I should have known we could only post for 40 pages on the previous thread TTC after chemical pregnancy. If the others from the previous thread would like to join in, please feel free to do so. Also I don't want to tag anyone who is not willing to continue to post on this new thread.

Thank you @Northernsoul90 , I’m so sorry you and everyone else are on this thread 🤍 Good luck with this TWW 🤞🏻

ChristinaB1203 · 20/10/2024 18:31

I've tested this evening and the test is lighter than the ones this morning. Do we think that was my peak?

Northernsoul90 · 20/10/2024 18:25

@RoseannesMamma Sorry for your losses 💐I'm also currently ttc our second. I had a mmc before our first then had my daughter who's now 3. Had a chemical in June this year now on cycle 4 since then... it's so hard isn't it. The wondering and waiting and I feel like I can't get excited now when I see a positive. I'm in the TWW but trying to keep my mind occupied with other things x

@ChristinaB1203 They look almost positive, test again this eve? 🤞

Northernsoul90 · 20/10/2024 18:19

@Carportforme Thats really insensitive and disappointing I would definitely complain. Hope you're doing okay x

@EmTTC2 Sending baby dust your way then 🤞xx

RoseannesMamma · 20/10/2024 17:06

@ChristinaB1203 No nothing really came back from bloods here either! I’m 32 with a 2.5 year old. People always say “oh you’ve not been trying that long” and they’re right but also I just think loss after loss is grinding me down already! We were getting pregnant quite easily and just not able to stay pregnant like you but now nothings happening at all!

ChristinaB1203 · 20/10/2024 15:25

@RoseannesMamma Basically the same as us. I had my coil out in Feb, and fell right away but ended. Then took a break, tried again in summer, fell again in September but again ended in loss.

I've had bloods done at GP and all normal and fine, no reasons.

How old are you? I'm 28 and our little one is 3.5 years. We can get pregnant just can't stay pregnant!

RoseannesMamma · 20/10/2024 15:12

@ChristinaB1203 Yes same! Our first was really quick with no issues, then this time round conceived really quickly again actually but all losses! We started in February this year, this is cycle 5 since the last loss now, cycle 8 in total!

EmTTC2 · 20/10/2024 14:56

ChristinaB1203 · 20/10/2024 11:53

Exactly! Do these look like positive OPK to anyone?

They are very nearly there. I'd test every few hours. They may go peak by tonight x

ChristinaB1203 · 20/10/2024 14:28

@RoseannesMamma I sympathise with. We are TTC our second. Had 2 chemicals this year. Conceived first with no issues and within first months.
I'm exhausted and feel like I'm going to lose my mind!
How long have you been TTC?

RoseannesMamma · 20/10/2024 12:30

Hello everyone,
Please would I be able to join? I’ve had a MMC and two chemicals this year while trying to conceive our second. They all happened in quick succession and now the last few cycles have been nothing! It’s driving me mad!

@Carportforme I'm really sorry you're going through this again. Sending love to you 💖
I'm not even surprised the EPU said that to you, my GP told me that if I miss a period, don't test and wait until I miss 2 in a row to avoid heartache 🙃 and if I am taking folic acid anyways I'll be fine.
Don't think they understand at all!

From the mouths of people who have never personally gone through it

@EmTTC2 Hello, I'm really sorry for your losses 💐. Hopefully your appointment comes through soon 🤞, be kind to yourself at this time it all becomes very all consuming doesn't it? Are you TTC at the minute or waiting for your appointment? X

Thank you. We are continuing to TTC while waiting for our appointment. Who knows how long the wait could be, so got to try in the meantime & have hope x

Carportforme · 19/10/2024 23:00

Thank you Northernsoul90. I have had some tests so I am hoping that will bring down the prices I have to pay. I guess the long NHS waits just show how common these issues are! I didnt mention above but everyone at the local EPU has been really kind this week when I've been back and forth to have bony HCG levels checked and then this morning the lady who gave me the latest figure on the phone suggested that I might want to "wait until a week after my period is due before testing in the future to avoid this upset". I was really annoyed. Does she not realise that I want to knowxesrly so I can get the data in case I need it for a fertility specialist. I really wasnt in the mood and have made a serious complaint! X

Northernsoul90 · 19/10/2024 21:49

I'm really sorry to hear that @Carportforme it's just so cruel.

It's very frustrating re the NHS wait times, everything with fertility just seems to take so long. If you do have the option to go private I would go for it, anything to get things moving a little quicker. I don't know if you've had tests previously but I have a friend who had several miscarriages and it turned out to be a thyroid problem causing the issues. Worth looking into maybe if you haven't already?

Let yourself grieve and be kind to yourself 💐. Here if you need to chat x

EmTTC2 and all,
Got the news today that we were dreading . HCG dropping like a stone so this will be our second Chemical after the missed miscarriage last year. Devestated isnt the word so I absolutely get you EmTTC2.
Have gone from the "Due May 24" thread to the "Due February 25" thread. I didnt even bother joining the "Due June 25" thread. I just thought the chances of something going wrong are so high and yet again they have. Havent stopped crying for hours!
Strangely, my progesterone is still high and I am hoping it does start to drop soon, as I dont want another D&C!
I am on an NHS waiting list to see a specialist but i am getting so distraught now and i seriously think this is a blocking antibody issue, although cant say what yet. Very long story why I think this is the case.
Since the NHS doesnt do the tests I think I may need my mum is going to use her meagre savings to at least give us a start privately. Just trying to decide which specialist to go for.

So sorry you are going through this

Hi everyone. I've had 3 chemicals in the last 5 months. I have one living child who is 6. Am I just broken? Or is there any hope? I've had kidney, liver, thyroid, hbc1a, AMH, B12, vitamins, iron, FSH, LH, prolactin, and testosterone tested. All came back normal. Waiting on blood tests coming back from the hospital to check for APS. Progesterone does seem to be low, but can't get any help with that until I'm seen by recurrent miscarriage clinic which I'm waiting on an appointment for

ChristinaB1203 · 19/10/2024 05:50

@Northernsoul90 last month it was cycle day 9! But I have got positives on cycle day 21 before. Like I say they vary greatly for me.

Northernsoul90 · 18/10/2024 22:22

@Carportforme Hope you're doing okay, how stressful for you... did you have your blood draw today? Hoping for good results for you 🙏

@ChristinaB1203 Sorry to hear about your chemicals 💐. Do you know what day you usually ovulate? It does look like it may start getting stronger... I used OPKs this time and the day I got a positive it was with second morning urine so maybe do a few a day if you can at different times to try and catch it xx

It's really really stressful. Had bloods done again today so just waiting for result tomorrow. Thank you for your kind words, will let you know how it goes,

Hi Hun, sorry to hear about your chemicals. It’s also stressful isn’t it. That doesn’t look as if it’s getting close. Needs to be at least a stark/darker than the control line but I would say it’s definitely getting there so keep an eye on it x

ChristinaB1203 · 18/10/2024 12:10

Hi everyone, please can I join.

I had my second chemical of the year this month. First one in April. Now cycle day 12 since this. Back testing OPK, though these have been unreliable for me in the past.

I've had bloods at doctors, all fine though so show I have mild PCOS but not affecting ovulation as those result normal.

Does this look to anyone like it could be positive OPK soon?

Sending love to anyone else going through this heartbreaking experience.
