Hope it's okay to join! Me and dh decided to start ttc in November so I came off the pill & had my first period just before Christmas. We are trying for our first baby x

Same for me and my husband! So exciting that we started TTC at the same time :)

Kateb149 · 02/01/2025 13:54

@MyGardenDaisies soo pleased for you for getting more positives ☺️ how exciting!

I saw you mentioned you take proceive and also folic acid and vit D… could I ask why you take the extra vitamins on top of the supplements as I think they have folic acid and vit D in already? I take proceive too but only take Omega 3 and Iron with it so just curious if I can learn anything from you! X

@MyGardenDaisies oh wow, wonderful news for the new year. Congratulations 💖

@SarahB88 sorry to hear you’re not feeling yourself. How many dpo are you? I can really relate to what you’re saying, I’ve had some awful stabbing pains which have woken me up in the night which has made me a bit anxious. I do find comfort in thinking it would be too early for anything to have gone wrong.

SarahB88 · 02/01/2025 11:16

I’m 1DPO and still having terrible bloating and cramps. I don’t normally have this so a bit concerned that all is not well. I deffo don’t have any issues like PCOS or endo so not sure why I’m so bloody bloated! I do remember being horrifically bloated in early pregnancy with my daughter but it’s too early for that and been a few days now.

Aprilsunnyday · 02/01/2025 10:10

Congratulations!!! @MyGardenDaisies Amazing news at the start of 2025!!

CoolSummer89 · 02/01/2025 09:16

Thank you @KittyFantastica, the infertility journey comes in many guises and are uniquely painful. But we have to keep on hoping and trying. I know we will both have our babies one day and we'll be telling our story to ladies who can't yet see the light at the end of the tunnel, like we are today ❤

KittyFantastica · 02/01/2025 09:11

Congrats @MyGardenDaisies!

So sorry for the disappointment @CoolSummer89 We all grow up thinking this is going to be so easy, don't we? I'm on the flip side to you - 3 pregnancies, only one birth, and still no baby to bring home. It's devastating. All the plans we made, the trips we thought we'd have a little one in tow, how easy we hoped it would be. It all feels like a very cruel joke.

You're still a few days out, but I won't say there is still time for a positive. You know your body better than anyone. I knew I wasn't pregnant last month well before I tested.

Thank you @Sunshine924 and @Mumzydarling12 ! X

I have done 2 more cheapies from different brands and they both came up positive too! 🤞Going to nip in Asda today as I don’t think I can wait till Saturday when my Amazon digital order would arrive.

@MyGardenDaisies this is fantastic news. Congratulations! 🎉

Morning, 10dpo and BFN. I know it's too early to know for sure but I also just know that it's not happened this month. Disappointed of course because I have felt very relaxed this TWW, so thought my body might have helped me out 😅 but instead I just have a stinking cold, which explains why my heart rate went up earlier in the week.

Have my first fertility investigation next week so at least I am getting close to some answers after 15 (!) cycles trying. I am not going to try next cycle, as we're off to Australia for a wedding at the end of the month and the silver lining of not being pregnant is I can just enjoy myself and not be shattered. At one point I thought we might be bringing a newborn on this trip 🤡

Sunshine924 · 02/01/2025 08:44

@MyGardenDaisies congratulations ❤️ Keeping everything crossed you get your digital positive soon too.

I'm a bit earlier in the Jan cycle than everyone else... And boy is this month dragging!! Back to work today which should (in theory) be a distraction 😂

FMc208 · 02/01/2025 08:22

Hi all, can I join?

Currently 2dpo TTC #2. This will be our 4th cycle. I try my hardest each month not to test early but by around 8dpo I start getting antsy!

Also going to try my hardest not to symptom spot but again I say that every month!

Lots of luck to you all!

Mumzydarling12 · 02/01/2025 07:20

@MyGardenDaisies eeeekkkk how exciting!! I can definitely see that line! What a lovely way to start the new year! Congratulations ☺️❤️.

cycle 8 of TTC here, period due on the 9th Jan, trying will try and hold off any testing and see if AF shows up first, which I am used to now! 🤦‍♀️
Happy new year everyone! Wishing lots of baby dust everyone’s way ☺️xx

Hen2000 · 02/01/2025 02:40

Happy new year everyone! So lovely to see a couple of positives!

4dpo here. We only managed to dtd once in the fertile window due to illness. I think I have in my head this month is out but it's making me feel more relaxed about not waiting to symptom spot. Period due jan 9th (11dpo) . I think unless I have strong symptoms I will try and hold off testing due to last month's vvfl.

MyGardenDaisies · 01/01/2025 23:22

@Kateb149 thank you lovely xx

Haha thank you @ThatSnugSwan ! ☺️

I still feel like until I see it in writing I can’t believe it fully! Ordered digital with weeks indication but it’s coming on Saturday , when I’ll miss my period officially.

If I’m near a Boots or Asda tomorrow, I’ll do it earlier. Got some more non-digital not ultra sensitive ones to wee on tomorrow morning to see if the line gets darker.

I can’t believe cycle 5, after my short LP and not testing, is the time it happened!
And the cliché of “when you relax it will happen” - I have my gynaecologist and SA testing for DH booked in a couple of weeks, and this month cut down all supplements to just Folic Acid, Vit D, and Proceive this cycle.

So so excited for you - there’s definitely a line!

Haha I had a sneaky suspicion it would happen for you this month, not doing OPKs and having your tests lined up must have done the trick 😅 I have everything crossed for you that you get a positive on a digital when you can! X

Marie1990x · 01/01/2025 21:17

@MyGardenDaisies i bet it would be a positive on digital tomorrow! I found them sensitive. My cheapie with DD was vvvvf but still got a positive on weeks indicator one 🤞🏻

Sugarcube84 · 01/01/2025 21:14

MyGardenDaisies · 01/01/2025 20:31

Omg omg!!!
Husband says he can see it too! It’s faint but clearly has a red tone in real life and appeared in the time frame. can you see it ?

trying not to get too excited until I see a Pregnant written on a digital!

I see it too, fingers crossed for you but congrats!!

I'd like to join as I'm ttc now as of Xmas eve.
I've got a DD age 6 so it's been a while since ttc and just remember all the anagrams for stuff so just gonna read up and will comment occasionally. 😘

MrsH26 · 01/01/2025 21:09

Definitely there @MyGardenDaisies everything crossed for you!
what a lovely start to the new year

ThatSnugSwan · 01/01/2025 20:53

@MyGardenDaisies Congratulations Its a definite lime, no sqinting needed 🙂

MyGardenDaisies · 01/01/2025 20:47

@Kinderbueno89 I think 10DPO, but I took this month off OPKs.

My 1st positive with my little one was very similar at also 10 or 11 DPO.

@Lemonolive09 I might order on Amazon!

@Miffy1994 @Marie1990x @CoolSummer89 tentative thank you 🥹
