Oh @Nic2908 that sounds so hard. You definitely don’t need to get a grip at all. How many DPO are you now, when would your period have been due? I’ve not had a chemical before so don’t know what it’s like, but I can fully appreciate the stress & anxiousness you must be feeling. It’s so unfair that it’s not a straight forward case of getting a positive test & then that’s it. I really hope things work out for you, but I’m so sorry you are having to experience this

Ladies I’m on a rollercoaster. My tests have lines but they are not progressing very fast, and if anything they had a where they went lighter. Freer is just starting to look like it’s getting stronger but not where it should be. And on the simple one step strips there is a line but you can hardly see it. Digital is saying pregnant, but it takes forever to come up and even though you shouldn’t when I opened up the test there is only one line there not two. EPAU have said that they think it is going to be a likely chemical and to contact them in a week if my period hasn’t arrived. I feel like I am going insane. Late miss carriage, early miscarriage and the a chemical. Looks like I’m going to get the full t shirt doesn’t it 😢😢😢😢😢 you can even hear how neurotic I am through this post. I think I need your help to tell me to get a grip.

Period arrival for me today 😞 early too, at least I didn’t have to torture myself too long I guess.

I’m sorry 😔 It’s so horrible when it arrives

has anyone experienced ovulation whilst still having a positive pregnancy test? My MVA was 2 weeks ago. I’m still showing as pregnant on one step cheapy tests, although it was a feint line (didn’t have to squint or anything - it was still clearly there, just light) but on the flip side, my body is 100% doing what it wouldndo during ovulation - I even got the pain in my overy this evening like I do. I was going to ttc straight away, but as my tests still come back as positive, my LH strips also read as high, and my temp is high too, so I feel like it would be pretty impossible to pinpoint any ovulation, and also date any possible pregnancy (if we were successful!) Do you think waiting it iut is the best course if action - I guess it would be better to have a truly negative pregnancy test so I knew the next (hopefully) bfp was real and not left over from the mmc. Gah - ttc is one big period of overthing and analysing isn’t it!

Yes I had signs of ovulation around 2 weeks after my miscarriage. My period came 2 weeks later so it tracks. My HCG was between 150 (measured at 1.5 weeks) and 25 (measured at 2.5 weeks). I did a pregnancy test at 3 weeks which was negative.

I think you can ovulate still with some HCG in your system, it's the drop which triggers it. After both my MCs it took 3 weeks for a blank pregnancy test but my period returned exactly 4 weeks later so there would have been some overlap x

Thanks guys. I’ve not tested again. Will just do another one tomorrow. Feel like such a fool for even getting slightly excited. I really should know better. It was a great positive day. Not fair at all.

So sorry @Nic2908 that was such a strong positive. Definitely test again tomorrow x

Figtree11 · 01/11/2024 07:07

@Joleyjojo its really difficult, its completely normal to feel like that. I also know someone who did a Halloween pregnancy announcement. Don’t know her too well, so i clicked like, and then muted her.

@Nic2908 sending love to you xxx

@Bellabubble i think the hcg left in your system is making the lh strips look positive. Not sure about the signs you are feeling though. If it were me, i would wait until your test is negative. If you were to get pregnant, I think you will feel stressed not knowing if you actually were pregnant or it was left over hcg from before. The EPU would want to see you too if you test positive for a couple more weeks, I had to go back in for a blood test when I was still testing positive 4 weeks after surgery as they need to make sure no retained products etc

@Superscientist congratulations! I hadn’t seen your post - I seem to not get regular notifications so when I do, it only ever takes me to the last post! I have my fingers crossed for you!

Bellabubble · 31/10/2024 23:55

@Nic2908 have you used frer before? I know when I was last ttc, another thread I was in (also ttc after loss) had a few ladies in there who never got results with a pink dye test. Not sure if that is official or anything, but have you got another brand to try with?

Nic2908 · 31/10/2024 22:37

@Superscientist i have just read through the chat congratulations cxxxxxxx

@Nic2908 the test looked so positive. Sorry it was negative this morning, what a rollercoaster. Have you tested again x

Joleyjojo · 31/10/2024 21:48

I’m in my first TWW following MMC. I am 4dpo and just wish I knew now, as we all do.
My boyfriends best friend just did a cutesy Halloween pregnancy announcement on social media , due date the same as what ours would have been. I feel like such a bitch as I just can’t bring myself to comment and congratulate. I will of course I will and I am happy for them just very sad for us.
sending lots of positive vibes to you all xxxxx

Ncl31 · 31/10/2024 21:32

@Figtree11 I’m okay thank you. Just counting down the days until AF is due.
@Nic2908 oh no, it looked so clear yesterday. Are you going to test again? How many DPO are you?

Figtree11 · 31/10/2024 07:21

@Mummysparrow i’m doing a bit better thank you. Trying to stay in the moment & not overthink which is helping.
I’m sorry you’re waiting on ovulation to come - our bodies are funny things. I’ve no advice, but hope it comes soon for you.

@Ncl31 thank you. How are you doing?

Oh I’m sorry @Nic2908 it was so clear yesterday. I’ve not used a frer before so not sure about them. Perhaps try again tomorrow?

Sorry ladies, I take it all back. Negative freer this morning 😢

Ncl31 · 31/10/2024 06:11

@Figtree11 I’m pleased you’re feeling a little better now, hopefully you feel even better this morning.
@Mummysparrow absolutely anything can throw ovulation off, are you feeling okay? Sometimes a cold can be enough to delay it, or stress? Hopefully it’s not too far away for you.

@Nic2908 oh wow! Congratulations, I hope this is the start of a train of good luck and BFPs

Mummysparrow · 30/10/2024 21:28

@Nic2908 congratulations
@Figtree11 I am just trying to catch up, how are you doing today?

I am cd12 and not had any ewcm yet so looking like ovulation is backed to being delayed as I usually get ewcm 2 days prior to LH peak. I don't get it as my blood have done back fairly normal with only slightly raised testosterone and AMH 🤦

@Ladyinpink1 thank you, trying to get myself into more of a positive mindset that I’m now at the start of a new cycle, however long that may be.
How many DPO are you? It’s really hard to not over analyse everything in the TWW. But sounds like you have a nice evening today ☺️

Wow @Nic2908 congratulations, amazing news!

@Figtree11 Flad you are a little better, hopefully tomorrow is better again.
I am good, I just hope this time hurrys up as I find the tww so stressful and crazy i'm thinking about every tiny thing wondering could this be something but then af arrives every single time, need to try and distract myself.
Had a nice bath there and now going to get dc to bed in a minute so I can binge on Hart of Dixie repeats until dh home... totally in my happy place lol. x

How is everyone else doing?
