tee hee, sneaky full explosion I would say, Moos .
Hi GJ, good to hear from you! How are things with dh?
Well, much happier here as L has done the world's biggest, knarliesy looking poo I have ever seen, in the bath!!!!! Just as dh was on the way back up the hill on his bike with the dreaded suppositories!!!
We are having a takeway to celebrate the new arrival!

Moosma · 26/04/2008 15:53

Nat, I saw that film in the cinema, I was bawling at the first part too

Hello GJ, haven't seen you here for a while, was wondering only yesterday where you'd got to, how's things with your stubborn man DP?

More EWCM this afternoon, do you think I should tell DH or sneakily allow a full explosion??

Hope so Teuch! Dh gone to get suppositories - poor thing, if she knew what was coming! Will go and try a warm bath I think - doesn't help that she has a 'thing' about baths at the mo'

TheSlightestTeuch · 26/04/2008 14:06

it is not as bad as you think it will be, Diege! Plenty of ky/vaseline...

Aright NJ?

Diege · 26/04/2008 13:25

Good afternoon you mean! We were started to get worried there!!! Glad back seems to be easing up . Think I'll give that dvd a miss!
BB, what on earth were you watching? . Those sorts of progammes are stragely compulsive though - I remember being in tears after watching that series few months ago about mums preparing their kids for when they (the mums) would die - they all had a terminal illness Dh can't understand why I watch them..he gets really cross.
Well, L has been prescribed (over the phone) glycerin suppositories and movicol medicine to get things shifting. Am really nervous about putting them in!! Had a snigger to myself on the 'phone as dishy-sounding gp asked me if I had any KY jelly in the house (any other call and I'd have slammed the phone down ). I mean, what to say???.
Dh gone to get them, so will get my sleeves up and get prepared!

NatalieJane · 26/04/2008 12:34

Good morning (at bloody last!!!)

Back is still not right but isn't hurting very much now

Diege, Sorry DD is still blocked up, the poor thing, and you! Hope you get an appointment soon.

BB, I am the same with programs like that, I have to turn them over, in fact I have taken to not turning them on! We watched a film the other night, can't remember what it was called now, but it started with them showing loads of family camcorder clips of this 'perfect' happy family, the kids growing up, having a giggle, birthdays, christmas', soccer matches, hockey matches etc. and then the film started and the eldest kid had his throat slashed by someone who was carrying out an initiation to a gang, I sobbed, and sobbed and sobbed, especially when the hospital told the mum he had died, would have been a good film if it had have carried on like that, but it went down from there on in.

Also of all your holidays, we went to Menorca last August, but it was pretty crap if I'm honest, seems like we never went now though!

Well, it seems like I am talking myself into pregnancy symptoms, even before I have OV'ed! How does that work? Bloody TTC'ing! And I am getting more and more pissed off at having gotten to CD22 without having OV'ed. Or certainly without having noticed I have OV'ed!

Am deffo getting some OV sticks next cycle (when ever the bloody hell that will be!!!)

Oh the DVD was called Death Sentance.

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 26/04/2008 12:21

the poor lil one she is so brave about it all, and its just finished and after all of that the poor poor girl died its just not fair

TheSlightestTeuch · 26/04/2008 12:17

BB . I can't watch these things, too distressing!

And when I was pg, I sobbed at x-factor (the one where they tell their families if they got in or not)...I swear...the arm of the sofa was soaking!!

TheSlightestTeuch · 26/04/2008 12:16

get her in a warm bath whilst you are waiting, and definitely get the vaseline going as it might just give enough lubrication for the blockage to shift...

Then some skipping, frog jumps, and and air bike race (cycling legs in air!)

T'is no suprise she won't have an appetite, as she will be bagged up.

Honestly, if the califig hasn't gotten things moving, then chances other orals will just churn up her insides.

Hope you get seen soon!

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 26/04/2008 12:11

god if im this emotional when i dnt
have DC ill be awful when i do! im am sobbing my heart out over this poor little girl who has had two transplants ( heart and lung) ...sometimes i think its gd to cry tho, they showed the donor child and that was it, i am sobbing, the poor poor children

Diege · 26/04/2008 12:04

That would make sense teuch. We've had lots of wind and her tummy is more bloated than ever. Am waiting to hear back from the emergency clinic, but could be several hours they say...Friend suggested the suppositories, but thought I'd try movicol(?) first on prescription. Will let you know when we have news!

TheSlightestTeuch · 26/04/2008 11:58

Deige - the bother with Califig (orange juice, etc) is that it just builds up behind the blockage, giving them a wee sore tum.

My neice got glycerin suppositories, which I have used once with DS. They work almost instantly. Not nice but very effective. I hate to say it, but a sliver of unperfumed soap, also works.

I usually start by trying to encourage a lump of vaseline up there first...

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 26/04/2008 11:37

aw diege poor DD! doesnt sound nice !

Diege · 26/04/2008 11:35

Thanks Moos, list looks great! Lol at 'up the duff' refs...I wonder how long till we have that next to everyone?
poor dd3, we must get her an appointment asap. She's straining and red in the face virtually all of the time now and won't eat either

CosmogirlIsStillWaiting · 26/04/2008 11:12

We need to bring the list across from the old thread. I'm not sure how to paste it. Whenever I've tried before it won't let me paste it....

When it comes across, Geordie wanted to be moved back to June/July I think...

CosmogirlIsStillWaiting · 26/04/2008 11:10

Yep, really excited about the holiday - should be great. Will be doing lots of reading, swimming, sunbathing, cooking, Gofing... Should take my mind of ttc as well - hopefully. We go at the end of June till early July, so not long

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 26/04/2008 10:47

yeah diege, it wasnt really anything that major she just needed some firm action, she is grounded for the foreseeable future, i just dont want her continuing off the rails x
