My first ever two week wait! Day one post ovulation, if I’ve done the maths correctly! Anyone else?

Yes Im the same Im sure the contraception I was on was also the reason for it. Reading your comment Im sure you will be covered if you get to dtd Tuesday because it can stay upto 5 days waiting so fingers crossed its a good month and we get our bfps this month. Im very distracted this month as we have started to look at wedding venues so Im hoping I wont drive myself crazy during the tww as ill be busy wedding planning

@ThatSnugSwan im the same, it’s been years since I’ve seen this as I was on the pill for so long so it was a relief to see it this morning, just to know that certain things are still happening anyway. I’m CD13. Hoping I ovulate between now and Tuesday 🤞🏻

Hi @Clara202 Looking forward to another month. Im abit confused with my cycle I had EWCM on cd8 so I done the ovulation strips yesterday and had a strong line but not positive and again today on cd10 it looks like its fading so Ive no idea what's going on so Im just going to dtd every second day if I can convince himself haha
I also Didnt get any ewcm last month but did get a positive ovulation test but wondering if I ovulated at all last month. Happy to actually notice the ewcm this month it gives me some hope

How is everyone doing?
I started back with the ovulation strips on Thursday. Negative Friday, negative Saturday, flashing smiley today. Had ewcm this morning as well which I don’t remember having last month. DTD today. Will do again tomorrow and Tuesday morning. I have to go away for work Tuesday-Friday so won’t be near Husband for those days. Typical timing!

@ThatSnugSwan sorry AF arrived, think I'm following shortly behind you. Mines due tomorrow and I've been cramping a lot today so I know it's just around the corner 🙁 hopefully we'll all have better luck next month 🤞

I had a HCG blood test done yesterday at 8dpo and it was negative, do you think I’m out? Has anyone else had early bloods that initially returned a negative result before them getting a positive

I have no answer Im afraid but 8dpo is too early Im guessing as implantation can happen between day 6 and 12 past ovulation. So I think you are still in with a chance 🙂

@Clara202 must be the way I write 🤣 7 in a box in Deals so pick up two boxs just so you can test twice in the day once you see the line getting very strong

@Clara202 you can use the Premom app to read the test strips for you which I found easy to use. I think as long as you record a lower test strip after your peak it will show you your peak for that cycle. Good luck!

@LS888 I was just there waiting for the flashing smiley and all of a sudden it went from nothing to static so I probably do need to see the gradual progression myself to ensure I don’t miss the window. Something else to get the hang of!

@Clara202 I used the easy at home ones bought from Amazon. Couldn’t get my head around the clear blue ones.

@Clara202 I used the cheap pound shop ones from a shop called Deals, Im in Ireland. I definitely got my peak on them because the line was stronger than the control line. I'll be buying the same ones again for November

Can anyone recommend good OPKs? I had used the fancy clear blue ones. The ones that are meant to go from empty circle, to smiley, to static. I went from circle to smiley with no flashing. I’m wondering if I missed a window as a result so mains I should get done cheap ones and test daily?

12dpo and due my period in 2 days. Another negative this morning so Im going to stop testing now and wait for AF to show

I just have really strong AF symptoms, I'm really emotional and boobs are sore like usual, it just feels like it's coming but we'll see. If it's not here by Sunday I'll do a test 🤞❤️ x

@Pennyroses my husband didn’t want me to test without him here and he was leaving for work at 6am so we agreed he would wake me up! I have been feeling sick for 2 days so had a feeling I might be but didn’t want to test either in case it was negative. I was also due yesterday and no AF and I’m always between 28-30 days and yesterday was day 30.

@LS888 omg congratulations!! 🎉 I'm resisting testing despite being 12 dpo, I'm just so terrified of seeing a negative and I feel AF is definitely going to arrive anyway. I see you was up early too, bet you were so excited to see that line!! Enjoy the feeling ❤️

Ladies I’ve had my BFP! It is still very faint but I’m only 11dpo trying to stay calm and enjoy the moment. Hope we have some more positives on here today!
