I’d continue testing! I don’t ovulate until around day 19 or 20! Good luck!

Edited

Thank you so much, that's really comforting. I've never checked or tracked my ovulation before so was getting a bit worried. I just assumed when I got my ewcm I would be ovulating.

CatLady93 · 01/12/2024 06:45

@Pawsome90 Hi!! I think carry on testing to see if that test line gets darker. Have you been poorly at all or stressed? Sometimes that can delay ovulation a little bit. Do you notice any other symptoms usually when you're in your fertile window?

Thanks, I'll keep testing like you've said. Today's opk was the same as the last few days. I've been a bit under the weather, with a bug or something but I did have a chemical pregnancy last month. I only bled for two days too. The reason I started testing from cd10 is because I had my ewcm. I have had a weird subtle pain/pull/ache in my lower left abdomen since that same day (cd10). Ttc for 5 months now and decided it's probably best to try find out when or if I ovulate.

KT199 · 01/12/2024 09:31

Good Morning Ladies! ✨

@FlakyAquaQuoter Definitely fingers crossed your 3 for 3!! 🤞 so sorry to hear of your loss that must have been very hard to go through.

@Pawsome90 I would continue testing, I tend to do morning and evening once I hit CD10 as my peak is only short and I could miss it as one month it was only 9 hours long!
CD14 is based on a standard 28 days cycle and a 14 day luteal phase, if you differ from this your ovulation date may be different. Hope you find a peak soon!!

@CatLady93 yeyyy happy for you with the high temp!

8DPO over here, tbh I’ve lost my itch to test today. I have 0 symptoms, at this point in my cycle I’m normally bloated as a bare minimum but today seems like a normal day. RHR has dropped too, which I’m thankful for as I thought there was actually something wrong it’s never ever been that high in my 2 years of owning the watch! Think I got a little over excited drilling into it and googling!!

FlakyAquaQuoter · 01/12/2024 08:54

@CatLady93 - The third was an accident! But they're all absolutely wonderful, very Fluffy, and totally people cats. I spend every moment with all three of them vying for love. Though one, who was always my girl, is now completely in love with DD and doesn't leave her alone. I constantly find them snuggled up together.

Nooo! Not the cone of shame! No surprise that you've had some yowl-y disturbance. Mine got cystitis for the first time a couple weeks back. I was terrified to find blood in the litter tray. Cost me a fortune to find out she was a little stressed from a neighbour cat who stands at our back windows. So I've frosted half the window and cut contact and she's miles better now.

It's definitely a killer to come back from. I often find I'm fine while the deprivation is happening, but when I get a decent sleep after, I feel a million times worse for it.

Yeah you definitely learn to pick your battles when it comes to tesco. Yesterday was absolutely not it. However the mood has been drastically improved today after a good kip (and an advent calendar...!) So we shall try again.

Very exciting to hear of your temp rise! I've had to battle with myself to not test this morning. It's technically only 8dpo and no way I'd get a line even if all was well. But it felt like the thing to do!

Just hit cd 14 and I'm unsure if I've ovulated as I started testing opk at cd 10 and have so far had negatives only (with a dark control and very faint test line). Should I continue testing with opk to see if they darken or could I have ovulated earlier or be ovulating later or maybe even not ovulated this month at all?
Good luck to everyone 🍀

I’d continue testing! I don’t ovulate until around day 19 or 20! Good luck!

CatLady93 · 01/12/2024 08:28

I was very relieved to see a high temp this morning woop! Looks like I definitely ovulated. 5dpo today, twinges a lot yesterday but that's fairly normal. Only thing I haven't had is sore boobs which I usually have straight after ovulation but alas these things probs mean absolutely nothing 😂

@CatLady93 - Hahaha, I'm also a cat lady, with three of them! Mine was generated by the good old bot otherwise I'd have likely been the same.

Oh gosh I feel you on the fatigue. Mines been an absolute devil today. She's exceptionally overtired from her week which included TWO sleepovers with her nanny, so I get it. But man alive am I ready to be able to sit with a cup of tea. (Except my milk is off and tesco today would have been chaos in this mood!)
Teeth are zero fun, I really feel for you.

I'm okay thank you, bumbling along. Feeling totally normal one minute and like a crazed googler the next.

@KT199 - Yeah it definitely helps me along knowing that the chances are fairly good since I've given it all a head start. Does not make me less crazy about it all mind!

My mum often reminds me that when she had me, they didn't even have home tests, and the GP wouldn't see you until you were 2 months late for your period!

I'm all for the peeing before I can think. Though all my first positives have been in the evening. The main reason for this is that I seem to guzzle water overnight and positively dehydrate in the day. So my evening pee is always the most concentrated. And evenings is also when I'm the most focused on it. So I've tried to drink lots today and that'll be my best way to get it out my system!

@FlakyAquaQuoter 3!! How lovely. We have 2, and one of them is a mental ginger one who has had a cone on for 10 days (infected paw 😮‍💨) and been very angry, and therefore yowl-y about it! Thankfully cone could come off this morning and he could go back outside so we are having some peace and quiet 😂

Oh gosh overtiredness is so tough and sometimes really hard to come back from I've found?! My daughter gets really tired from nursery too. She loves it so much but it's exhausting I think.

And yes Tesco on a busy Saturday when the mood isn't quite right.. absolute bedlam 💀

It certainly has it's moments! I've had three full rounds of IVF, and this is my third FET. So I've got my feet under the table so to speak. So much so that all the clinic nurses welcome me with hugs nowadays. 😂

I've been fortunate in that every transfer I've had, has given me a positive, though I lost the last one. But every round of IVF I've done hasn't resulted in a transfer due to overstimulation. So fingers crossed I bat three for three on the positives post transfer and get to bring this baby home!

So lovely to hear that she's got a sticky bean and is doing well!

Apparently so! See I always think I should be grateful that it's such a short wait in comparison but yes, it definitely doesn't help at all. I'm still itching. 🤣

Definitely sounds like you'll be a morning wee one! Hopefully this little one comes along this cycle!

Yes, but what I’ve defo skimmed over is the months of stress, meds ect that you have had to have to get to this point.. so will have also had a much longer wait to get to this point than me. I hope the process was kind to you, I’ve heard it can be very difficult. A work colleague recently went through it and I have nothing but admiration from the stuff she has shared. Thankfully she got a sticky bean and is currently enjoying pregnancy.

2 MONTHS LATE??!! No way!! Well, I best be flipping grateful for the two weeks then hadn’t I!

I’ve never had a positive test to know for sure, but I am definitely most hydrated on an evening so I do think I wouldn’t stand a chance of an early test on an evening!! I’m currently ttc #1, cycle 4!

@KT199 I relate so much!! It's so hard not to get totally obsessed. I have a terrible habit of convincing myself I'm pregnant too 🫠 Even if rationally I know there's no way I can know when it's early days DPO wise, it doesn't stop the mind wandering!

I feel crazy 🤣 I must stop this right now!! The disappointment will be too heavy if I don’t!

KT199 · 30/11/2024 19:08

I'm the same day technically... but of course for 5 of those days nothings even near me. So I'm essentially a nut from day 2 😂

Yep, aiming for day 10... we've got this! I think... maybe. I'm exactly the same, I need to know immediately and very much don't cope with anything like "cross that bridge when we get to it". Like, no, I need to know absolutely everything about the bridge and how exactly we will cross it.

Exactly this! I'm lucky in that we spend our Christmas with my family who know about the treatment, so they'll be aware anyway. And Christmas does have a lot of delicious beige food.. and in my case it's all cooked for me, so that'll definitely help!

I guess the positive for you, is knowing you have a fertilised egg, I could be fantasising about nothing.. 🤣 however I cannot believe someone hasn’t come up with a test that could help people trying for natural conception know whether the egg is fertilised ect!! I would certainly pay to know, and it would remove so many unnecessary days from the TWW if nothing happened!

Could not relate any harder to the comments about crossing a bridge, actually laughing cause I am the exact same!!Yes, I need to go pee half asleep tomorrow morning so I can’t even consider doing a test 😂

Awhhh, sounds lovely let’s hope it’s the Christmas news you’re wanting!!

CatLady93 · 30/11/2024 19:06

@FlakyAquaQuoter Adore that you've called me cat lady hahaha. I love my cats but I think I panicked trying to choose a mumsnet name 😂😂

I'm doing ok thank you!! Nothing really to report symptom wise other than fatigue because my toddler has been waking up super early from teething.. the back molars. OUCH. Hoping my BBT rises tomorrow morning as the dip this morning threw me a little bit! How are you doing?

Oh bless you @KT199 - Sounds like you've had a really stressful time of it. I have everything crossed for you!

Yeah I expected symptoms but had absolutely none. At 5.5 weeks I was feeling particularly smug. Then I woke up 6 weeks pregnant, threw up as soon as I opened my eyes and that stayed until week 13. 😂 I did NOT feel smug at that point.

With the second pregnancy I was at work at 5 days past transfer (10dpo) and could tell you what everyone had had for breakfast. And people speaking near me ... I could smell their breath a mile off.
Got home and tested and sure enough it was positive.

This will be my last attempt for a long time. It's usually around once I year I can get the funds together to try!

@FlakyAquaQuoter Wow it's mad how different pregnancies can be!! Sooo hoping this one sticks for you 🥹🤞🏼

So glad I’m not alone 🤣 honestly I hit 7DPO and it’s like a switch flicks in me 🤣 I really need to hold out for 10DPO at the earliest as in my head I know realistically nothing even now could indicate a positive test pending but still hope 😂, does not help being one of the worlds most impatient people as I feel like I need to know everything immediately.

Oh I bet it is!! 🫶🏻

Hahahaha, that is funny!!! But honestly, me too.. bring it on.. don’t care if I can’t face the turkey and trimmings if it’s due to getting a BFP!! Will definitely have to figure out how I hide that from my family, but that’s the least of my worries!!

@KT199 - Honestly I'm exactly the same. My first response tests arrived today and I must have looked at the a hundred times. There's no way it'll be positive before Monday/Tuesday at the very very earliest.. and even then really!

So I'm obsessing over here just as much, don't you worry. 😂

Thank you, it's definitely very costly but so so worth it. Just keeping everything crossed that this beautiful little embryo keeps snug and gets cosy in there.

I'm even praying for the hyperemesis clouded Christmas at this point!!!

Got everything crossed for you!

Sounds like a busy day and one to hopefully take your mind off things.

Ohhhh that’s interesting!!🤔 I always thought if I was, I’d have a few symptoms as I tend to get quite bloated from 6/7 DPO, and get sore boobs a few days before AF normally 9/10 DPO. But as it stands my usually bloating hasn’t appeared. I’d be really shocked if it was this month as I was the most stressed I’ve ever been leading up to ovulation as I had an appointment for a scan and it really got to me, then I ovulated 4-6 days later than I ever have! But who knows

FlakyAquaQuoter · 30/11/2024 12:00

@CatLady93 - It's my favourite time! The possibilities are endless.
I usually get my shopping delivered but forgot to bloody check out, and I'm out of a few basics so I definitely need to make the trip.
So I'll just have to make it worth my while!
