you have a short luteal phase, it doesn’t mean your body or the embryo will do things faster than someone with a 14 day luteal phase. So give yourself a little break and just know that your cervix right now shouldn’t be anywhere other than where it is because you can’t have implanted. Even if you implant at day 9, you still may not get a higher cervix until 14 days.

HollyGolightly4 · 09/05/2025 08:47

Yep, everything ok vitamin wise.

I've just tested with clear blue early and it's negative. I don't think I am pregnant!

I’m sorry hun ❤️ I don’t know what to say, it’s the hardest thing ever, I hear and feel that pain monthly so I get it. Your time is going to come one way or another!!
