Hello! just popping in to see how you were getting on. This is so weird isn't it? It must be driving you round the bend . You must be nearly two weeks late now? I'd definitely agree that you'll have to go and see the doc and get it checked out.

I know what you mean about suddenly getting used the idea. I was the same as nataliejane - we didn't have a third planned then I got pregnant by accident and lost her. After that I just wanted her back -DS1 is due any day now - took some trying though which was 'interesting' since DD1 and 2 were unplanned .

Haven't mentioned this to you before as I didn't want to worry you - I'll mention it now because I think your situation is different now to what mine was then. When I was PG with my MC, I knew straight away, way before a test could show it up. I even went to the docs and said, I need to prove I am. Doc was very kind but must have thought I was mad as I wasn't even due on at that point. Sensibly she said, 'just wait, you'll know soon enough'. Test(s!) came up positive as I expected then I lost her soon after (always felt she was a girl, I had a name and everything the moment I felt her presence ). This is why I thought / think you could be PG - sometimes you just know. There are so many hormones involved in all this and it is hard to explain to a DH / DP. I really hope you get some sort of resolution soon - I have heard of quite a few people who didn't get BFPs until they were nearly 20 weeks. Fingers crossed for the result you want - and soon!

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 17:55

Sure I am away now till Monday after next, but I hope you do go to the doctors and get some answers before I am back!

Good luck

NatalieJane · 02/05/2008 13:20

It is always the way, we weren't planning a third at all, then I had the MC, and from then we've been TTC'ing, well only started last month but it was the MC that got us talking about it!

I do think you should go to the doctors, if you were pregnant (and the pos. tests suggest you were) and now you're not, you need to find out why you aren't losing blood. It can be very dangerous to leave it. Seriously, get it checked out.

sureitsno3 · 02/05/2008 13:12

Na, not much point me thinks just have to wait for AF to arrive, its funny i started off really not wanting to be pg, but with trying to get my head around it all we had got used to the idea, so who knows maybe i will be joining TTC soon.

Sure what's happening?

Disenchanted · 01/05/2008 08:11

sorry cant find the photo, but lots of people saw it and were giving me congratulations ect..

Disenchanted · 01/05/2008 08:09

I really am baffeled!

I CAN see the line but if im going to be totally honest with you i did lots of tests in the last month and taking them out of the case gives you a line with colour

I did it with a first resonse. see profile, thats a negative but out of the case for a while.

Was sure last week you were PG though.

Dont get the clearblues :S were definatly blue lines on those!

NatalieJane · 01/05/2008 08:03

I can't see any line on the top one...bloody monitors...

Second the go to the doctors thing, but if you know your GP is crap, see the nurse instead, don't bother with the doc.

Whatever happens, keep us up-dated, I am with Squack, I love these threads! (Bet you us for loving you going through all of this!)

Squack · 01/05/2008 07:11

You'll never know unless you go

I would be very surprised if he didn't test you, either urine/blood, then if it's negative he can look for reasons why you are so late.

sureitsno3 · 30/04/2008 22:11

Oooooh right, my GP is a waste of space tbh, doubt he will do bloods for me, back to waiting again then, i just want my AF NOW!

Yes I had a positive last month with the same brand. I tested a couple of days later with the last test, as you do, and it was negative, but I couldn't really tell because of the daft reflecty window.

I took the test apart (within the time limit) and had a look, as the test was drying it was clear it was an evap line.

I started bleeding a couple of days later.

Don't know why you aren't bleeding though if you aren't pg.

That's why I think the GP's is the best bet. If they draw blood it will give you a beta number for the hcg in your system, which will let the doc know (based on how late you are) whether the pg is viable, progressing, or whether meds are needed to bring your period on.

Either way at least you'll know what's going on.

I'm not bored btw, I lurrve these threads :D

OracleInaCoracle · 30/04/2008 22:01

taking it out of the casing speeds up the evap lines. sorry.

sureitsno3 · 30/04/2008 21:58

It was within the 10mins, don't get me wrong i am not desperate to be pg, has this happened to you with this brand Squack?

OP posts:
Squack · 30/04/2008 21:54

No Sure that's a negative with maybe the start of an evap line, which happens to the Sainsbury's tests when you take them out of the casing.

hiccymapops · 30/04/2008 21:35

hiya sureitsno3 i've seen you on the due Dec thread I'm sorry you still don't know one way or the other yet. Pregnancy tests can be a nightmare! With both mine i did loads of tests, and all the expensive ones (didn't do a FR though) i couldn't really tell. Asda cheapies worked best for me. It's enough to drive you mad! Hope you find out soon and i see you back on the thread

sureitsno3 · 30/04/2008 21:29

Ah good

Panicked a bit then Was there before i took out of the case though, good god i am sure someone is trying to torture me

OP posts:
OracleInaCoracle · 30/04/2008 21:28

unfortunately (and im really sorry to say this) taking it out of the case affects the test. think you will have to wait til monday im afraid and get a blood test. sorry.

sureitsno3 · 30/04/2008 21:25

Yes, the main one on the first page. I had to take it out as it kept reflecting the flash, don't know if that would have caused a prob.

So pissed off now

OP posts:
OracleInaCoracle · 30/04/2008 21:22

is it the top one?

sureitsno3 · 30/04/2008 21:21

I know this is very boring now

What do you think?
