Hey everyone moving over from the ttc sept 2024 thread. Very light start to period today. Expect to start tomorrow with negative pregancy tests. Thought id dip my toes in and start a wee thread.

Little bit about me. Im 35 years (soon to be 36 in oct...a birthday bfp would be lovely) been ttc since jan this year. This will now be cycle 10 for me. I have a 8 year old daughter with my ex and had to have ivf/icsi to have her due to his low sperm count. My new partner and i have been together now 2 and a half year and would love to extend our family.

So far i have had day 21 bloods which confirmed that i am ovulating and waiting to hear back regarding his SA results.

Please feel welcome in joining this thread and sending postive pregnancy vibes to all 😍

@Nicola1988 77 million is great, well above average! Hopefully this puts both of your minds at ease

Nicola1988 · 28/09/2024 20:56

Hope everyone is well. On cd 11 today think ill get peak ovulation tomorrow. Partner got his SA results on friday. Gp said nothing concerning..count is 74 million with 66% motile. He cant rememeber the other numbers but gp told him given the fact his numbers are good and im ovulating he is hopeful its going to happen and just taken its time x

Hi ladies, joining from the September thread.. CD1 again.. only 11 days after ovulation so not even sure if it’s possible for me to get pregnant with that short a luteal phase? Has been shorter since MMC in July so hoping it lengthens soon
Tested early (again) this month and thought I had a vfl so I’m going to try not to buy any tests this month 😬 just end up hurting my own feelings!

MyGardenDaisies · 28/09/2024 13:18

@AmberM223 I suggest you try digital ovulation tests at they take the “reading” part away

AmberM223 · 28/09/2024 12:29

Hey everyone i’m on CD14 now. I don’t think i usually ovulate until around CD17-19 anyway - but been doing ovulation sticks since AF finished last week. And each day my sticks seem to be getting lighter!? not darker? Is this normal? never used them before and i don’t get it. I only test once per day, but i do test at the same time. I’m just using boots own brand ones! It’s making me panic that i don’t even ovulate!!

HNM · 27/09/2024 22:25

@MyGardenDaisies Amazing, thank you! I definitely need to Google some of these supplements. The no caffeine thing is going to be sooooo hard, I have a 12 month old and I teach at secondary school two days a week 🙃 I normally have two coffees a day, it's my vice! Maybe I should work harder at tracking my ovulation too... I actually need to do all of things better and more hahahaha

lochmaree · 27/09/2024 16:13

Hope it's ok to join, I think I ovulated on Sunday or Monday but not sure as I thought I had some ewcm earlier today. I'm also not sure when my last period was, I know it was early September sometimes but not sure on dates.

MyGardenDaisies · 27/09/2024 15:48

My new cb digital reader says high fertility too so trying to DTD ever day until 1 day past peak

MyGardenDaisies · 27/09/2024 15:47

@hnm haha I either take/or have read good things about:
CoQ10
Inositol- this has my cycle super regular
ovulation tracking
lots of sex 😅
no caffeine
do a blood panel to check your hormones are all normal
reduce stress
balanced nutrition

HNM · 27/09/2024 11:27

Are you ladies using any tips or tricks? I've just bought some pregnacare conception vitamins as I used them before and my partner is taking ashwaganda. Any other tips or old wives tales welcome LOL!

HNM · 26/09/2024 22:48

Joining this thread :) We've decided to try for a second, we have a 12 month old and had the chat a few weeks ago. We had sex a few times but definitely not 'trying', more getting back into it LOL.

AF started lightly on Tuesday so now in full swing. I'm scared to track ovulation with sticks because I did that before I got pregnant with our baby and they never went dark... I'm not sure if I want the pressure as I think we're just going to try to DTD as much as possible! Sending good luck to all of you ✨✨✨

RW269 · 26/09/2024 22:41

@CoolSummer89 11 cycles we’ve been on these threads together. I’m hoping so so hard this is going to be both of our cycle!! Sending you lots of luck ✨🤞

MyGardenDaisies · 26/09/2024 15:43

I don’t want to waste tests and use both Holders, but also want to get my money’s worth and find out when my ovulation and high fertility days are

MyGardenDaisies · 26/09/2024 15:41

Thank you! Good luck to us all!

I have gotten myself confused with the Clear Blue digital ovulation tests!

I had sticks and holder left from last cycle and used it for the following tests:
CD 8: empty circle (not fertile)
CD 9 morning : flashing smiley (high fertility)
CD 9 afternoon: static smiley (peak fertility)

last month I got the peak on CD17, so this peak on CD9 seems very odd! Could that be true?

I thought I would us the same wee and dip a new test and use the new Holder - it shows an empty circle.

which one should I trust? The instructions say you can use a holder again for a new cycle, and that tests are 99% accurate.

very confused 🫤 these are way too expensive to be so confusing!

Mrscmay17 · 26/09/2024 10:27

@MyGardenDaisies good luck 💖 I have no will power literally cd2 & I ordered the bulk pack of the cheap strip tests with my folic acid. I have no will power to wait once I know there is a chance so rather then spend a fortune when it's time I compromised with being prepared haha. Hopefully it's a good month for all of us

HighSir · 26/09/2024 10:12

@MyGardenDaisiessending baby dust your way ✨ .

MyGardenDaisies · 26/09/2024 09:06

Morning! How’s everyone doing?

I got first flashing smiley on CB digital test this cycle this morning, so it’s go time for baby making 😄
Agreed with my other half that we will test together and only when period is missed, otherwise I waste so much money on testing too early

CoolSummer89 · 25/09/2024 15:01

@katsworld24 that definitely looks positive. False positives are incredibly rare, and the width and colour of this one is what you would expect, so hopefully you can rest easy.
Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months. Also great news that your DP has nothing to worry about SA wise :)

Mrscmay17 · 25/09/2024 14:18

@katsworld24 congratulations 🎊

katsworld24 · 25/09/2024 13:05

Thank you - won't get hopes up yet as the reviews for false positives look concerning so will double check with some clearblue 🤞🏼

AmberM223 · 25/09/2024 12:15

@katsworld24 i would say that positive!!🥰🥰 i actually thought there was no such thing as a false positive just a false negative!

MyGardenDaisies · 25/09/2024 11:54

@katsworld24 Inwould say that’s quite a strong line! Congratulations ! 🥳

katsworld24 · 25/09/2024 11:43

I've caved early & tested 9dpo.... have very mild cramps, was sure AF due this Sunday and this is PMS symptoms, but I can see a faint line, is this too early and a false positive? Thanks

AmberM223 · 25/09/2024 07:36

I have a question - might be daft haha! But my ovulation sticks say to test at the same time each day and twice!? I was only planning on doing it once - also when i’m in the office everyday how do i do this? 🫣 Am i okay to just say test at 5pm each day when i get home or is that too late in the day!?

MyGardenDaisies · 24/09/2024 18:32

@katsworld24 my CB does show flashing for about 3 days and then static
