This defo sounds like late ovulation!!! And your PDG would have been really low if you haven’t yet ovulated. Hopefully that means you’re not automatically out this month! 🤞🤞

I did make another post (new here) but thought it might be better to join this one, hope that’s okay!

Im only on my first cycle of TTC this month, but got quite optimistic when I had light pink implantation bleeding at 7dpo. It has carried on the last couple of days but now more of a light brown.

I have a fairly long luteal phase so AF not due until 15dpo, but tests on 11dpo were negative so not feeling hopeful now.

Anyone had similar?

I do mine using wrist temp. But you can do it from the front or back downstairs or mouth.. just whichever your most comfortable with. I’d just check your thermometer is definitely okay to use used in the nether regions if this is what you go for!

Has that ever happened before not ovulating? It does suck this whole journey!!
It's so strange although in the TWW im glad not to be constantly testing to see when LH surges etc! No symptoms at all for me, 7DPO today, just trying to keep busy at work! Not really hopeful this month as just been so stressed with work and life in general! Xxx

Im okay, no symptoms tbh no. Not feeling hopeful. Last night found out one of my best friends is 12 weeks, happened first time for her, so feeling a bit deflated today. I’m so glad we have this thread, as hearing that yesterday made me feel so alone in this journey of it taking a little longer.. but to be able to reach out this morning is so helpful.

Held off testing but think I will do tomorrow morning at 10DPO, maybe Friday at 11DPO. AF due Sunday..

hi all, we begin TTC either tomorrow or Thursday! been testing with clearblue digital twice a day since flashing smiley appeared.

Can I join ladies? 38 ttc #1. Only started last month, so this is only cycle 2. Ewcm on Sunday morning, so DTD Sunday afternoon. Got a flashing smiley on Sunday evening, and a static smiley on an old pink expired clear blue stick on Monday afternoon. DTD again on Monday night. Assuming today was ovulation day but who knows eh?! Away with work today-Thurs so that’ll be it for our efforts for this month. Counting this as 1DPO and starting the tww.

Ok so I had static smiley Sunday I’ve 3 DTD in the bank including today, annoyingly didn’t yesterday but hopefully one will stick! If not will go for 3-4 times again next month. I’m not sure if I have a job following restructuring so at least I’ll think about that (and how to get a new one!) instead of my uterus!

Thank you for this!! We DTD last night so I think we'll skip tonight and DTD tomorrow - last month was a bit too intense so we'll prob stick to every other night.

Oh it's enough to drive you mad! 😳 and you're right, it's so exhausting and it's just constant.

Thanks again for the advice, Amazon has literally just delivered another box of LH tests so will make sure to crack on 🤪

I'm the same I get a really quick surge, literally a matter of hours - they say it's like 24-36hrs from when you start to see a surge and then 8-12hrs from your peak - so make sure you keep testing lh so you can identify when it's starting to lower and make sure you've defo found your peak - but if your peak was tonight then yeah I'd say you'd be due to ovulate tomorrow.

Personally I start DTD when I start to see the line get a bit darker, usually this lasts for like 3 days so I try leave a day between, then on the day of the peak and then the day or 2 after just because the time for ovulation to happen isn't exact I just try and cover every opportunity 😅

It's alot and it's exhausting and it really isn't the most romantic but we do what we can 😆

This month we only managed to do the day before peak, the day of peak and the day after but obviously they say sperm lives up to 5 days so I think as long as you're DTD on the days around peak, it should be enough.

It's actual headache inducing isn't it 😅😅
