Diege · 25/04/2008 20:08

Sounds a good deal squarky - all too complicated for me though - gave up on my persona a while back, and just rely on good old EWM now I wonder how many other people know they are the same sticks? Sneaky eh!
Yes, was wondering about Nat; hope she's ok!
Hi BB, are you OK?

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 20:06

I am here BB!

Squackycake · 25/04/2008 20:01

VERY IMPORTANT *MESSAGE

I use a persona instead of a cb fertility monitor, but they're pretty much the same thing. Anyhoo, this month with money burning a hole in my pocket I bought a CB digital OV kit (a little device with 5 or 7 test sticks, can't remember exact amount, for £22.99 in Boots.

It's a great bit of kit, uber-precise and when you hit your surge it gives you a symbol. The only drawback is you can't buy replacement sticks and a then stuffed every month for another whole kit

HOWEVER, today I bought a new box of persona sticks and at 5pm I put on in the CB digi, poas and lo and behold a face. I realised yesterday the 2 types of sticks looked identical and when I rang the helpline over a faulty reading, the website gives info on Persona and CB on the same webpage. They are obv the same bloody things!!

What this means girls is for £23 (or £18.38 in Sainsburys) you get a kit for one month then replacement opk sticks for about £8-9, which will last you another 2 months.

Sooooooo cheap!!

anyone still around??x

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 18:32

I dunno, I was thinking that earlier. Maybe her back has been hurting her too much to type.

Anonymoos · 25/04/2008 18:22

Where's Nat been all afternoon?

Playingthewaitinggame · 25/04/2008 18:11

Bye everyone. I am off too now otherwise DH will be annoyed that I am not at home. Gonna take my details off my MN profile now so if anyone else want to find me on FB they would be better trying to do it through Kay, Moos, Deige, Star or Squack. Otherwise it will have to wait till Mon when I will put me details up again.

Have a good weekend.

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 18:06

I will do Star! I am taking the camera this time so will show you all some pics! Might even get DH to take a picture of me with my falls in.

Have a good weekend Star.

Diege · 25/04/2008 18:06

Ahh Star you made it into the gym with but a minute to spare . I am going to try and do my Davina dvd tonight, to make up for scoffing dds left-over chicken nuggets for tea
Hope to get back on later, but if not hope everyone has a good weekend

Starshinetiger · 25/04/2008 18:01

Right Ladies, am off now to gym. have lovely weekends - Moos, doubt I'll be in Asda in Taunton, but will wave in that direction (if I can figure out where that is)!!
Thanks for your friend requests - have accepted them, but it's about as far as it gets with me, I'm not very proficient at facebook.
Kay - enjoy the Goth weekend.

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 17:22

Thanks Playing, I have put it in a bun but will also do the towel thing. Might be more comfortable.

Playingthewaitinggame · 25/04/2008 17:21

Maybe Moos. I think I was born middle aged!

Playingthewaitinggame · 25/04/2008 17:20

Well I normally just put it up in a really really high bun (looks a bit daft but who cares) and roll up an old towel to go on the bath for my neck to rest on. Works pretty well and I have reasonbly long hair

Anonymoos · 25/04/2008 17:18

I've always felt old for my age, maybe because I grew up with 2 older brothers?

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 17:18

He loves playing with the keyboard.

I have a hair dilemma. I need to wash it in the morning so I can put it up so my falls will stay in. But I want to have a bath. I have put my hair up but I know it will get wet. So any ideas of how to keep it dry?

Playingthewaitinggame · 25/04/2008 17:16

Hi Kay's DS

I know what you mean, hardly any of my school or college mates are married yet and none have kids. I feel so much older than many of them too.

Diege · 25/04/2008 17:14

Oh and to make you all feel even younger, I was the last year of O'levels before they changed to GSCEs

Diege · 25/04/2008 17:13

Awww

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 17:07

I think DS means hello

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 17:07

sswwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwws2r2aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwww222222223f

Anonymoos · 25/04/2008 17:02

I know what you mean Kay, a lot of my school friends are still single and just starting out in careers, I started working 10 years ago, have got married and had 2 babies! Our school reunion will be next year, 11 years on

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 16:52

I feel old sometimes. Like when I see my school friends of FB still living at home and not even thinking about having kids and here I am married with one ds and one on the way.
