Hi everyone,

Ooh, it's the exciting time of the month again.....keeping fingers crossed for both Angel and Carolyn.....baby dust coming your way Soosy, some for you too, hope the FET is successful *

Is anybody else testing soon? Here's some for everyone!

We had a successful kitchen day on Saturday, we managed to pick one we both like, which is amazing as we have totally different tastes (DH's tastes are more expensive, and when he realised his choice was way over budget he came round to my way of thinking!!) We're having someone round next week to measure up, and show us one of those computer images so we can see what it looks like. We're not actually getting it done until I'm on summer hols, but we need to get planning now, otherwise we will never do anything about it!!

Hope everyone has had a good Monday! At last the weather seems to be on the turn!!

Angel2008 · 21/04/2008 16:59

No - we stopped after 30 March cos of Oz! FF did say it was a fertile day so either a) am pregnant but just not showing up on tests yet or b) not pregnant and AF just late! Aagghh!! Is confusing as only 3rd cycle off pill and my first 2 cycles were both dead on 28 days and I always used to be quite regular. Apparently it can take some women ages to get a HPK to show up +ve, but I will I will I will keep a steady head! Been using cheapo Boots ones but (ssshh, don't tell Willmouse) - got a digital one this morning as well. That little egg timer thing is so dramatic!

Oh oh Carolyn - am excited for you! Everyone here shows so much constraint (I know, I know ... for good reason). If you were a RL friend I would have dragged you off to the toilets by now! Good luck for Wednesday anyway - make sure you log on right afterwards.

Anyway am off home now - chat tomorrow everyone!

Heartmum2Jamie · 21/04/2008 16:54

LOL at the kitten post!

Angel, step away from the tests!

Carolyn, good luck!! Exciting times are here again!

I am fine thanks ladies, midwife says I did the right things over the weekend and to let her know ASAP if it starts again. I am to keep my scan for Thursday. I definately have no plans to do more than the bare minimum around the house right now, with lots of breaks and resting in between. I am very excited to have made it is 12 weeks though! Woohoo!

ChocolateEclair · 21/04/2008 16:39

hello all

LOL about the kitten post! Sounds like my inquisitive little hamsters! And you thought the DC were a handful!

Angel - STEP AWAY FROM THE TESTS!!!! I agree, no good will come from endless testing! No idea what's going on with your cycle though. it could be another delayed ovulation then late implantation? Have you BD'd more recently than 30th march? Just wondering cos if you ov'd MUCH later than you thought it could be that? Does that make any sense? And is it a cheapie pg test you are doing or digital?

I am now on CD30 and guess what? Temp is still high...it's meant to drop just before AF. I am allowing myself just a teeny tiny bit of excitement! AF due wednesday so WILL NOT TEST until then!!!! Sorry to disappoint

MrsPuddleduck · 21/04/2008 16:04

Can't believe we are all on the next thread!

Can't believe kittens can move so quickly

Can't believe kittens can get into such small places

Can't believe kittens are so much work!

(At least he is litter trained and seems to be sleeping loads!)

Will post more tomorrow when the children are out of the house so I only have the cat to worry about!

Angel2008 · 21/04/2008 14:11

HC - LOL! I couldn't agree more! Have 'stepped away from the tests' - sigh!

xxx

HumphreysCorner · 21/04/2008 14:00

Angel-stay away from those tests . Me and DH fell out or should I say I fell out with him as apparently it is my fault we haven't any money. He just doesn't earn enough. He thought he was going to get his jollies last night-didn't get the message until I said no don't! Men

MJIM-hope you have an excellent holiday.

Heartmum-how are you today?

willmouse-did you get the kitten?

Good luck and vibes to anyone testing.

Waves to everyone else.

Hi all (and welcome Tinkerbell)

Hope everyone had nice weekends. AF still hasn't arrived but tests are still showing BFNs. I guess there is zero chance of this turning into a BFP since we last BD on 30 March?? Bellie I have had 2 cycles of 28 days and expected AF to show up last Thursday. So I thought I had a regular pattern but maybe not (although Ceebee am encouraged by what happened after your mammoth cycle)!! What is the opinion - is there no chance of a BFP?

Saint Willmouse - can we see photos of the kitten??

Juanitad - how did the kitchen-hunting go?

Soosy - good luck, I have a friend going through the same thing, I am thinking of you and sending you all my good vibes! Are you back from your scan yet?

Ceebee - next week fine for the sticks, thank you!!

HM2J - did you call the midwife - are you okay??

Carolyn - hope you are less achey today. Are you going to test soon??

Bellie - hope everything settles down for you soon - what a nightmare!

Majormoo - I have Sky Plus and can record programmes onto DVD - if you (or anyone else) ever needs me to help out with missed episodes of anything just let me know!

MJIM - sooo excited for you, wish I was going on holiday!!

My weekend was okay (apart from a massive row with DP!). Still not speaking so tonight should be a barrell of laughs!

Hi to anyone I've missed!

xxx

Oh CE - when are you planning to test?

HM2J - glad things are better today but still better to get checked out tomorrow if you can.

Had a good day with dh and dd loved her party - they made bears (cute) and generally ran riot in the garden!

ChocolateEclair · 20/04/2008 19:54

hi ladies

HM2J - glad things have calmed down. Hope it goes well at the doc's tomorrow, just to put your mind at rest. You must have been terrified poor thing. Thinking of you xx

majormoo - glad you had fun at cinema with dd. Sounds good!

MJIM - have a fab holiday . We will miss you!

Angel - has AF arrived yet? you must be overdue by now?

Hi to everyone else!

Well, have had lovely weekend, went shopping and bought a new suit! Chocolate brown linen, very snazzy, as we have interviews for our new head this week! (you have to try to make a good impression don't you! especially seing as i might hopefully be on maternity leave in the not too distant future!)

Today is CD29, temp is still high, so no sign of AF yet. Refusing to get excited though (...honest!)

majormoo · 20/04/2008 18:22

HM2J glad things are OK now. Think you are doing the right thing calling tomorrow anyway.
Put your feet up tonight.

Took DD to see the Dr Seuss Horton film this afternoon. We both really enjoyed it!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend

Heartmum2Jamie · 20/04/2008 16:39

Thanks ladies, things today are back to normal, spotting has stopped, ovary pain practically gone and baby sounds good. I will still be calling the midwife tomorrow, maybe they will have a cancellation spot for a scan.

Just my luck though, the in-laws showed up unexpectedly. Dh congratulated me on making myself not look pregnant, lol! Thankfully I have a have a jumper on that zips up and has pockets, so I kept my hands in my pockets, which I was partly doing to keep my hands warm anyway as had been outside seeing to the washing. Thank goodness we can tell them next weekend!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.

HM2J - hugs to you. Brown is better (sorry but you know what I mean) as it not fresh blood. At least you have the doppler - have you got an EPU? They may be better for you, but prob not opened on a Sun? Thinking of you and hope you managed to get some rest last night.

Sending lots of positive vibes xxxxxx

Heartmum2Jamie · 19/04/2008 22:38

Evening all! Had an awful day really. I found I was spotting at about 11 this morning, mainly brown and mucousy, naturally I was terrified! I am sooo greatful that i have a doppler right now as I was able to reassure myself that baby is fine by listening to it's heartbeat for a minute or 2 several times today. The spotting has mainly stopped with slight tan streaked CM (Sorry for TMI). I have been having an on/off sharpish dull pain low down on the left. I thought maybe it is a cyst on the ovary? I have never had cysts before, so I may be well off. I am still scared that something can and might go horribly wrong. I will not be able to relax fully until this baby is in my arms. If I continue to have spotting tomorrow, I may risk A&E. Not that they could do anything to help and I have to accept that what will be, will be, it is down to my little bean to decide if this world is right for him/her.

Sorry to be on such a downer.

MJIM: I hope you have a wonderful holiday and that I have a fab scan photo to show you when you return (see, that's me being positive!)

Near Reigate in Surrey. It might be a good day out with grandparents as they are about 45 mins from Marwell so a good meeting place!
Thanks for the link will have a good look.

oh - mjim - is Marwell good? It is about an hour from us too but we have never been. Thinking of taking dd in the summer but wondered if it was worth the drive?

Hope you have a great hol!

Toilet stopped leaking but now have wet towels everywhere just waiting for floors etc to dry out. The toilet has never been right since we moved in - I will have to bite the bullet and just get it sorted sooner rather than later.

Ce - hope the bath helped ease the legs!

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend! Trying to have an early night tonight

ceebee74 · 19/04/2008 21:13

We go to Chester Zoo - is about an hour's drive away - tis fantastic.
