I keep looking at girls clothes and dh keeps moaning at me for it. I might order some nice white vests etc. Just to kerb the craving for baby clothes.

NatalieJane · 30/04/2008 07:39

LOL I had the same problem with DS2 (December baby as well) I consoled myself with buying vests, sleepsuits, muslins, bibs, socks etc. of course it meant that he ended up with about 100 new born vests, that he had grown out of by the time he was 2 weeks old!! LOL

kayzisexpecting · 30/04/2008 07:34

I do think its a good idea.

Now me wanting to buy baby clothes already is stupid. Its all summer stuff so it would be no good buying anything.

NatalieJane · 30/04/2008 07:29

Yes but you're pregnant, I most deffo am not!

I can't be the first person to buy clothes in advance, can I? And if I stick to the basics, then if it took 6 months to get pregnant, so I'd be needing winter stuff more than summer stuff, then I can't go too wrong, can I? I just don't like being at the point like I was last month when my belly was huge, and not being able to wear anything with out hair boubles wrapped round the button on my trousers, and tops that stopped short of my belly button!

I think I am going mad..... but I think I am going to do it anyway! Especially because if it does happen sooner rather than later, I won't be able to hide my bare belly under my coat!

kayzisexpecting · 30/04/2008 07:05

I have ordered some stuff already Nat. There isn't a shop here selling maternity clothes so I have got a few tops and some trousers.

I think it is a very sensible idea.

I have got back into my watching baby programs. Good thing DH isn't here as he always moaned.

NatalieJane · 30/04/2008 06:57

Good morning chatterboxes! (Got rid of some of the pent up pyscho-like anger!!)

I am not even going to join in the football talk, it all goes straight over my head!!

Diege, nope calpol wasn't me (both the DS's would swallow the whole bottle if I let them!) but yes remember the CC thing, it does seem a looooooong time ago! It worked though!! DS2 still goes in his cot, either wide awake so bangs about for a bit and then goes to sleep, or he just goes in and is asleep in less than 2 minutes! And 9 times out of 10 if he ever does wake up in the night (normally because DS1 has woken him up - he didn't do CC!!) he will settle himself. I still to this day can't get over how easy it was, for both of us!

Well it is pay day today (hoooooorayyyyy!!! ) so will be in town most of the day morning! I have made a slightly odd decision.....

Going off my last two pregnancies, if I get pregnant, I am going to need maternity clothes within days of finding out, and since we don't have a single shop that sells maternity clothes in town, I would have to order from the net, which takes time, time when I would be squished into jeans that are too tight and tops that don't cover my boobs let alone anything else. So I am going to start getting a few things to put away for when the time comes. Nothing flashy yet, just some basic trousers/tops so I am not left with a clothes nightmare every day.

Am I mad? In fact, don't answer tthat!! LOL I think it is slightly wrong, but sensible, what do you think?

kayzisexpecting · 30/04/2008 06:38

I might do. I'm going to try and nap when DS does.

Have a good day Diege.

Diege · 30/04/2008 06:36

Morning . Oh no Kay you poor thing . Any chance of getting 40 winks before work tonight?
Crazy hour starts in a minute, but wanted to say hello in case I don't get a chance later!

kayzisexpecting · 30/04/2008 06:11

Morning.

I slept really badly last night. It was chucking it down with rain and as we are in the roof it was so bloody loud on our roof window. Then DS decided again that he wanted to get up with Daddy.

To top it all off I am back at work this evening.

Diege · 29/04/2008 21:51

That's my man . Thanks Kay!
Right, really off now!

I prefer AP when funds allow. They have some seriously sexy stuff there, hmmmmm

kayzisexpecting · 29/04/2008 21:40

Yes I think he is gorgeous. I met him once and stood like a complete dick with my mouth open. Luckily he thought it was funny. I love Fabregas who plays for Arsenal. He is so Lush!!

Michael Owen is nice too.
