I thought raspberry leaf tea was meant to induce labour! I’ve got loads of teabags left from when I was getting ready for my daughter arriving and trying to hurry her along so will give it a go if I need it next cycle.

BRB off to buy some Co Enzyme Q10, Follic Acid, Raspberry Leaf tea, Royal Jelly, haha!! Anyone taking any of these alongside a Proceive?

Hahahah!😂

Interesting, thanks for the input! 😊

Floomobal · 08/01/2025 16:58

@carolinep3 yes, apparently. I’ve been taking 300mg daily, along with a folic acid/vitd. A few women said it had messed with their cycle a bit, but I never noticed any changes in mine.

carolinep3 · 08/01/2025 16:55

Floomobal · 08/01/2025 16:53

The thing that changed for me was taking Co Enzyme Q10 which was recommended by many women here.

I’ve read that royal jelly can help stimulate follicles, but there’s no definitive data yet

This is meant to help with egg quality isn't it?
I've been taking it but only 200mg a day, I've seen the recommended dose for women is 600mg? I've just brought some new ones from Amazon. I think it helps with sperm health too so might make hubby take it too WinkSmile

When I conceived before I was drinking raspberry leaf tea. Going to start again this cycle. Apparently it helps with uterus health and overall fertility.
Can't hurt. I only really drink a small cup a day.

Alex2022 · 08/01/2025 16:49

I think it can help men with sperm count and motility but not sure the benefits for women, would be interested to know though :)

My SIL recommended royal honey to concieve easier, she got pregnant on the first try tho so she didn't know if it was because of the royal honey. I take folic acid, does anyone else have good experience with royal honey or is it just a "myth"? Just curious 😊

What the royal jelly suppose to do?

@SarahB88 no need to apologise at all... there are so many posts and users to keep up with! Welcome to the 5DPO crew @PamelaDoov :) I'm normally terrible for symptom spotting so trying my best not to this time!! But the CM and disappearing sounds promising!!

I've always found my cervix does whatever it wants and changes position and firmness multiple times throughout my cycle so don't read anything into it anymore.

@Floomobal welcome!! Understand your overwhelm and anxiety!! And tentative congrats on your BFP!!!

Floomobal · 08/01/2025 15:52

Hi all, I haven’t posted or joined the group, as I’ve been on the ttc boards for a long time, and it was all getting a bit much. I’ve been reading everyone’s advice of timing and supplement recommendations etc

I hid all the sensitive topics, but have been watching and wishing I could pluck up the courage to join again. I think I’ve just had a BFP, and am sitting here shaking and convincing myself that it’s an evap line.

PamelaDoov · 08/01/2025 15:51

@SarahB88 id be happy with that as a sign lol. I checked my cervix again and now it’s disappeared, I probably scared it off 😆 phew

SarahB88 · 08/01/2025 15:39

@MummyV2021 so sorry I forgot your name but I knew there was another person 🙈 yay @AmazeB that you’re the same as us!

TMI but just went to the loo and had loads of watery discharge in my pants. That’s a good sign for me but now I feel like I’m just looking for things!!

blackberryhill · 08/01/2025 15:38

@Matildahoney You've inspired me to go back and check my charts from when we were TTC my son - I had it in my head that I'm ovulating earlier now than I used to, but actually Day 12 was average for me back then (although it was slightly later the cycle we actually conceived). I've had a couple of very early positive OPKs on recent cycles (first positive OPK on Day 8 in my November cycle with a BBT rise the following day) whilch has just left me a bit paranoid about it all.

AmazeB · 08/01/2025 15:33

5 dpo here too! @SarahB88 @MummyV2021
I've got a few twinges here and there and sore boobs. But those are all normal luteal phase symptoms for me 🙁

S4mmyj90 · 08/01/2025 15:32

Had ewcm this morning. Wasn't due to ovulate until the weekend. Going to dtd tonight in the hopes we haven't missed this month 🤞🏻

carolinep3 · 08/01/2025 15:28

👋I'm an early ovulator too. Normally cd11-12 I get a positive OpK.

Matildahoney · 08/01/2025 15:25

@blackberryhill I'm an early ovulator, around day 11-13. Conceived DS when we knew this information!!

Well I've still had no AF (due 4th) done 2 cheap tests which were bfn, I've ordered some more which come tomorrow, but I didn't get my bfp with ds until af was 5 days late. So I'm still hopeful.

I should be ovulating again this month but won't be testing until Feb.

MummyV2021 · 08/01/2025 14:40

SarahB88 · 08/01/2025 11:53

We are similar stages then! There’s another cycle twinnie on the thread but I’ve forgotten her username (thanks ADHD 🙈)

It's me :) I'm the cycle twinnie!! 5DPO today and feeling weirdly calm about everything! I guess because I'm not expecting anything following the MC in December. AF is due the 17th, but I'm planning to test on the 16th as have a work party and would like to know ahead of it! I normally get tempted to test from 8DPO, so if I can hold off til 13DPO I will be amazed with myself!

PamelaDoov · 08/01/2025 14:35

Just checked my cervix and it’s low & hard which isn’t a great sign…

SarahB88 · 08/01/2025 14:25

@PamelaDoov I don’t do BBT but I do monitor CM and had loads of EWMC on CD11 and 12. I got a good strong OPK line on CD11 so thought I’d ovulate on CD12 but then got another super dark line on CD13 so who knows. But I must have ovulated somewhere between CD12 and 14, I’m now CD18. I’ve had a really clear positive progesterone test this morning so I reckon I must have ovulated CD12 and my second peak wasn’t actually ovulation, unless it’s possible to pop two eggs out a couple of days apart 😂 I thought when that happened they both came at the same time though.

My parents dog also won’t leave me alone and was sniffing around my lower tummy but I had also just eaten a cheese sandwich so again who knows 😂

Alex2022 · 08/01/2025 14:06

Currently ovulation week for me so trying to DTD as much as possible!! AF due on 21st, really hoping this is our month for anyone still in it
