@Figtree11 please don’t apologise. You didn’t ignore anyone, you were simply looking after yourself. Which should always be your priority. I’m sorry you’ve been feeling so down lately. Hopefully with the results of your tests and the plan in plan it’ll mean that you will get your sticky like bean that you so much deserve.

Figtree11 · 03/12/2024 19:56

Thanks @DonnaWhat I hadn’t heard of it either, but it’s an immune system disorder that causes an increased risk of blood clots. And this can cause recurrent miscarriage. The consultant said it’s very treatable, and I would have to be on aspirin & daily blood thinner injections throughout a pregnancy. Not sure yet what it means for my long term health.

So I feel ok about that, I feel better knowing there is a plan even though it’s not ideal. Now my mind is just so fixed on there being a problem for the long cycles, and I am so fed up of not having many chances to try conceive because of this. I just can’t pull myself out of this hole I’m in at the minute.

Thank you, I am sure I will take you up on that offer of a chat sometime xxx
Sending love to you & hope everything is progressing well x

@DonnaWhat thank you, that’s kind of you. I had to take a step back from the thread for my wellbeing. I have been struggling.
Had my first recurrent miscarriage clinic appt, they think I have APS syndrome, a blood clotting disorder. Waiting on another blood test result to confirm it. Have a treatment plan in place though which is positive. Also being tested for any hormone issues due to the irregular cycles.

CD40 something and no ovulation in sight, so I am just feeling very low. The festive season isn’t helping, it should be so different this year for me, yet it’s not, I’m grieving 2 losses instead of 1. Sorry that was a bit of a downer. I hope you are doing well?

Sorry I have ignored the rest of you, kind of had to just shut off from it all for a while

You're not a downer at all. You're completely entitled to feel the way you feel. I saw the thread had been quiet and thought id check in. I've never heard of aps but is it something they can treat? It's good to see you have a treatment plan in place. It might be a slighter longer road ahead but I have everything crossed for you. If you feel like stepping away from the thread then that's fine. If you ever want to talk or vent, reach out and drop me an inbox. I cam always be an ear to bend, don't forget that. Please do remember to love yourself beaut. 💝

My HCG has almost tripled in 48 hours 🥹🎉The nurse has booked me in for a scan in two weeks but she’s really happy with how my HCG has progressed.

I won’t let myself get excited yet until we’ve seen all is well on the scan but for now I’m cautiously optimistic that this might be a little miracle 🤞

Oh i love this miracle stories That s amazing congrats 🎉
How are you doing now?

Bellabubble · 02/12/2024 23:42

@TrulyMiss my first I tried right away and wasn’t successful for 8 cycles, my second I waited a cycle then fell straight away (who is now an energetic 3yo) and this time I wanted to try straight away but I’m 6.5weeks post mva and have done ovulation sticks each day but have had no peak - and no sign if AF - so may be forced to wait a cycle! I think it depends on how you feel and how ready you are x

TrulyMiss · 01/12/2024 10:26

Just joining in after a second missed miscarriage. Would love to hear his soon others tried again/how you felt about it? I am on clomid to stimulate ovulation so can't start that again until I have a period but I probably will ovulate myself before then and really torn about trying then. If I go for it I know I'll spend all of Christmas symptom spotting and hoping for a BFP when we're in Spain for new years. I don't really want to wait but feel like it might be better to give my head and body a break for a few weeks. Totally all of the place to be honest!

AF due in 2 days and I just have a feeling that it’s on its way! I’m just so fed up! It’s been so long now and absolutely nothing!! 12th cycle this month. There has to be something wrong

I’m so sorry you feel so fed up, I can completely sympathise with you. Although, let’s try to stay positive, you’re not out until AF actually arrives.
remind me, have you had any tests done?

@PensivePencil I’m holding out a little bit of hope for a miracle as this pregnancy itself is nothing short of a miracle given the circumstances but preparing for the worst as I don’t want to get my hopes up.

I had therapy for my missed miscarriage and ttc, it helped so much. I too was staying in a job I hated as I was too scared to move jobs in case I got pregnant. However my therapist said something to me that struck a cord. They asked how I would feel if in one years time I still wasn’t pregnant and was still in a job I hated, would I regret it? After that session I started looking for new jobs and landed my dream job. This job has taken away so much stress, given me a new focus and most importantly made me a lot happier.

Hi ladies! Will be Beginning to TTC in December, I’m booked in to have my copper coil removed on the 19th of December and hopefully baby no 3 will be conceived not too long after!😂 had 2 early losses both last November and last December and got the coil put in January this year as I felt I needed to process my losses before trying again.. now it’s been a year since my first loss I feel ready to start trying again and I’m so excited! Baby dust to all you lovely ladies and here’s hoping we all get the best Christmas present ever ;) 👶🏼 👣 🤍xx

PensivePencil · 25/11/2024 22:13

Sorry to hear that @Reyttc 😔 sounds like there’s still some hope for Wed though?

I had some spotting earlier, trying to convince myself it’s implantation bleeding, but pretty sure I know. Did everything perfectly this cycle too 🤷‍♀️

Ncl31 · 25/11/2024 19:58

Hi everyone, I believe I ovulated either Saturday or Sunday. My peak OPK wasn’t startling but I’ve had EWCM and a temp spike.
Hopefully we’ve done enough this cycle. DH is now away until 23rd December and Premom predicts I’ll ovulate next cycle on Christmas Day which if it’s right will be perfect timing for him coming home.
clearly, I’d rather not need to ovulate next month because I get a BFP. I’m due AF just before DH birthday. Whilst that would be lovely, we found out I was pregnant with our little bean on DHs birthday last year which sadly ended in mc.

Reyttc · 25/11/2024 14:33

Not good news from me sadly. After finally getting pregnant again 17 cycles after my missed miscarriage I think I’m having another loss.

My hcg is 140 today (I’m 4 weeks 4 days from last missed period however I did ovulate at cycle day 17 so I could be a few days earlier) so I need to go back for another test on Wednesday to see if it has doubled. The nurse said it was on the low side but did try to reassure me that I’m early.

I had a feeling something was wrong as my tests from 15dpo and 16dpo looked the same and this morning at 17dpo I only got 1-2 weeks on clearblue.

Beanie14 · 25/11/2024 01:27

Hi Hope everyone is doing ok, currently around 6dpo. Totally fed up with trying tbh.

PensivePencil · 24/11/2024 22:38

hey @DonnaWhat I’m 14DPO I think, period due on Tues…… I won’t test till after then. My head is completely and utterly scrambled with it all.

how are you getting on?

Confusedmermaid1 · 24/11/2024 22:04

@DonnaWhat by the time of my appointment he had backtracked after an apparent conversation with a colleague (I think looked at the nhs website tbh) and said 21 days is a normal cycle no testing until after another loss 🙄 I said it certainly wasn’t normal for me but it’s like talking to a brick wall
I’ve ordered hertility but it was too late to use by the time it came so if this cycle is not the one I’ll try it in the next one..

DonnaWhat · 24/11/2024 21:58

@Confusedmermaid1 I Hope you get some answers.

How is everyone? Where is everyone in their cycles?
