My first ever two week wait! Day one post ovulation, if I’ve done the maths correctly! Anyone else?

@Pennyroses that sounds tough. So sorry for your loss. The lady who does mine said relaxation is so important and TTC is stressful enough without having previous losses. I’m currently doing it every 2 weeks.

@ThatSnugSwan definitely try and find some local recommendations. I’ve really liked it!

ThatSnugSwan · 15/10/2024 08:32

@LS888 Sounds so nice I may look into it. This is obly my first month back ttc after a loss but the relaxation part sounds so good I'm so stressed lately we have a lot going on at the moment. @Anon2822 Your very welcome and sorry for your loss 🤍 Baby dust to you.
@Pennyroses Im actually so nervous to find out if its our month or not, the only symptom I had was a pulling sensation in my left side but its gone now. Also due on Saturday

Pennyroses · 15/10/2024 08:06

Anyone else feeling like it just isn't going to be the month this month?? I feel like all my pms symptoms are kicking in now and I'm feeling quite down about it 🙁 period is due Saturday.
@LS888 I did reflexology to conceive last year, started in the may and I was pregnant by August. Unfortunately I lost that baby at 19 weeks at the end of last year 😢 but I do feel it worked. It was just so expensive so I stopped it, thinking of starting it up again now you've mentioned it! x

Anon2822 · 15/10/2024 07:49

Hey ladies, can I join in on your TWW thread 🤞🏼 I’m 6DPO, been trying to conceive for 9 months now, had a chemical last month. I’m hoping this is the month to get that BFP!

LS888 · 15/10/2024 07:45

@ThatSnugSwan it is just reflexology on your feet that activates different pressure points that link to different areas of your body. She can tell areas where I’m holding tension and can tell when I’m about to ovulate. She knows my history of my mmc any that we are trying to conceive. It’s also a nice way for me to relax - I didn’t think I would enjoy it as I have ticklish feet but it’s actually really nice. A lady who did last last NCT course recommended it for conception- she had it throughout her IVF treatment and throughout pregnancy. Another lady’s my mum knows who had 8 MC recommended it. So thought I’d live it a try! If it doesn’t do anything other than relax me then that’s fine. It’s quite nice to have an hour of me time.

ThatSnugSwan · 14/10/2024 22:16

@Clara202 Thats a lovely positive way to look at it, its exciting 😀 @LS888 Fertility reflexology what does that entail? Sounds interesting

Clara202 · 14/10/2024 20:51

I think there’s 6 of us here now. Just think, this time time next week, one of us may be pregnant, or all 6 if we want to think really positively about matters 😂

On Thursday I will be 11dpo and maybe going to test then. My period is due on Wednesday. I also have a fertility reflexology appointment on Thursday and feel she might be able to get an inclination so I’d rather test before that appointment. I’ve only had 2 sessions so far surprising how much they can tell!

Samthenanny · 14/10/2024 20:24

@Clara202 first was 10dpo and I got super excited .second was 12dpo

Clara202 · 14/10/2024 13:53

Welcome @Samthenanny
Do you remember what days po you tested when you had the chemicals? Hoping for a more positive result for you soon x

OP posts:
Samthenanny · 14/10/2024 12:26

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining.
this is montn 6 of trying for no2, I’ve had 2 chemicals. My first happened within 6 weeks of coming off the pill so I assumed it’d be quick this time around also but being 37 I guess I’ve got to be realistic.
im 7/8 dpo been having mild cramps since day 3 and since day 5po weird tingling and burning sensations in my boobs but they’re fine too touch.
no idea when I’ll test as I don’t want to disappointed again

Clara202 · 14/10/2024 12:12

According to my app I’m due on Saturday as well but I’m not long off the pill and I was quite irregular even when I was off it as well so I’m not really expecting it to arrive then anyway. I’ll wait until Thursday or Friday and use the digital. At least there won’t be any second guessing that result!
@ThatSnugSwan that pulling to me sounds like a sign of something cooking🙏🏻 I have no signs at all, even the sore boobs have eased.

ThatSnugSwan · 14/10/2024 11:51

Still holding out and havnt tested yet 9dpo and to be honest seeing some tests on this forum of women asking and thinking they maybe see a line or not has made me think I dont want to test early I think it will drive me crazy. Due AF on Saturday and hoping I get a sign before then like Implantation bleeding as Ive always got it when pregnant. Still having the pulling sensation in my left side which is starting to worry me now so if this isnt my month ill be going to my GP and dicusssing that left sensation, its keeping me awake at night. How is everyone doing today?

LS888 · 13/10/2024 20:40

I won’t be testing any earlier than Thursday. That’s when my period is due. So holding out until then.

Pennyroses · 13/10/2024 19:45

@Clara202 I don't think so, I haven't mentioned it to my doctor or anything. To be honest I think I would have known anyway, that 'period' was a lot heavier and more painful than usual with quite large clots which I don't usually get. I suppose it depends what your period is normally like, if it's heavy and painful you maybe wouldn't know the difference? In a way I'm glad it shows I can get pregnant though.
I'm going to try so hard to stay strong and not test! I really don't want to see a negative so I think that will hopefully help stop me 😬 x

Clara202 · 13/10/2024 18:56

My sore boobs are almost gone now, they were so sore the last 3 days or so, and felt so heavy and fuller. They’re still a small bit tender but nothing compared to the days before so I’m not sure what to make of that. I have no twinges or anything else today.
@Pennyroses I might chicken out of testing on Thursday myself so I might wait with you as well! I’m changing my mind daily on that 😅
is there any benefit at all in knowing if you’ve had a chemical, from a medical point of view?

OP posts:
Pennyroses · 13/10/2024 15:13

Hey everyone, I'm around 8 dpo today. I'm really nervous because I have no sore boobs yet and they always start hurting by now except last month when I had a chemical. So I'm worried it's going to be the same again 🙁 I don't really have any symptoms at all yet. I tested at 11 dpo last month and because of what happened I really want to hold out until at least 16 dpo this time, that will be next Monday, so another 8 days!! 😩 That will be a very long wait!!!

Pennyroses · 13/10/2024 15:08

@Clara202

ThatSnugSwan · 13/10/2024 13:38

No symptoms only I still have the pulling sensation in my lower left side so I have no idea whether to feel hopeful or not, time will tell. The waiting is torture. Sore boobs is a really good sign 😊

Clara202 · 13/10/2024 13:29

I’ve got some cheap ones ordered as well. I have a Clearblue 3 pack which I thought were all digital but looks like two are the ones that are notorious for evaps so I’ll hold out and just use the digital on Thursday I think. Any noticeable symptoms today? My sore boobs seem to be calming a bit

OP posts:
ThatSnugSwan · 13/10/2024 12:58

Sorry Tuesday is actually 10 dpo so maybe Tuesday or Wednesday

ThatSnugSwan · 13/10/2024 12:55

I think it will be a miracle if I hold out until Wednesday thats 10 dpo then. Im gona use cheap strips to test first because I spent a fortune on tests a few months ago

Clara202 · 13/10/2024 09:58

When is everyone planning to test? I think I’ve decided on Thursday

OP posts:
LS888 · 11/10/2024 21:32

@Clara202 thanks ☺️ I only took folic acid and vitamin D when I first conceived my little girl. I then tried pregnacare when I was pregnant but couldn’t handle them as they made me feel sick all day alongside generally feeling nauseous. So they weren’t for me! I have also taken proceive in the past too. The ones I’m trying now are quite expensive but think you have to stop the ubiquinol if you do conceive.

Clara202 · 11/10/2024 21:25

@LS888 welcome to the group! Nice to have another 38 year old in out mix! It’s my first time ttc so I’m only taking Proceive at the moment to see how I get on, I alternate between the Max version and the tablets.
