I think today is ovulation day for me, I didn’t manage to track it last month with my cycles being all over. I’m not holding out much hope for this cycle but trying to take it as a positive that I seem to be ovulating!

@Wondergirl1111 My cycle was all over the place for 8 weeks after my D&C in March. I gave you trying to track them because I was bleeding every 16-18 days. I was still coming toward the end of a bleed when I noticed a HUGE amount of EWCM, which is extremely unusual for me. I did a random OPK a day later when I'd stopped bleeding and it was relatively high, so I realised I must be either about to ovulate because my surges are lightening quick. We'd already done the deed that day and decided to it again the next day for luck. That was CD9.

I got a positive pregnancy test 9 days later. Full cycle was 18 days, I couldn't believe it. Tragically, we lost our little boy at 19 weeks in September due to unexplained pre-term labour, but he was absolutely perfect himself. They still can't tell us why it happened, all tests have come back clear, but I'll always remember that positive pregnancy test and being absolutely stunned at falling pregnant with such a short and random cycle.

My OPK reading went back down again. Feels like im never going to ovulate again!
Long acting hormonal contraception really does screw you over doesn’t it?

I'm CD2 today. I'm thinking of trying 75mg daily asprin this month. Has anyone been doing this?

I’m doing OPKs this cycle, this is our first cycle trying so I’m patiently waiting on the big O.

I have been testing since CD10 and haven’t got above 0.6 ☹️. I’ve started testing twice a day today - I had to buy more tests.
So in the opposite of you, I’m showing as ovulating late. Really hope I get a peak soon, it’s CD15 today, I usually get my peak 16-18… keeping everything crossed.

Have you ever peaked twice? It does seem very early to be peak CD8.

Hello again @MyGardenDaisies and everyone from the Dec group - I wasn't very active on it - I think I knew it wasn't my month.

Feeling more hopeful this time round though I've had a weird thing happen - anyone with any light to shed appreciated!

27-28 day cycle, did a advanced CBopk starting yesterday on CD8 - static circle as expected. Then yesterday afternoon (CD8 still) started getting ewcm and cramps one side. I tested again last night and got a flashing smiley. DTD just in case but surely this is too early? It would mean I would actually ovulate around CD9/10/11? Too early to make a pregnancy stick?

Anyone else doing OPKs this cycle?

Glad that AF has turned up but also sad it’s not worked out for you. Looks like we’re in the same boat so I’ll be right along with you on dates for this one.

We’ve never experienced a loss before and my partner has been absolutely amazing, I feel very lucky to have him. Bless him he was meant to be having his Xmas night out with friends tonight but he’s not going so we can have a cosy night in instead. The dog must know something is up too, she’s not left my side all day today.

I'm back ladies! Officially CD1 today... been a rollercoaster week as went back to 1-2 weeks on a CB digi after getting negative. I knew deep down it wasn't a viable pregnancy but the tests seriously messed with my head. AF has finally arrived with a vengeance! Sad and relieved at the same time. I've learned my lesson this cycle though and not testing at all, it got way out of control (and expensive!!)... I'm not even going to track ovulation.

Hope everyone's doing ok 🥰 I'll hopefully ovulate early Jan (usually around CD14-17) so I'm just going to go off predictions and EWCM instead of sticks

It’s saying I’m going to be in high peak around Christmas Day so I’m sure we could get a few happy nights in on the run up to that lol

It is for me! I’ve ignored any kind of cycle since I started hormonal contraception. 16yrs ago!
I literally don’t have a clue if I even ovulate!

But I really am trying not to get too excited…

Hi all, jumping over from the December group. Had a very short cycle last month of 21 days so not sure what that was! Testing from tomorrow as I don’t think I ovulated last cycle so 🤞 for us all

I feel like a positive ovulation test is nearly as exciting as a positive pregnancy test 🤣

AF arrived so definitely in the right thread.

Trying not to get over excited.
I’ve been ovulation testing, been hovering at 0.11 for days, predicted ovulation post coil should be Xmas eve/xmas day and today I got 0.25 and a real distinct jump in the darkening of the tests.

I know it can fluctuate a lot, and I don’t want to get my hopes up that I’m working properly post Mirena. But…. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Oooh good luck this cycle! I’ll probably be testing or AF around a similar time. My LH has started rising and got to 0.63 today but no higher, so guessing tomorrow will be my peak 🤞

I was due to ovulate Monday too… been testing since CD10 though and they’re around 0.5, so it’s been predicted as Christmas Day 😅.

I usually ovulate around day 14-16 so it would be later than usual if it’s correct (CD19).
I will keep testing, I’m hoping it arrives as usual otherwise it’ll be a busy Christmas Day 😂.

@Cinnamonbunn ok I will keep testing! I would’ve stopped by then assuming it wasn’t going to happen. I have to remember although my average cycle is 30 it actually varies by 10 days sometimes 🤷🏼‍♀️
