and the next time I get pg I am definatly taking heparin, Im to ring the fetal medicine consultant asap after bfp and they will organise it, he will also probably prescribe progesterone, even tho my bloods are fine, he wants to cover all bases.

if i am not pg in 4m then Im to go back to fertility clinic for clomid, I have also been referred to a new mc clinic that is being set up. feel a bit better actually.

so what have i missed?

soosy · 21/04/2008 22:03

With you about not trying to conceive Lissie. You will have a baby, that was what my consultant said after I had my mc after my first IVF attempt, it did take another nine attempts but it did happen. It will happen for you too.

donbean · 21/04/2008 22:02

Isle of Man?

Life on hold lissie, i know that feeling. Im desperate to book a holiday that we all deserve for next spring...but cant in case we are in the throes of labour!

donbean · 21/04/2008 22:00

oh where are you???
Knot end???

ImightbeLulumama · 21/04/2008 22:00

it is an interesting question and i think the answer will be predicated on the care and hlelp you can get from LWH and if it can be done elsehwere. and for continuity of care too, i don;t know, it is a big decision. you will make the right one for you though

OracleInaCoracle · 21/04/2008 21:58

dont know lulu, i kind of feel that if we dont continue with ttc we will always regret it. we've come too far to give up now. but how long can i carry on holding off our life, just in case?

donbean · 21/04/2008 21:57

OracleInaCoracle · 21/04/2008 21:56

you may qualify for LWH if yu wanted to go that route. i had a look, but there is nothing i can really add, just relieved that someone is listening to us!

OracleInaCoracle · 21/04/2008 21:48

thanks squonk, he actually said "we will help you, dont worry" and didnt dismiss my own research (thinks maybe hughes is a possibility) and didnt treat me like a hysterical harpy!

spoke to dh afterward and we both feel confident that by 18m we will have dc2 ]

donbean, dont blame you. where are you?

OP posts:
donbean · 21/04/2008 21:44

we havent got a mc clinic around here any way.

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 21/04/2008 21:44

oh, brill, lissie.

Someone is listening.
Someone is doing something.

Good luck with this

donbean · 21/04/2008 21:43

nah, i dont really see the point tbh.
i cant explain it to you lissie but i just feel in my bones that the next time we try every thing will be fine.

If not, then i am 38, i have a very healthy 4 year old and so am vey lucky to have him. It is the way that my path takes me.I dont want to be prodded and poked.

So plan is to wait for 2 months, have 2 periods, clear my system, take some vits and minerals (pre preg type things) get a stone off then try again.
What will be will be.

OracleInaCoracle · 21/04/2008 21:39

have you been referred to the mc clinic yet?
