Arrived this morning, but it is what it is! Onto the new cycle 😊.
I’ve booked a pelvic ultrasound for CD12, as I’ve never had one and have a few concerns from some notes on my medical records from my latest smear about my cervix so hoping that will either put my mind at rest or let us know if there’s anything going on down there. Was advised to do it at that point in cycle so they can also check my follicles and if it looks like I’m ovulating!

I’m 38 and I sometimes panic as well that I left it too late, but my friend is expecting her first at 40 without any medical interventions so I have to think positively. I also refuse to beat myself up about the fact that I didn’t start sooner, I met the love of my life later than I hoped, it was out of my hands. I’m grateful every day that I didn’t have a child at 30 with the wrong person. We’ll give this our best shot ladies, that’s all we can do.

@Lila34830 @pastelpink0 yes exactly and I defo second what you say about the trying and cycles always being different.. until TTC my ovulation was CD16 every single month.. since this journey I’ve have CD13, CD15 and CD17.. all symptoms different each month bar sore boobs and bloating. I feel like I can’t even try plan DTD as it’s not very reliable 😂. Every month I’m trying to get ahead and second guess and it doesn’t work 🤣 we only managed once this time as ovu appeared so early and the first month we missed peak and ovu day as I assumed it had been and gone!! It’s so flipping annoying 🙃😂. We’ve agreed this month we’re just gonna DTD every other day from my period ending.. IM TIRED JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!!!!

@Toppstileslover sorry your having a hard time, we all experience ups and downs on this journey! Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

Thank you ladies! It’s a lot on top of TTC. Being a guy is so easy isn’t it? I’ve got to try and relax this is so bad for health. Think if I get AF I’ll have to have the rest of this year off it’s just one thing after another 😭🩷🦄

@Toppstileslover sometimes life can be tough on us, but remember the sky always clears up. As for the age, dont focus on that, as long as you are trying and doing you part, dont loose hope quite yet, we are all trying for our first baby, many of us have one or more losses on the way, and we are still keeping it positive. Remember stress will only make it worse. Try to let go, do some soothing activities, one you actually enjoy and try to keep busy, i find myself handling better the tww when being very busy at work. This journey is filled with ups and downs, hopefully will we have sunshine ☀️ soon.

It sounds like you have a lot on at the moment, try and be kind to yourself.

I'm turning 36 and worry I've left it to late, we think we only want one but if we decide to have more then I feel like clock ticking.

I think that's why there is so much pressure on me as well.

Honestly I feel like the universe is conspiring against me. I had the first line blood test to see if I ovulated this morning (rudest nurse ever didn’t even say good morning) then the mortgage man rang to say our house we’d had an offer accepted on (after 3 sealed bids) has been undervalued by £150k 😱😱😱😱

so I’ve just spent the day crying. I did my blood pressure at the doctors and that was ridiculously high as well. I’m relatively slim and fit so it must be the stress

absolutely paranoid that I’m 37 in 14 days and never going to have a baby (or move house at this rate, but equally I can buy a house forever and I have a bone crushing realisation that I can only have 2 babies in a relatively small window of the next 3-4 years)

alas I’m still in my TWW so maybe I will get a nice BFP birthday present. My boobs hurt and I have lower tummy pains (which I did last month before I was 4 days late!) so it’s not over til it’s over. What is going on with my life!

@HE93C i'm sorry you had to go through a MC, i totally feel for you, i had my first MC the first time ever of ttc, so yeah when it doesn't happen right away after, it keeps you wandering! But hey they say you became more fertile for a few months right after so might be IT for you ❤️‍🩹

I think that’s why I’m so impatient this time - because we got pregnant and we’d only had unprotected sex 3 times!! But then we miscarried in September so obviously I took for granted the easy conception the first time!

No literally just that tiny bit on Saturday but I never get spotting usually. Then a bit of cramping today.

I feel the same as you guys have mentioned with the different PMS symptoms every month and trying to decide if it’s PMS or pregnancy!
it’s so annoying that the two have such similar symptoms so it’s hard to tell until period arrives.

I have started feeling some twinges today like very mild cramps. Has a tiny tiny red bit on the tissue when I wiped on Saturday so faint that it was blink and you’d miss it.
One min I tell myself it could be implantation and then the next I’m like don’t be stupid you’re about to come on your period. Who knows.

Period due Thursday, been testing since Friday cos I’m impatient 🤦🏽‍♀️ but obviously negative so far!! Will keep you all up to date and I have my fingers crossed for everyone!!

@Gemmaemilyx thank you for your reply, mine was short too fait line lasted for 3 days. What you said gives me hope. Honestly my cycle is all over the place now, thought i ovulated( got cramping around the time i usually OV , sadly i didn't test LH) and 4 days later i started having ewcm but the LH says negative, so either i am about to OV or already OV haha. For now im still tracking LH to be sure i dont miss a late OV.

I don't have a pattern either! And every month I get PMS symptoms I didn't normally get? I swear our bodies know we're up to something and they freak out! 😂

There must be some scientific reason why our cycles suddenly decide to change when TTC! My periods were never very regular anyway but they're even more irregular now

I ovulated a couple days later than usual which I looked at dr google and is common! But my chemical was short lived, I had a positive in the morning then they got fainter by the evening sadly. And then started bleeding the next day on CD 24 , but full force CD27. I’ve also read that it’s really common for the month after a chemical for healthy pregnancies so really hoping for us!! Have you been testing ?? Xx
