I’m going to take a little break while waiting for AF and try to switch off from the world of TTC. Will be back with updates later in the cycle!

Heartypandaa · 14/11/2024 14:06

I'm with @littlebluu in this, next cycle i wOuld ditch the app the LH test, and the calendar and wont track anything and just be, maybe taking off the stress will help. But for now i have to get the damn AF, my cycle is unusually long this time around probably because of the CP or the HSG procedure,i started having sore boobs, usually af shows after few days of soreness.

@HE93C i struggled With LH testing, i feel ur frustration, i didnt caught a peak this cycle: maybe just dtd every other day and keep testing ofc. You never knw you might catch it.

@ThisOchreTiger happy birthday to you lovely may this year be the one for you 💫

Lila34830 · 14/11/2024 13:45

@KT199 definitely planing on resting until I am done with the big AF.

Have a lovely end of week girls, I might take a tiny break until I'm LH testing again 😅 I think it will do me good.

(I'll deffo still be watching in the background ☺️)

Xxxx

@HE93C I think the same as @KT199 keep tracking twice a day, and it's a good sign !

I said it before but in case you missed it I watched this video from a gynaecologist and she said there's no late period, only late ovulation. So Lutheal phase should remain the same, but your ovulation date can vary. If you ovulate later this cycle, you will have later period :) idk if it helps but I know somehow it helped me understand my cycle better

Still bleeding over here, Cd2 I guess, but a way heavier period than usual because of the CM. I've taken some iron tablets just in case as I feel so tired and weak !

Rest up and take it easy if you’re feeling unwell! 🫶🏻 self care is so important ❤️

ThisOchreTiger · 14/11/2024 13:31

I think we’re pretty close @HE93C , I’m just a few days ahead of you. I had light cramping on my right side the day my LH peaked, assumed that was ovulation. Maybe that’s what you’re feeling? I’m sorry about your miscarriage. That would definitely contribute to overthinking.
@littlebluu maybe if you take a break from trying for a month? It really does take over! Stress has such an impact on our health. You could just take a month to focus on you and the things you enjoy.

There’s so much conflicting info out there isn’t there! So hard to get your head around it all!

sorry about your CP, fingers crossed you feel better soon from it too! Xx

Thank you! I’m very new to all of the testing and tracking, when we got pregnant the first time when I miscarried, we had only just stopped using condoms, 4 weeks before our wedding and I thought “it probably won’t happen before the wedding” … turned out it happened within a week of stopping the condoms.

I think that’s why I feel so frustrated and impatient now 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

oh how many days is your usual cycle? I’m usually 26/27 but was 25 last month. Got my fingers crossed for us both for Monday & Tuesday haha!

Sorry you had to go through the MC 😔. Fingers crossed for a lucky cycle this month 🤞

The waiting is horrendous, I feel like times stood still but also moving so quickly, how is it almost 2025?! This will be our 4th cycle trying, so I’ve not done the testing very long either but I have a very unhealthy obsession with googling and trying to find out everything in my power 😂.

Mine are 27-29 days depending when I’ve ovulated, I’ve had one shorter cycle of 25 when I first had my implant removed last year. My luteal phase is 12 days 99% of the time. 25 is still considered a normal cycle length so don’t let that worry you😊 and a bit of variation here and there is also completely normal!

HE93C · 14/11/2024 13:04

KT199 · 14/11/2024 12:58

Ahh you probably haven’t peaked then, but they could still be ovu pains in the lead up I guess.. Google does say some women feel the pain, but personally I don’t think I do.

Watery CM is a good sign your follicles are growing as watery CM normally is a result of estrogen rising which happens before you tend to get the EWCM at the point of ovulation 😊

Keep testing twice a day and I’m sure your rise will appear !

We’re quite close in cycles, my ovu is predicted for Tuesday! But from past cycles could be anywhere between mon-wed.

Apologies, I meant 0.08 🤦🏽‍♀️ typo!!

I did have a bit of CM earlier in the week but this is my first time tracking and I barely get any, and I think it’s more like watery than EW so it’s hard to know. I’ll do another test this afternoon to see if it’s increased since this morning but I really wasn’t expecting it for another few days x

@HE93C you might be rising or peaking ! If your base is 0.1 then 0.8 is definitely showing arise in LH.
I would DTD, there's still time :) also normally with LH strips you should test twice a day because your peak can be so quick and come down so fast , I hope this helps !

I would have a few @ThisOchreTiger and not over do it as such, but equally it’s your birthday and if you want to let loose then do so! I’ve found that planning for the “potential” only makes it hurt that bit more if it doesn’t happen and I regret not doing what I’d have liked to in the moment as it clearly wasn’t for the greater good as I felt at the time.

Happy birthday for the weekend!!

@Lila34830 @littlebluu 100% I really don’t think men are really subjected to any of the stress and worry like we are, but also we don’t have to “perform” on demand like I am expecting my OH to do whenever I say we need to have sex today 🤣

@HE93C it could be ovulation, have you had any other signs it could be earlier like EWCM?

@littlebluu keep testing lovely don't despair, last cycle I ovulated something ridiculous like cd24! 🩷
It is so tiring though isn't it, the mental load is heavy .... I was saying this to my husband yesterday. It's a lonely journey even though it takes 2 to tango, it only takes one woman to actually feel, plan, calculate etc

Thank you 🥰
It really is such a load to carry, constantly thinking about testing and hormones and supplements and twinges 😅
I'm really ready to pack it all in and just try completely naturally for a few months, now I have a rough estimate of when I should ovulate. DTD isn't authentic anymore, it's all business and I really do think it makes a difference when it's approached naturally instead of scheduled in. I feel like just allowing myself to believe if it's meant to be our baby will be conceived naturally without tracking a million things - I know thats not how biology works 😆 But I feel like I need to think of it in that sense even for a couple of months to allow my brain a break from test strips 😅

Morning ladies! And a happy birthday @ThisOchreTiger when it comes! I know how you feel my MIL is the same so I always try and have a "drink" in my hand when she approaches 😆😆

I genuinely think I'm out this cycle already ladies! I had such a short period (only 3 days) and Flo is predicting ovu for tomorrow but I'm still nowhere near LH surge - I'd been testing every 2nd day CD4-CD10 and it rose to .19 then surged on CD11 (Monday) afternoon up to .32 but I only tested once that day as .32 is still very low and I was expecting it to slowly surge from there, since then testing twice a day its dipped way down to .17 and back up sitting at .23 for the last 2 days, I get a very fast surge and short peak and so I fear it's all happened on Monday night and I've missed it 🤯🤯

I'll keep testing but I think due to having only a 26 day cycle, I've had a super fast ovulation and missed out!
I'm starting to get really frustrated with everything and it's almost making me resent it all 😔

@HE93C I actually felt ovulation on my right side the day I ovulated last cycle, which cd are you ? Could be that ??

CD9 today. I measured yesterday morning and was 0.18 LH and then this morning 0.8. Now I’m worried I should have tested last night in case I was coming to peak however, my readings were CD6 - 0.13, CD7 - 0.2 so the 0.18 yesterday on CD8 isn’t too out of the ordinary. I’ve had 0.11 previously as normal too so 0.8 today doesn’t sound too low.

I’ll DTD today just in case but I wasn’t expecting it till the weekend at the earliest, Monday according to the app 🤷🏽‍♀️ so confusing isn’t it!

Thanks for all the reassurance ❤️ I know that chances are it’d be totally fine to have a drink, but probably won’t because my anxiety and moods are all over the place 🙈 too early to be pregnancy related so it’s either stress or ovulation.
@HE93C I think I’ll do that, have a “doctor visit” today!!

I think I’m just behind you cycle wise as my ovulation is due Monday ish according to my app. I’ve started tracking my LH to see as I’ve struggled to find a peak previously.

I am slightly concerned that I’ve got some cramping on my left side - period pain like but I’ve had it very faintly for a few days and today it seems to have got worse. The only thing I’m worried about is it’s the same place where I had the pain when I miscarried 7.5 weeks ago - has anyone ever experienced similar?

maybe ovulation cramps or something but just overthinking.

ThisOchreTiger · 14/11/2024 11:36

Earlier posters who said your cycle acts up once you start trying are so right, normally I get like this the few days before AF 😭
Either way I’m going to relax and enjoy the evening. Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!! ❤️❤️

You could always start planting the seed now if you say you’ve been to docs/dentist - last time I had to do this before my MC I said I’d got an infection in my tooth as I know the antibiotics they give you for that type of thing they say deffo don’t drink on!

maybe tell your parents you’ve been to the dentist today for toothache and that they’ve given you tablets, you can’t drink on them and it’s half way through the course so don’t want to miss any 🤷🏽‍♀️

Morning @ThisOchreTiger I would have a couple ! At that stage implantation would likely not have happened and placenta not formed to pass anything to your baby so I think you're safe !
