How long have you been Lh testing for? I've only been testing 2 months but the first month, all my lines were faint (I was testing every day).
This month my lines started pale but got very very dark out of nowhere, which didn't happen last month!

Do you test once or twice a day? First month I tested only once a day but this month I tested twice a day for 2 weeks. Some days I would test in the morning and it would be darker than when I test in the evening, or the other way around

Makes sense. I have just never had one as dark as the test line, so don’t know if I’m missing it or if it’s due to the water intake.

I have tested this theory and even after a 30 minute hold my line was still as dark as the test line so I’m not sure how much it effects it. It didn’t seem to for me!

I know right !!! I try to limit drinking 2h before testing...

Does anyone ever have the issue with trying to detect ovulation on the strips as I drink so much water throughout the day I think that’s affecting my strips. most of the time I get no line at all, occasionally I get faint lines - never had one as dark as the test line but I worry that due to drinking throughout the day, if I test later then it’s not accurate cos of how watered down it is - is that a thing or am I imagining it?

Hi girls - thanks for the posi vibes and great to hear we are all in this midlife stage together! We’ve done the right thing in pushing our careers and waiting for the right person :)) it’s lovely to hear we are all in the same boat.

bit more positive about everything today though am worried this extreme house stress we are having isn’t going to help my chances!

i am 9 days post static smiley which I assume is dpo and have rationalised my house nightmare. Having baby a priority! More emotional than normal this week.

really am going to try very hard not to do an early test and wait until AF due next week (no better pregnancy test 😂) but now want to to focus on that (but shouldn’t focus on that either!)

Oh bless you! Hopefully you just missed the peak as you said and BD at the right time 😃 increased CM can be a sign!! My cervix is almost unreachable whereas usually at this point it’s low so hopefully something! Xx

@Gemmaemilyx yes still early, good luck to you 🤞🏻 the wait isn't easy especially after your CP! My cycle is all over the place after my Cp, still having loads of CM and the LH test are still negative 🤦🏻‍♀️ dunno what to think as normally i should be expecting AF in a week!

my tests are still the same so I’m thinking it’s either serious line eyes or a bad evap on the easy at homes, I’m only 9/10dpo though so still time 😊 how’s everyone doing today? Xx

I had a tiny bit when I wiped yesterday so was wondering if it was coming or if it was spotting etc but then this morning it seems to be more so I’m guessing it’s a period. Not heavy but I never am too heavy.

Only my 2nd period since the MC (6.5week ago) so wonder if my ovulation wasn’t at the time I thought it was if my cycle is still a bit messed up.

I'm 34, I also focused on career, moved from
the countryside to London. I was with a partner for 8 years until he decided we were better off as friends.. it really came out of the blue and I thought that our future was together. After that I made a bit of a dramatic decision to quit my job, move back home and try to start a new life. I now have a small business and met someone new, we've been ttc for 9 months now, I'm 34 he's 39.

I've been tracking using premom for 6 months, last month I had my bloods done which confirmed ovulation. I'm currently 5 dpo!

I watched a YouTube video recently which explains what's happening at each dpo if the egg is fertilised - it's friggin amazing! The fact that our bodies are capable of that is amazing and also reassures me as to why it can take a while for it to make little miracles inside of us.
