I second LL. You rock Diege!!

I made another fairly amusing typo today. I put BVAC instead of VBAC. I keep trying to come up with something else it could stand for but am failing!

Diege I just wanted to say that I have briefly looked over our last thread and I am horrified about the way you were treated and the way they spoke to you. I know that it is all water under the bridge now but I wasn't around when it happened and just wanted you to know that you have really helped my over the last 4 months with your kind words and helpful hints. I would have been a mess without you (and our fellow ladies of this mighty fine TTC thread) after my failed attempts.

I look forward to your posts and miss you when you are not here. You make me laugh (You are almost as funny as I am when it comes to cracking the jokes ) and glad to be a member of this thread.

I hope that you are ok now and have put this behind you, I am sending you a big belated hug and hope to speak to you soon....

And this goes for everyone else here too, I look forward to going to work now as I can catch up with you mighty fine people?. Right I am going to remove my nose from all your backsides now??.. brown nose lardy I am know as

kayzisexpecting · 29/04/2008 16:51

I'm glad you got your payrise Playing. Like Teuch said its better than nothing. I get a pay rise every year but its only an extra 8p an hour.

We have had gorgeous sunshine all day. Its been lovely. Shame I haven't been bothered to do something.

Cals, they're Jellycat, DD1 has an elephant too, Father Christmas brought them They're very soft, especially the rabbit

TheSlightestTeuch · 29/04/2008 16:07

THenk you!!

I just did a clear blue which arrived in the post - could only squeeze out a dribble so definitely not enough to get it working! Had to put it under tap briefly and it still came up quickly with a nice strong positive I am sure that is not in the instructions...

Anyway, I have to go and tell my sister now, since we are planning a nght out at the weekend...

Playing - good for you! And it is better than a kick up the you-know-what!

popcornprincess · 29/04/2008 16:03

woo hoo - congrats Teuch. )A little late, I know). I'm really happy for you

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/04/2008 15:58

OOO sorry to hear about the bad night sleep -didn't really have time to read through the thread properly.

Thanks everyone for the congrats. Not sure its deserved for a measley 1k never mind, spose its better than nothing.

NatalieJane · 29/04/2008 15:54

Cal my sister (in Cheltenham) pays her cleaner £20 a week for about 2 and half hours work, so probably around about right.

Pop, looks like you will have to get the news from the horses mouth!! (I'll give you a clue, look at the lastest list! )

DS1 still has his Doodles teddy from when he was about 6 months, it is now demoted to the end of his bed, while he looks after DS2's 'new baby' teddy (which is a little bit less smelly and raggied!) DS2 has a tonne of teddies but he only bothers with one that 'Father Christmas' gave him at mums and tots, it is a beany rather than a teddy, and he isn't all that interested it, but it is the closest he get's to playing with a teddy!

calsworld · 29/04/2008 15:44

Ooh, I took ages to post and there's loads of messages!

Moos - that's really funny! Also, re cleaning, I don't get any time to do any - I'm constantly knackered and despite what they say on the "how to juggle it all and be brilliant mums / workers / cleaners" threads, I can't do it - have just been on the phone to find out how much a cleaner costs....

£11.25 per hour.

So how many hours will I need? Is that a lot?

calsworld · 29/04/2008 15:41

Playing - well done in your review!

Moosma - Piccies are brilliant by the way! They look like lovely toys too. DS hasn't got any soft toys he really plays with, except a little Iggle Piggle that he cuddles whilst watching In the Night Garden, and then casually discards!

Moosma · 29/04/2008 15:39

for your payrise Playing, for your sun GJ, it's been p*ing down all day here. Speaking of naughty language, DD1 said 'shit' earlier. Several times. I asked her where she'd heard it and she said 'Daddy said it in the workshop'. I told her that Daddy should have had a smacked bottom for saying that and she hasn't said it again!

Welcome back Pop!

Moosma · 29/04/2008 15:36

I'm so sick of cleaning! I've done 4 loads of washing and have washed 2 toys. I just sniffed rabbit's ears and they still smell yucky so are soaking again. Also I just turned around from hoovering and caught DD1 drawing on her white top with black biro! Will it never end???

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOO there!!!!

Right - whats the news with Teuch? Reckon I have some serious catching up to do!

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/04/2008 15:05

Afternoon ladies,

You've all been busy on here.

Moos - love the pics.

Well my review went ok yesterday. I still have my job which is a good thing and I also got a 1k pay rise. Quite shit really, particularly as I am underpaid, but as I was the only one in the UK to get any kind of pay rise this year I shouldn't moan. No one else got one at all, not even inflationary and the warehouse staff now haven't had one for 2 years! Still at least I def shouldn't be effected by the scrapping of the 10p base rate now whereas I was a bit too close for comfort before. Damn stingy french company, if all our staff had got the rise the teachers were striking about they would be happy!

Hows everyone else?

kayzisexpecting · 29/04/2008 14:56

I might have to go to the shop when DH gets home to get some food.

NatalieJane · 29/04/2008 14:49

I got the point with DS2 where I could have eaten the whole kitchen, including the cupboards, sides, sink...! It did pass, and I tried not to eat much more than I would have normally, else I really would have been the size of a house!

kayzisexpecting · 29/04/2008 14:46

I am so I have been trying to get to sleep on the sofa for most of the day but just not managed it.

Did anyone else feel starving during their pregnancy? I am bloody starving and nothing seems to be filling me up.

NatalieJane · 29/04/2008 14:42

OMG, just feel asleep on the sofa, which is very un-like me, I hate sleeping in the day, I only woke up when DS2 was crying his eyes out after his nap! Good job it was before 3 o'clock!!

LOL at pics Moos, glad she is seeming a bit better.

We've not had any lunch or anything
