Oh I'm sorry to read that Mummysparrow, any chance it's still just early?

Mummysparrow · 12/05/2025 20:59

Taken a FREar this evening and it was negative 😭 bloody clearblue and their evap lines

Esssa · 12/05/2025 11:23

Oh that's a tricky one @Mummysparrow I don't use blue dye tests so I'm no help. Official line is discard and retest. Fingers crossed for you.

Esssa · 12/05/2025 11:21

Thanks @BGxxx I hope so. I need to step away from the pee sticks but it's so hard. I'm having issues with my morning pee being too diluted to get a good result on the sticks. I'm a sucker for line progression which is not really happening. Think I need a different type of test than these cheapies and wait a couple of days. Then leave it alone! So worried it's going to be a chemical which I've never had before. I'm 2 children and 4 losses in and it doesn't get any easier.

Mummysparrow · 12/05/2025 11:17

So I took a test at work and I didn't see a line within a minute or two so went back to work. Looked at test again and hour later and this line is on it. Is it real or an evap?

@Esssa thats a great line! I definitely get that, its hard to get excited when you know what can happen

Esssa · 11/05/2025 20:55

Sorry this was supposed to be attached but it wasn't working

Well fingers crossed I'm pretty sure I've a bfp! Just got to wait and make sure it's not a chemical then I'll let epu know so they can book me in for a scan at 7 weeks. Feeling pretty weird about it tbh. I want to be excited but I'm also super numb about the whole thing at the same time.

Mummysparrow · 10/05/2025 12:39

@Ncl31 sage to say you like Cyprus then 😂 I am going to Paphos

Mummysparrow · 10/05/2025 12:17

6dpo and trying to not go crazy. I have convinced myself that I am pregnant so if the test doesn't show this on Wednesday there maybe a tantrum 😂😂 I have had some light cramping though none today, headaches and low level nausea/indigestion and fatigue. Plus I decided I no longer like broccoli last night 😂 if not pregnant then my body is just being cruel to me
@Ncl31 my next fertile cycle will be just before I go to Cyprus if this cycle isn't successful 😂 where in Cyprus are you going?

Fingers crossed it’s all good signs for you!
this time we’re going to Limassol. But when we go back in July we’re in Paphos.
we’ve already been to Paphos in March this year too.

Well ladies my second AF after my MMC is here. We didn’t particularly try last cycle because we were still waiting for our genetic results. Hoping that this cycle we can give it our best shot again. Looks like my fertile window will be when we’re in Cyprus

SnakebitesandSambucas · 02/05/2025 12:24

It's a horrible wait. But focus on what you can do. Physio exercises?

Matthew54 · 02/05/2025 11:56

I’m hopeful in that I have no lumps and that I’ve had a mild pec tear before. I am really really hoping I just ripped something rather than the alternative.

Two weeks to get seen is going to be agony.

SnakebitesandSambucas · 02/05/2025 11:53

Hi @Matthew54 I got frequent breast pain and lumps. Turns out I have mastalgia and it got worse after each of my misscarriges. Obviously always get checked out. The hand exam is not uncomfortable just odd. I took the myo insotol and coq 10 to try and regulate my hormones a bit which helped the breast pain.

Matthew54 · 02/05/2025 11:26

Hi team. I’ve been referred to the Breast Clinic for pain in my left breast armpit and the fact I can still self express from both breasts. I have no lumps. I’m hoping it’s just a pectoral muscle strain that’s exacerbated by daily activities, but im very freaked out at the moment. Not inclined to try until they see me and I can get a diagnosis.

I am not certain I would be this panicked if I hadn’t had a miscarriage and been betrayed by my body. I keep reading horrific posts about people who went in and suddenly get a stage 4 diagnosis.

Melusina123 · 01/05/2025 13:44

@Jemmy94 with both my MVAs there was a random bleed a few weeks later that was probably some retained something coming away, so it definitely can happen. In neither case was it big (but in the second case it was seen on a scan before it came away) so it’s very possible that it’s come with your period and it wouldn’t have been obviously much heavier. Fingers crossed for you.

Edited

Thank you for sharing, I am hoping that is what the scan will show today that its come away. Did your second show blood flow to the tissue? I have everything crossed that it's come away.

@Fullofconfusion I had similar. My tests didn’t fully go negative until my period and it was so much heavier than I was used too. So not sure if something was left behind or it was just coincidence

Fullofconfusion · 01/05/2025 11:14

@Jemmy94 I have no experience of this being confirmed although my first period after my termination (medical management) was incredibly heavy and I did pass some tissue so suspect that I maybe did have some retained tissue and this helped to shed anything left there. Hope you have some hopeful news at the scan.

@Ncl31I hope the appointment went well.

I am now 13dpo and I’ve had several positive tests. This also happened back in February and it was a chemical so I’m still very very cautious about feeling happy.

My back story also includes a TFMR last June at 22 weeks so I definitely find the whole TTC journey a worry but hopefully this one sticks

@Fullofconfusion Thank you for sharing your experience, I think I may have passed some but AF started off heavy on day 1 but by day 2 it was quite light and has been since. I'll find out tomorrow I guess. Thank you I'm hoping best case scenario is my bodies sorted itself out.

Hi everyone, sorry to hear so much sad news lately on the thread. I'm hoping you all get some answers soon.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience of retained tissue after an MVA? I had a scan done 3 weeks ago that confirmed I had 1.7mm of retained tissue. The plan so far was to wait until my period and scan again (appointment this Friday for the scan) to see if it would come away naturally. I'm currently day 4 of AF, failing it coming away I will have to have surgery again, just wondering if anyone had success with their retained tissue coming away with their period?

Figtree11 · 30/04/2025 10:58

Thank you @Mummysparrow It took 9 months to conceive this time to just end in loss again, can’t believe this is what my life is. How are you doing?

@Ncl31 i hope it’s a good appointment and that you feel well supported

We have our fertility centre follow up this afternoon.
looking forward to hearing what plan they may have for us.
at least then we can look forwards and not dwell entirely on the past.
id just like to know which direction we’re going in

SnakebitesandSambucas · 30/04/2025 07:57

Hugs too all xx
